We were cautioned not to jump to conclusions. A man screaming Allah Akbar and shooting American soldiers is not considered an act of terror and we were cautioned not to jump but let the elected people of this country oppose the careless spending of the government and they are terrorists. Democrats including Vice President Joe Biden called the TEA Party members of Congress terrorists (Biden denies saying it).

You see, these morons do not want civil discourse and they do not want debate. They want things their way and anyone who disagrees is a terrorist. The folks who had TEA Party support made pledges not to raise taxes and not to increase the debt ceiling unless it was linked to a balanced budget amendment. Those things are not taking place and the TEA Party members of Congress rejected the ideas. This makes them terrorists.

Yes, if you stand on your principles and keep your word then you are a terrorist. The Democrats will demonize Americans and caution us not to jump to conclusions when it concerns our enemies. Is there any doubt where their loyalties lie and that they will put politics before country? If demanding fiscal responsibility and demanding that our country spend less and be more prudent is what makes a terrorist then color me a terrorist but keep in mind that it is the people opposed to the ideas of smaller, more efficient government who are ruining this nation.

The debt limit vote still needs to pass the Senate and I am holding out hope that it will be stopped. The deal will increase taxes in 2012 when the Bush tax cuts expire and the tax increases under Obamacare take effect. The FICA lower taxes will also go back up. These are tax increases and they will hurt us. The CBO would rate extending the Bush tax cuts as costing us 5 trillion in revenue (this is how the goofy math is done in DC) so if the tax cuts expire is that not a 5 trillion dollar tax increase that must be offset by 5 trillion in cuts? And I want the cuts to be immediate and not over ten years. If you can’t spread tax increases and debt increases over ten years then I don’t want the cuts spread over that time.

The liberals said we had to raise the debt limit or we would default, lose our AAA rating and pay higher interest rates. First of all, the only way we could have defaulted is if Obama made a willful decision not to pay the people we borrowed money from. We have the income to do that so there is no way we could have defaulted on the debt. We would have had to cut some spending on programs that the government is not obligated to pay for and can stop at any time so there is no real issue there. We would not have defaulted. In addition, we will likely lose our AAA rating anyway. So we will have trillions more in debt, higher taxes and we will be paying higher interest rates as a result of the debt increase. Way to go Congress. I hope you libs are happy that you gave us the double whammy.

Did I say double whammy? I meant triple whammy. The libs said we could not default (their words, not mine) and that if we did, in addition to losing our credit rating we would also have a double dip recession. One commenter keeps saying it is the double dip I (and other conservatives) kept hoping for. That is not the truth. None of us wanted it to happen but we knew from history and the reckless spending that it likely would. Now it looks as if it is already here (and it took place well before this debt issue festered into what it is now). In other words, the Obama policies caused it and not the debt limit issue.

To top it all off the Republicans broke their pledge to post all legislation online 3 days prior to any vote. The debt limit bill was not posted for an entire day before it was voted upon. The Republican information on that part of the pledge indicates that it pertains to non emergency items but the original Pledge to America they signed contained no such language.

They broke their word and did not post it 3 days in advance. They have not been transparent and have been nothing more than what the Democrats are. Liars.

Well, not the ones who stood their ground and did not vote for this crappy deal.

America is going to suffer greatly and the Republicans gave Obama and the Democrats a way to blame it on the right. The Republicans gave in and will now, at the least, share the responsibility for the coming disaster. That is unless the Democrats find a way to blame it all on the right.

Stick to your principles and vote for what is right and what your constituents want. If you do that then you will be supported. if you don’t then you will be kicked to the curb.

Have the courage of your convictions and keep your word.

Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/awol-dems-need-to-be-remembered-in-next-election/.

Elections have consequences as we have all been reminded since Obama was immaculated. The Obama, Pelosi, Reid cartel was fond of throwing its weight around and supporters agreed with what they did because, as they told us, elections have consequences. Obama told GOP leaders that he “won” which was his way of saying that is why things had to be done the way he wanted and why the opposition really did not have a seat at the table.

Well, elections do have consequences and the country has been seeing them unfold under the Obama regime. The November 2010 elections were the result of those consequences and the new set of consequences is that Republicans made huge gains at the federal and state level and now things are going to be done the way they want.

But Democrats, who told us about elections having consequences (you know, sit down and shut up), are not taking kindly to what happened. In a handful of states Democrats are fleeing in order to avoid the consequences of having lost. They do not want certain legislation to pass so they are abandoning the jobs they were elected to do in order to thwart the will of the people. As a Maryland Republican put it (when referring to a MD Democrat who was absent over a bill most Democrats support):

“As Republicans in Maryland, we get beat up on constantly. The trick is to be smarter, work harder and find ways to achieve as many victories as you can. But you can’t just leave because you’re not going to win.” Washington Post

You can’t just leave because you are not going to win. Suppose the federal politicians were able to walk out to keep votes from happening. Can you imagine how Democrats would have acted if it happened during the vote for Obamacare?

Elections have consequences and so do actions. The actions of Democrats led to their historic defeat in 2010. And now the actions of Democrat lawmakers who have gone AWOL should cause them to lose their jobs in the next election (if not sooner).

These people should not be paid and any privileges they have as lawmakers should be revoked.

And when they return they should be apprehended.

Most importantly, they should be fired in the next election.

As an aside, I find it interesting that Democrats called House Republicans in Wisconsin cowards after a vote on a bill. What does that make the Senators who fled to avoid their duties? To Democrats they are heroes.

Go figure.

Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never sublit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/more-crime-in-wisconsin/.

The Governor of the state of Wisconsin ran on a platform of getting the state budget under control and he has begun to do so. One of the things he is working on is to have teachers pay more of their benefits. The union member teachers in Wisconsin pay nearly nothing for retirement and not much more than that for their very good health care plan. The governor wants them to pay a bit more and that bit more still amounts to about half of what private sector employees pay.

This request from the governor has not been well received by the teachers and the union thugs. Throw in a smattering of race baiting poverty pimps and you have one hell of a mess. The teachers called out sick forcing the schools to close. These “sick” teachers then went to the capitol and protested.

This is crime number one. They called out sick and were not sick. They should not be paid for the days they were out sick and in the real world they would be fired.

This led to crime number two. Doctors showed up at the protests and started handing out notes excusing the people from work. These doctors did not examine anyone and it is unlikely a record of the “visit” was generated. The doctors are writing notes excusing people from work when those doctors did not examine them (in any meaningful medical way). This is a crime and it would be fitting if the doctors had their licenses revoked for fraudulent behavior.

Crime number three (which actually came earlier than the doctor crime) is that Democrat lawmakers left the state to avoid voting on the issue. The governor wants to remove collective bargaining for public employees allowing them only the ability to negotiate salary and the Democrats want nothing to do with it.

This seems reasonable and it is more than reasonable to expect these teachers to pay more for their benefits. I always hear Democrats cry about people paying their fair share. Let some rich guy get a tax break and he is not paying his fair share (even though the rich pay most of the taxes) but let Wisconsin teachers pay almost nothing for their benefits (which means TAXPAYERS foot the bill) and Democrats line up to defend them.

My friend Don Surber had an interesting item in his Daily Scoreboard:

12. From Fox News: “If changes aren’t made to the benefit contributions paid by Wisconsin’s nearly 300,000 public sector employees, about 10,000-12,000 workers will lose their jobs, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker warned Sunday.”

Looks like that many walked away from their jobs last week. Fire them and balance the budget.

This is a very astute observation. The union must agree to changes to benefit compensation or 10-12 thousand workers will have to be fired to make up the shortfall. The union is not interested in changing benefit compensation. About 10-12 thousand teachers walked off the job to protest after fraudulently calling out sick. Fire them and balance the budget and then work on raising how much public sector employees have to pay for benefits.

This whole crime ridden issue is backfiring on Democrats. They thought they had a lot of support but the cowardly Democrat politicians turned tail and ran while the Republicans stayed and tried to conduct business and they did so at great peril because angry union thugs bused in by the unions were causing problems and trying to intimidate people.

In the world of American media the Tea Party folks, who have never been violent, are accused of all kinds of violence but the violent left is not taken to task for its demonstrable acts of violence and intimidation.

The people of Wisconsin elected Republicans because they wanted these kinds of reforms. Now it is time for the people of the state to stand up to the violent left. The people, the ones who pay the bills, need to demand that those teachers who called out sick be fired. People should consider a tax revolt if the teachers are paid for their crime.

The people should also consider moving their children to private schools. The investment in their children’s future is well worth the money it costs. Considering some of the signs at the protests it is no wonder our children are not well educated. If teachers can’t spell or use words correctly then how can we expect the children they teach to do so.

Voters should remember those Democrats who ran away from their jobs and refused to do the work they were elected to accomplish. Recall them now or vote them out in the next election.

Finally, the people should see what doctors wrote the fake notes excusing protesters from work and never go to them or switch if they are their doctors.

One final thought. The left always says it is about the children but this is not about the children, it is about the teachers and their compensation (actually, their lucrative benefits package) and nothing more. These teachers called out sick and protested because they did not like something that affected them. This was not about the children.

But what lesson did these teachers teach their students? If you do not like something then refuse to do your work, lie about it and then protest until you get what you want.

So what happens the next time a teacher decides to have a test and the students in the class decide they do not want to take it? What happens if they all call out sick and then show up at school and protest the teacher? What happens if they have fake doctor notes to excuse them? No teacher has any authority to do anything to prevent such a situation because this is what they showed the students to do…

It is people like these teachers, these cowardly politicians, the doctors writing notes and the complacent media (along with the race baiting poverty pimps) that someone had in mind when the final syllable was added to the name of the state…

Do you suppose that Keith Olbermann would wonder where the black faces in the crowd were as he did during Tea Party rallies (they were there but the MSM ignored them)? Well, Jesse Jackson was there…

Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Mr. Ogre. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/an-open-letter-to-men/.

This letter is to anyone who calls himself a man. Define that how you will.

Today, men, I ask you to think of a female close to you. This can be your wife, your girlfriend, your sister, your mother, or your daughter. Picture yourself standing with that person now. Now, I’m going to walk up to her, without your permission, and I’m going to put my hands down her pants, and I’m going to grab her rear end and her chest. Do you have any problem with that at all?

Oh, well, how about if I tell you that I’ll do it in a “non-sexual way” (whatever that means)? Is it okay then? Will you stand by idly and watch me, saying and doing nothing?

How about if I get people to pass a law that allows me to touch them? Does that make it right? Will you stand there and let me touch them, while you do nothing? What if I tell you that I’m doing it for your own good? I’ll tell you that it’s for your safety. And after all, if I don’t put my hands down their pants, the terrorists will win. Now will you stand by, watching me place my hands wherever I want on your wife, daughter, mother, girlfriend, or daughter?

Sadly, it appears the vast majority of men will do just that.

But not me. I will not stand idly by. And that is why I will not be visiting an airport any time soon. You see, the TSA has decided they have the power to touch your female friends and loved ones in any way they want. And while most males today will stand by and let it happen, I will not. I guess I’m a bit of a dinosaur, but when I witness someone attempting to put their hands down my wife’s pants, I am not going to do nothing. While I do not support violence in general, I do believe in defensive violence, and I do believe in protecting my wife from others who will attack her. When someone tries to put their hands on my wife’s body, I will physically attack them and stop them. I don’t care how many laws are passed or how many badges that person has. It is wrong, it is always wrong, and I will always do everything in my power to stop it. If you will not, you should not call yourself a man.

Now feel free to complain that I’m advocating violence and that I’m to blame for the next act of violence against a TSA worker. In all honesty, I would be glad if I were to blame. Because what these people are doing is wrong, and there appears to be no other way to stop them. They are initiating violence against people, and I am absolutely justified in using whatever means possible to stop them. I’m not the one advocating violence, the TSA workers are — even if they are just following orders.

Despite the fact that the majority of the public opposed the plan the Democrats were hell bent on ramming it through. Many of them claimed to be proud of health care and voted for it. At the time they made a big show of support and the bill signing was a spectacle.

Now that the election is near and Democrats are expected to take a beating, many of them are running from health care. It is hard to find one who claims to have supported it and none seem to be running ads telling us how great it is and how proud they were of their vote.

No wonder they are running away from health care.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/coward-democrats-leading-congress/.

The House passed a Defense Appropriations bill on Thursday and the Democrats attached a document that deemed as “passed” a budget that does not exist. The Democrats basically deemed that a non existent 1.1 TRILLION dollar budget that does not exist has passed and this will allow them to spend money for fiscal year 2011 which begins on October 1st.

Last night, as part of a procedural vote on the emergency war supplemental bill, House Democrats attached a document that “deemed as passed” a non-existent $1.12 trillion budget. The execution of the “deeming” document allows Democrats to start spending money for Fiscal Year 2011 without the pesky constraints of a budget.

The procedural vote passed 215-210 with no Republicans voting in favor and 38 Democrats crossing the aisle to vote against deeming the faux budget resolution passed. Human Events

This has never happened since the creation of the Congressional Budgetary process. Democrats are worried about how their big time spending looks back home in an election year (and only because it is an election year) so they are using cowardly means to keep spending money.

One would think if they are worried about voter reaction they would change what they are doing but instead they are using cowardly means to keep on doing business as usual.

All voters should be outraged at this and the blatant disregard for our deficit and the debt. Voters should be equally outraged that Congress has refused to pass a budget because appropriating money is a Constitutional obligation of the Congress.

If these people are not willing to do their jobs then it is time we voted them out and replaced them with people who are willing to do the job.

Maybe next April 15th all taxpayers should deem that their taxes have been paid and see how that goes over.

Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/democrats-reauthorize-patriot-act/.

The Democrats opposed the Patriot Act when Bush was the president, or at least they pretended to. They went on rants about how horrible it was, what an invasion of privacy it was, blah, blah. They tried to end it and to stop it and to change it because everyone knows Bush was really Hitler and he wanted to listen to granny discuss whole grain cookie recipes to help with constipation.

As a candidate for president, then-Sen. Barack Obama railed against parts of USA Patriot Act that gave the Bush administration sweeping powers to intercept phone and e-mail communications in the name of fighting terrorism with little judicial or congressional oversight, and Obama pledged to institute “robust” checks and balances if elected. PolitiFact

The PolitiFact article we written before the vote this week. In it the promise is rated as “In the Works.”

The Democrats wanted some provisions in there to add more oversight to the process but those did not make it in. They voted for it and Obama signed it anyway. In other words, the Democrats and Obama extended the very same Patriot Act that they bashed when Bush was president. They passed that which they claimed to have opposed. Obama signed a bill that contains something he was against when he was running for office. He signed a bill that does not do what he promised he would.

The Democratic Underground is not happy.

Neither is Counter Currents.

I guess this is not the change they were looking for or as one of them put it, the more things change…

Those sneaky Democrats added this to the Medicare Physician Payment Reform Act . They did not even have the testicular fortitude to do this as a separate piece of legislation. I think it was by design. Now they can claim they had to vote for it (and Obama can claim he had to sign it) because if they did not Medicare would suffer. Republicans have cover as well. They can claim they had to vote for it because it extended the Patriot Act.

Cowards all.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/wishing-wont-make-it-so/.

Over the past year, I have debated and conversed, and sometimes outright argued with many people about the state of our Union, and what I perceive the troubles to be. Everyone has a viewpoint, and some can make quite good arguments for their positions, some, not so much.

But I have run into a certain group of people who really would rather stick their heads in the sand, than acknowledge that there might actually be trouble in River City. They are the little kid who claps his hands over his ears and screams at the top of his voice, simply because he doesn’t like the message. That tactic, while effective perhaps in drowning the message out, does nothing in preventing the action from being taken- whereupon the person expresses surprise, saying a variant of “I didn’t think they would really do that,” when all the signs were there.

These people are who I call “Denialists”- people who just want more than anything to travel back in time before the contentiousness of today’s politics overwhelmed them. I can, believe it or not, sympathize- I would like to go back to an easier time, a less combative time, but alas, that is not to be.

Even if our political scene at home was settled, we now have the Russians, the Chinese, and the Indians, all seeking a bigger piece of the pie- and the threat might not come from one source, but multiples, for you have the baby nuke states, some of whom are crazy MoFos (I think sanity is a condition they must forgo, in order to belong).

Then you have the banana people- the Chavez/ Morales/ Castro/ Ortega leftists that seem to crop up every thirty years or so, just to make sure that their nation stays impoverished and backwards. It is probably a genetic thing.

Still, we (our Nation) are busy buddying up to these Marxist meatsacks, when in the past, we wouldn’t have given them the time of day, or if we had to notice them, we’d take them out of power- spank them good for their audacity, and throw them on the street or in prison.

No longer- our nation is undergoing a crisis of both mind and morality. All the hippies whose mantra in the 60s and 70s was, “If it feels good, do it,” now have chancres and herpes to show for their lifestyles, and the permissive attitudes they laid out for their children has resulted in Columbine Brats- children who should have been shot as a present to the rest of society. Those children were only cute to their parents, and in the end, not so much anymore. They endangered the rest of society with their permissiveness.

And these same people made up “rights”- “I have the right to do this”, or that, never giving thought that their rights ran smack dab up against laws, which were put in place for a reason. No, they just had to figure that it was “The Man” holding them back, rather than their sporadic and puerile education in the public school system.

And now the parents I talk to seem tired, beaten down, and more than willing to ignore what is going on in the halls of government today. They really don’t want to know, and some have gotten belligerent when I brought the subject up, one even threatening to shoot me- a threat he quickly rescinded, as he knows I take things like that seriously, but the fact that he would even say this indicates how fervently they want to believe this isn’t happening, and don’t even want to hear about it from friends.

This is only a good dream for the Liberals- a given 20% of the population- the rest of us range from scared, to oblivious, to pissed off. Many, as I have said, are sticking their head in the sand, and hoping it all goes away. It just goes to show, you really do not know the character of the person who you think is your friend, until the crisis comes.

Sometimes, sadly, they turn out to be Denialists.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/bald-faced-liars/.

Yep, that’s the Resident and his little posse of second- rate hucksters that trail behind him, begging for scraps- all liars. How can they even talk with each other? Would you trust anyone who has lied as much as this administration? God knows I do not.

The Resident has lied about 1)- the “stimulus”, 2)- THE “TARP”, 3)-Cap & Tax, 4)-the deficit, 5)- healthcare, and 6)- now, the CIA “investigation”, in which he claimed to want to look ahead.

His lackey, Eric Holder, the attorney general, apparently has gone off of the plantation in his investigation of the CIA. This will have a chilling effect on our ability to gather intelligence, but it seems as if Holder doesn’t know what intelligence is, because he surely isn’t displaying any.

The Justice Department released a long-secret report Monday chronicling abuses inside the Central Intelligence Agency’s overseas prisons, showing how interrogators choked a prisoner repeatedly and threatened to kill another detainee’s children.

In response to the findings, Attorney General Eric H Holder Jr. chose John H. Durham, a veteran prosecutor from Connecticut who has been investigating the C.I.A.’s destruction of interrogation videotapes, to determine whether a full criminal investigation of the conduct of agency employees or contractors was warranted. The review will be the most politically explosive inquiry since Mr. Holder took over the Justice Department in February.

nytimes.com

Why would ANY real American go this route? Why destroy the intel capacity of the CIA at a time that we need to have ALL the facilities at peak performance? All because a couple of Al-Qaida scumbags got wet? Personally, I do not care how wet they got- indeed, I don’t care if they had their skin flayed off in long, slow strips- just so we got the intel.

The CIA knows how to get intel without flaying the skin off of these pigs, but now, even a little water is too much for the pantywaists at the Justice department. It is either that, or they are flat out traitors intentionally sabotaging our intelligence capacity- I know which choice I think these people are.

The attorney general said his decision to order an inquiry was based in part on the recommendation of the Justice Department’s ethics office, which called for a new review of several interrogation cases.

In what appeared to be a response to the Justice Department’s release, the C.I.A. later on Monday released previously secret agency reports from 2004 and 2005 that detailed intelligence scoops produced by the interrogation program.

One of the reports calls the program “a crucial pillar of U.S. counterterrorism efforts” and describes how interrogations helped unravel a network headed by an Indonesian terrorist known as Hambali. The other report details information elicited from Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, chief planner of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, saying it “dramatically expanded our universe of knowledge on Al Qaeda’s plots.”

Those reports, which former Vice President Dick Cheney had sought to have released earlier this year, do not refer to any specific interrogation methods and do not assess their effectiveness.

nytimes.com

It is not the job of the CIA to be gentle- it is the job of the CIA to obtain information, and there are times where more coercive techniques need to be used. These are also, I might remind people, enemies that cut off our soldier’s heads after our soldiers have been captured. If we make them a little moist in our quest for info, that should not concern any American who cares for our citizens and soldiers.

If you have no problem with our soldiers heads being cut off, perhaps you need to be waterboarded too, because no self- respecting American allows that without some reprisal.

As we can now see, Eric Holder is no self- respecting American, but a traitor bent on destroying the CIA and its intelligence capacity. He is not alone in this, however, since the Resident could tell Holder to cease, as he says he wanted to. The fact that he does not only reveals him to be Pontius Pilate in a suit, washing his hands while Holder crucifies the CIA.

In another session of questioning, the report said, one C.I.A. interrogator told investigators that Mr. Mohammed was told that if there was another attack on American soil, the C.I.A. would “kill your children.” Mr. Mohammed’s young sons were in the custody of Pakistani and American authorities at the time.

Among a litany of C.I.A. tactics, the report describes the “hard takedown,” when a detainee was grabbed and thrown to the floor before being moved to a sleep-deprivation cell. It details baths given to Mr. Nashiri, saying he was sometimes scrubbed with “the kind of brush one uses in a bath to remove stubborn dirt” to induce pain. In July 2002, the report says, a C.I.A. interrogator grabbed a detainee’s neck to restrict the prisoner’s carotid artery until he began to faint. Another officer then “shook the detainee to wake him,” and the “pressure point” technique was repeated twice more.

Interrogators also staged a mock execution in 2002 to intimidate a detainee. C.I.A. officers began screaming outside the room where he was being interrogated. When leaving the room, he “passed a guard who was dressed as a hooded detainee, lying motionless on the ground, and made to appear as if he had been shot to death.”

In 2003, C.I.A. officers began using another technique — called “water dousing” — that involved laying a detainee on a plastic sheet and pouring water over him for 10 to 15 minutes.

According to the report, an interrogator believed this was an effective technique, and sent a cable back to C.I.A. headquarters requesting guidelines.

A return cable explained that a detainee “must be placed on a towel or sheet, may not be placed naked on the bare cement floor, and the air temperature must exceed 65 degrees if the detainee will not be dried immediately.”

nytimes.com

Now, in all of these techniques, not one of them involved separation of one’s head from one’s body- it is not the job of the CIA to be gentle, and I do not want to place undue restrictions on them. Would I like to endure this treatment? Oh hell no- but then, I am not the one who is trying to wage terrorism against soldiers of the United States, or wanting to commit terror attacks in the US against innocent men, women, and children. These people do, and they should not be treated gently- they should be ground down until we have gotten every bit of information we can, and they are nothing but empty, blubbering husks of flesh that we can safely discard.

Then we can take them back to their country of origin and dump them into the kind and gentle hands of others who might like to speak with them also.

Now that is justice.
Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/new-miss-california-has-same-opinion-as-old/.

Carrie Prejean was unceremoniously dumped as Miss California because she gave an answer to a question that was not satisfactory to the gay guy who asked it. She answered Perez Hilton’s question about marriage by saying she believed that marriage was between a man and a woman. That answer is, no doubt, the reason she lost the Miss USA title. I know Donald Trump said differently but he is lying. The people involved are such unprofessional cowards that they did not even tell her she was fired. She found out when someone from the media called to get a comment from her.

The interesting thing is that Prejean gave the same answer that Barack Obama did when he faced a similar question. Joe Biden holds the same view as do many other liberals. The interesting thing is that the young lady who replaced Prejean, runner-up Tami Farrell, holds the same view:

[Prejean] went out and said that a marriage is between a man and a woman. Do you share that view?”

Farrell responded in the affirmative with a simple, “Uh huh.”

“You do, OK,” said Cavuto.

Farrell quickly added: “I don’t think that I have the right or anybody has a right to tell somebody who they can or can’t love. And I think that this is a civil rights issue. And I think that the right thing to do is let the voters decide.” WND

So Big Dog, how do you say Prejean was fired for her answer when her replacement holds the same view?

The official story is that Prejean was fired by Trump because she did not live up to her contract. Prejean claims this is not true and that she followed the contract to the letter of the law. She also claims that the people who handled her (with regard to her obligations) were trying to get her to make appearances and do things that were objectionable to her. She claims that she was asked if she would do a semi-nude layout for Playboy and she said she did not want to do that and that they were trying to set her up to be fired.

She claims to have been asked to attend same sex partner rallies and other gay events. She stated that she did not think it was wise to do that because right now tensions are still pretty high. She did not say she would not do it at all. I agree with her, do it later when people are not in as much of a snit. She would go and get booed and they would make a scene in order to embarrass her and she knew that. It would appear as if the handlers were trying to get her fired.

People do not have to like the answer she gave but it was not a harsh answer and it was not a condemning answer. She answered it politely and she spoke her own truth. Whether one opposes gay marriage or not there was no reason for her to be treated this way. There was especially no reason for that limp wristed twit Hilton to treat her that way. Prejean could have slapped him from one side of California to the other but she did not.

Even in dismissal Prejean was pleasant and polite and she thanked the people involved and she even thanked Trump. She had a target on her back because she said the same thing Obama did but she is not a liberal.

I look for a lawsuit to come out of this and if all goes well she can put Trump in another bankruptcy.

As for Perez Hilton, if he does not like the answers then maybe he should slip into one of his dresses and enter the contest so he can answer the questions himself.
