Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/obama-and-i-have-something-in-common/.

It took about two years but I finally found something that Barack Obama and I have in common. We both wish he was still anonymous. Obama recently said that he loves his time in the White House (why not, it is a big perk to him and his family) but that he wishes he was still anonymous:

“I just miss – I miss being anonymous,” he said at the meeting in the White House. “I miss Saturday morning, rolling out of bed, not shaving, getting into my car with my girls, driving to the supermarket, squeezing the fruit, getting my car washed, taking walks. I can’t take a walk.” The Columbus Dispatch

Obama laments that the rigors of his job mean he can’t get up and decide not to shave and then take his daughter to the grocery store where he can squeeze fruits and check out produce. He is upset that he can’t even take a walk (though he walks a lot on golf courses).

I too miss his anonymity. I had not heard of this guy before the 2004 Democratic National Convention where he made a big name for himself because he can give a speech (nothing much has changed there). I wish we had never heard of this Socialist rookie and that he had remained a rabble rousing community organizer working with union thugs to scam taxpayers out of their hard earned money (nothing has changed there except the scale).

So finally Obama and I have something in common.

I do wonder why, if he misses his privacy so much, he decided to run for reelection.

But I think we can help the fellow out. He laments that he can’t take a walk.

How about we make him take a walk in November of 2012?

Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/obama-i-need-to-earn-troops-trust/.

Back during the campaign Obama was interviewed and he said that he would have to earn the troops’ trust. I wrote at that time that this would be hard for him to do. He has never supported the war, he has never supported the troops surge and to this day he refuses to admit it was a failure. In fact, when one listens to him speak, as he did at Camp Lejuene, one can’t help thinking he is taking credit for all the good stuff.

Obama said he had to earn the troops’ trust but he first might want to work on gaining their respect. Obama received a lukewarm, if that, response when he visited Lejuene. There were golf claps but the speech, as one commenter at BlackFive noted, had pauses in it where it looked like Obama stopped for applause but the troops did not respond to, what appeared to be applause, lines. People on the stage clapped and then the light applause trickled back through the place. It was not sustained. George Bush never received that kind of welcome. Here is a short video that compares the kind of reception Bush received with that The Evil One got.

John Kerry might think the troops are stupid and uneducated and that is why they are in Iraq but they know a poser when they see one. They were respectful enough of the office to lightly clap but that is all they did. For Bush the reception was warm and loud. God Bless these Marines. They are tough, wise, ready to fight and they love America. They are all the things Obama is not.

There were all these stories about troops giving more money to Obama and they believed in him. No one can really know who gave what because Obama accepted money from all over the world and there was no real accountability. He cooked the books in the campaign like he is cooking them now.

I doubt the troops gave him more money but one thing is certain, they did not give him much of a reception. They obviously don’t care for him and they don’t respect him. They respect the office and they acted professionally but it was not what anyone would call a rousing endorsement.

I wonder if he will wait a while before he invades another military post. That rebuke had to sting.

The troops want a Commander in Chief and instead got a Community Organizer in Chief.

Big Dog Salute to BlackFive. There are a couple of other good videos there as well.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/community-organizer-equals-racism-new-talking-point/.

The attacks against John McCain and Sarah Palin have been coordinated. The Obama campaign sends out the talking points and the surrogates all harp on the same issue. The public is supposed to believe that all these liberal twits came up with the same idea at the same time. Governor Paterson of New York today told people that McCain’s and Palin’s use of the words community organizer were code word for black and were racist remarks. It is a sure sign that Obama is in trouble because he is telling his surrogates to play the race card.

A commenter on Ben Smith’s blog reported this about the recently demoted Chris Matthews:

Yesterday Chris Matthews on Hardball mused that when Guliani made light of Obama’s “community organizer” background, he was secretly playing the race card.

Sure, Matthews said Giuliani but he has to mix it up a bit so they do not appear to be the mindless drones that they are.

My question is, are there not white community organizers? Is that job some sort of affirmative action set aside that only black people can perform? I have not heard that being a community organizer was solely a black person’s job.

Since I assume white people can do that job (and do it everyday) I can only assume that Paterson is the racist. He automatically assumes that white people would not or could not do the job and that it is reserved for blacks. That makes him the actual racist.

The Obama campaign is desperate. The assumed coronation is now in jeopardy. Obama is not happy at all to be behind and it looks like the decision to forgo public funds will hamstring him and the decision not to select Hillary will burn him. He might not get what he needs. He is striking out like a treed raccoon.

In any event, keep an eye on the news. Notice how many surrogates use the same phrases or make the same arguments. It goes to the media wing of his campaign (the MSM) and then it goes to other prominent Democrats and liberal talk show hosts and pretty soon they are all parroting the same thing. Palin didn’t really have that kid, she belonged to a secret secession society, she was trying to ban books, she wanted to make schools teach creationism. As soon as it hits the surrogates they all say it.

It is a sign that things are not well in liberal land. Obama is reeling from what is supposed to be an easy win.

He might win in November but he will be bloodied when he crosses the finish line.
