More Fuel For The “Birthers”

The people who think Barack Obama was not born in the US are negatively referred to as “birthers.” They believe that Barack Obama was not born in the US and if he was that he has dual citizenship as a British subject because his father was a British subject. There have been many inquiries into this and they have been stymied by the Obama regime as a lot of money has been spent to keep the long form birth certificate from being released.

The new Governor of Hawaii has vowed to put an end to these stories by releasing information that proves Obama was born in Hawaii and is thus, an American citizen.

When this controversy was brewing a Hawaii state official claimed that documentation exists that shows Obama is a US citizen. Snopes reports that Hawaii officials have verified that Obama has a birth certificate on file which was enough for them to label the issue as false (that Obama is not a natural born citizen). The issue is cloudy because Hawaiian laws at the time of his birth allowed the registration of births that did not take place in Hawaii. The newspaper announcements of the birth would have been triggered by the registration and do not necessarily indicate he was born there.

Snopes is not the only one to report that there is a real birth certificate.

There is a problem in all of this because Governor Abercrombie, who said he would release information, now says that they have not been able to locate a long form birth certificate. He claims there is a written entry of the birth in the archives (which would have been done if the birth were merely recorded in accordance with the law of the time) but that there is no birth certificate. A written entry later entered into a database would generate the COLB that has been passed off as proof he was born there.

This will further fuel the issue because the “birthers” have claimed this was the case all along. Now the question will be, if state officials verified a birth certificate (as per Snopes and those official’s own statements), where is it? It could not have simply disappeared and we have been told that no one ordered his birth certificate be handled any differently than the birth certificates of others. Once again, where is it?

Perhaps Dr. Fukino, who verified Obama’s citizenship, only used the archive entry and gave a misleading statement about it. Perhaps Snopes and others inferred more from her statement than was actually stated. But there is a problem with this as well because Fukino earlier reported that there was indeed a birth certificate:

“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures,” Fukino said. [emphasis mine] KITV ABC

So the question remains, if there was a birth certificate in 2008, where is it now? Notice that Fukino said that it was in accordance with state policies and procedures. If Fukino meant those in place when Obama was born then it might very well be a recorded birth.

Even though Abercrombie cannot find the birth certificate that Fukino claims to have seen, we are supposed to take comfort in his statement that anyone who wants to know the truth should just ask him. He, after all, says he was there. The problem is that he lied when he made the original statement because he says he was there and then says he was not at the hospital. What he likely meant is that he was in Hawaii at the time and then some period later he saw the young lad. He cannot claim to have witnessed the birth (he already said otherwise) and he cannot expect people to just take his word for it.

He is an Obama supporter and would lie through his teeth. Hell, he is a politician so you know he is lying when his lips are moving. No, I think I will go by the Ronald Reagan policy of trust but verify and the trust part is in question because I do not trust any of them.

A contradiction exists because one official claims to have verified a birth certificate exists and one claims it cannot be found. This is a problem and adds fuel to the fire.

It is looking more and more like no one can prove Obama was born in the US.

As for me, I just want to see the proof. I hold him to the same standard expected of me when I was hired (I had to show my birth certificate) and when my kids registered for little league (I had to show their birth certificates).

Until such time, I remain skeptical. Call me a birther if you must but I don’t think it is too much to expect proof of any claim.

And one’s word, particularly the word of a politician, is not proof.

What Is Governor Abercrombie’s Game?

Barack Obama’s records are held tighter than state secrets and if we applied the same security to our sensitive documents as he has to his records Julian Assange would not be a household name. Newly elected Hawaiian Governor Neil Abercrombie wants to put an end to one of the issues that has plagued Obama and that is the issue of his birth.

Abercrombie said he will look for a way to get the information out so that it will end the controversy once and for all.

Of course Abercrombie is not a disinterested party and has boldly claimed that he knows Obama was born in Hawaii. The problem with Abercrombie is that he contradicted himself in his statement attesting to Obama’s birth. The 72 year old claims to have been friends with Obama’s parents and stated that he was here for the birth:

“Maybe I’m the only one in the country that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, ‘I was here when that baby was born.” Yahoo News

From a statement like that one can only conclude that Abercrombie was at the hospital and saw Obama’s mother go into the delivery room and later appear with a child. That is the only possible conclusion from a statement that he was “here for the birth.” It would make no sense to assume he meant in Hawaii because a lot of people were in Hawaii then and have no personal knowledge of the event which negates the claim to being the only person who can look you in the eye and make such a claim. Abercrombie gave the impression he was at the hospital.

But later in the article Abercrombie says he saw young Barry and his family at social events but that he was not at the hospital when Obama was born.

Abercrombie, 72, has said he remembers seeing Obama as a child with his parents at social events, although he acknowledged that he didn’t see his parents with their newborn son at the hospital. [emphasis mine BD]

So which is it? Was he here (at the hospital) or was he not? How can he say he was the only one here (meaning at the hospital) but then say he was not at the hospital?

Obama was born in August of 1961 and I was born before that date so I could say I was here when he was born depending on what the word here means.

I think there is no doubt he wanted to give the impression that he witnessed the birth.

But if he was never at the hospital that could not possibly be true…

Maybe Abercrombie did not see them at the hospital but was there for the birth. After all, wasn’t Obama born in a stall and placed in a manger?

What Does Newsweek Know That We Don’t?

Newsweek is one of the lamestream media mouthpieces for Barack Obama and the Democrats. Given that this periodical is a firm supporter of the liberal/progressive destruction of America it is quite surprising to see this cover. Look at what it has printed on it:

The Making of a
Terrorist Coddling
Warmongering
Wall Street Loving
Socialistic
Godless
Muslim
President

*Who isn’t actually any of those things

If Obama isn’t actually any of these things then it means Newsweek is saying he is not the President. What does Newsweek know that we don’t?

This is quite a dilemma for the magazine. Newsweek cannot back off this and say it was mistaken about the president part or it admits that a mistake appears on the lost and if one mistake appears then there could be more than one. Newsweek cannot fix this problem without admitting that it could be in error on any item on the list and if it lets the list stand then it is admitting that Obama is not president, at least in the eyes of the people who made the cover.

Funny how things like this work out. In its eagerness to defend Obama the magazine actually insulted him. This is what happens when liberal/progressives live their lives of lies.

In the same spirit of living a lie, Obama was asked why so many people think he is a Muslim. He answered by saying he can’t go around with his birth certificate attached to his forehead. What does his birth certificate have to do with whether people believe he is a Muslim or not? Was Obama throwing the birther issue into the equation because racist and bigot no longer work or was he preoccupied with this issue?

I don’t know and I don’t care but I do know Don Surber had it right.

The birth certificate attached to his forehead would be better than the big L that is currently there…

Obama’s Fake Birth Certificate

The Free Republic website was shut down today and remains down after a posting about Barack Obama’s birth certificate. I am unclear as to whether the website went down due to a huge amount of traffic or if it went down due to other reasons.

In any event, Gateway Pundit and Citizen Wells are reporting why this happened. Evidently, someone claims to have helped Devorah Adler, a political consultant and opposition research specialist for the Democratic National Committee in the United States, forge a birth certificate for Barack Obama. It is the forged certificate that was used by Fact Check.

“My name is Chanise Foxx. I work at a office supply store in Kenwood, IL. After nearly 3 years of silence and death threats to me and my family to stay quiet, I am compelled to come forward and tell the world my secret.

“I helped Obama campaign staffer Divorah Adler create a fake birth certificate for use in the famous Fact Check story to prove the world of Obama’s birth in the 2008 election. Divorah approached me in early 2007 and held onto the birth certificate until she released it in August 2008.

“As I’ve been making fake IDs part-time for local college students for about eight years now, faking a birth certificate was actually quite easy. Our first step was to get our hands on someone else’s birth certificate from Hawaii. We then created the stationary to match.

“Next, we had to create an embossed stamp and rubber signature stamp for Hawaiian officials. With the help of a high-resolution scanner at the store, I did most of my work at night when the place was vacant…””

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. If Chanise Foxx is a real person (and remains alive) it would be interesting to see her explain how (and why) she did what she claims and to see if she has any proof that she did it and of Adler’s involvement.

If any of this pans out it would make for some interesting drama in the weeks ahead.

Of course, this could be more Obama subterfuge to make people look like they are crazy.

He could clear it all up with $10 but he is too busy working on the health care takeover.

Let’s see how this plays out. Pop the popcorn and sit back.

The Government Will Protect Your Information

The US government is moving to impose health care reform on citizens against their will. People will be forced to buy health insurance, the first time in history a person had to purchase something to be a legal citizen. The 60% of us who pay income taxes will end up paying for the health care of the 40% that do not until government realizes that it must start taxing down the line in order to afford the albatross it is imposing.

Government will also make our medical records electronic so that they can be accessed by health care professionals all around. The government will also allow the IRS and other federal agencies to access our records to verify our eligibility. Don’t worry, the government assures us that our records will be safe and that certain things like whether one had an abortion will be left out of the records (because they know the records will be infiltrated).

The government is able to keep us secure. We will be given the same security as Obama himself who is guarded by thousands of armed agents and security professionals who ensure that he is always safe. So remember, the same government that allowed Obama’s security to be breached will be in charge of securing your medical records.

Michaele and Tareq Salahi posed as guests to the State Dinner honoring India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held at the White House. The Salahi’s were able to gain entry to the event even though they did not have an invitation, were not on the guest list, and were not in the data base of people cleared to enter such events. Basically, these two were able to get past all the security designed to keep Obama safe and they were able to have their pictures taken with Obama and Biden. Don’t you feel safe knowing your medical records will be protected by the same level of scrutiny that protects Obama?

Obama wants an investigation into the event to see how they were allowed to enter. No doubt their name played some part of this. There is no doubt that Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones would never have been allowed to enter. The diversity police had to let the exotically named Salahi’s in to the event. If they had meant to do harm to Obama and Biden there is little the Secret Service could have done to prevent it. This government is the same group of people responsible for our national security. Is there any question as to why these people were able to enter so easily?

It is possible that this couple will face prosecution for what they did. I ask, is what they did any different than illegals crossing our border? Why should this couple be prosecuted for entering a house that belongs to the American citizen when our government allows that to happen on a larger scale each and every day? Why should we punish the Salahis when we will not punish those who enter this country illegally? Since Obama and the Democrats want to reward illegals with citizenship then we should give the Salahis some kind of reward as well. All they did was get past security to enter a house that belongs to Americans. So they slipped past security, people do that every day on our southern border.

But not to worry, this same security minded government will protect your medical information with the same diligence that it protects Obama. But keep in mind that our government has people like Patrick Leahy who leak secrets to the media. The New York Times routinely published our secrets and helped our enemies in the war on terror. The information came from somewhere inside the government.

If you run for office and have some medical condition that could be embarrassing to you as a candidate there is no doubt it will be leaked to the papers. Obama had court records unsealed in order to embarrass and beat his opponents in Illinois. Is there any doubt that medical records will be part of any opposition research?

The only way to ensure that our records are safe is not to give them the same security as Obama, but to give them the same security as Obama’s long form birth certificate.

Or, scrap this health care overhaul and start fresh to enact common sense reform.

In November of 2010 we need to purge the government of those who are working against our desires.
