Birther Of A Controversy

I have been out of play for a few days as I was away conducing business. I have been catching up on some chores and reading the news that I missed and I have to say that there is a lot of nonsense going on. I know, what makes this nonsense any different than the nonsense any other day?

I read that Mitt Romney made a joke about birth certificates and that got the Obama regime’s collective shorts in a bunch. Romney was in Michigan and he said that he and his wife were born there and no one has asked to see his birth certificate because they know he was born there.
The Narcissist in Chief and his peeps took to Twitter to respond about the negative attack. The Socialists in the regime, in my opinion, overreacted to this quip from Romney.
Was Romney reigniting the birther debate? Who knows? Romney claims his reference was only to him and his wife and from the video it appears that way. If others read something into it, well…..
The Obama media is not too happy about this and have been asking if this is civil discourse and if it was a swipe at the sainted one.
Who cares? Obama needs to put his big boy pants on and suck it up.
In the past few weeks the Obama camp has called Romney a felon and made the claim that Romney has not paid taxes for the past decade (and yes Obamabots, both of those claims were made regardless of how many times you and Barry deny it).
Where was the media uproar over those claims? Where was the questioning of Obama and his mouth pieces regarding their civility? It was nowhere to be found because the media are part of team Obama. They cover for him, lie for him and ensure he gets favorable press because the media have stopped being impartial and are part of the Democrat team.
For what it is worth, Obama is not natural born regardless of where he was actually born because the person he claims is his father was not a US citizen. Even if he admits that Frank Marshall Davis was his daddy the paperwork says otherwise so barring any further information, that which has been provided shows Obama is not natural born.
In any event, the worst thing that happened is that Romney had some fun at Obama’s expense.
Of course the Obamatrons did not see it that way and they went ballistic. This is because they are losing and things are not looking good for them. They know their days are numbered and they are fighting back like cornered animals. This will get worse as things continue to slide downward for Obama and he will get riled even more quickly over little nonsensical things.
Good. If all it takes to get his boxers in a bunch is to make fun of him then we need to keep that pressure on.
We cannot afford four more years of this usurper and in November we can correct this mistake.
January 2013 will be the end of an error.
As an aside, did you notice that the Democrats keep demanding records from Romney including decades worth of tax returns but when anyone mentions Obama’s paperwork, like a birth certificate, the wheels come off the cart and all of the sudden it is dirty politics? If Obama’s birth and NBC status were so obvious there would not be so much confusion and he would not have spent millions to keep it all covered up.

Why Would Birther Issue Matter?

The Dem Whip, James Clyburn, is worried that if the Republicans regain control they will issue birther subpoenas which will grind the government to a halt.
House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) warned Republicans will investigate President Obama’s birthplace if they take over Congress.
Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in the House, said Republicans will grind the government to a halt by issuing subpoenas against the Obama administration over a number of issues if they take power. He predicted that “gridlock” in Congress would “define” Obama’s first term if Republicans win the House, but expressed confidence his party would prevail. The Hill
Before I get to the main point, it would not be a bad thing for government to grind to a halt. The less they can do the better it is for us. The only safer time is when they are not in session.
As for the issue that concerns Clyburn, why does it matter and why would it grind things to a halt? I don’t think that these so called birther subpoenas will be issued but let us assume they will be. Why would it have such a devastating effect on Congress and the government?
If a subpoena were issued then the appropriate documentation could be produced and the matter laid to rest. If it so happens that Obama has his papers in order then it would become a moot point and make some folks in Congress look rather foolish. Since Democrats keep telling us all is in order, how could this be a negative for them? They could campaign for two years on the folly of the birther subpoenas.
Is there some other reason that Clyburn is worried? Grinding government to a halt is not a concern because it can be solved in a few moments so why would Clyburn worry? Why use this tact to scare people into voting against Republicans? This concern makes it look like Clyburn is saying; “Don’t vote for them because if they take control they will find out the truth about Obama.”
I just don’t understand the reasoning. It sounds more like a concern about what will be discovered should these alleged subpoenas be issued rather than any concern about halting government.
What does James Clyburn know that we don’t?

What Does Newsweek Know That We Don’t?

Newsweek is one of the lamestream media mouthpieces for Barack Obama and the Democrats. Given that this periodical is a firm supporter of the liberal/progressive destruction of America it is quite surprising to see this cover. Look at what it has printed on it:
The Making of a
Terrorist Coddling
Warmongering
Wall Street Loving
Socialistic
Godless
Muslim
President
*Who isn’t actually any of those things
If Obama isn’t actually any of these things then it means Newsweek is saying he is not the President. What does Newsweek know that we don’t?
This is quite a dilemma for the magazine. Newsweek cannot back off this and say it was mistaken about the president part or it admits that a mistake appears on the lost and if one mistake appears then there could be more than one. Newsweek cannot fix this problem without admitting that it could be in error on any item on the list and if it lets the list stand then it is admitting that Obama is not president, at least in the eyes of the people who made the cover.
Funny how things like this work out. In its eagerness to defend Obama the magazine actually insulted him. This is what happens when liberal/progressives live their lives of lies.
In the same spirit of living a lie, Obama was asked why so many people think he is a Muslim. He answered by saying he can’t go around with his birth certificate attached to his forehead. What does his birth certificate have to do with whether people believe he is a Muslim or not? Was Obama throwing the birther issue into the equation because racist and bigot no longer work or was he preoccupied with this issue?
I don’t know and I don’t care but I do know Don Surber had it right.
The birth certificate attached to his forehead would be better than the big L that is currently there…
