Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/we-know-what-it-feels-like-being-told-to-submit/.

Joe Biden was out trying to trump up support for Stimulus II, Obama’s second attempt at doing the same thing that did not work the last time. The guy who spent nearly a trillion dollars on a stimulus for “shovel ready jobs” that turned out not to be shovel ready wants you to believe that a second stimulus will put people to work at shovel ready jobs.

So Biden is talking about crime statistics (which were all fabricated) and he discussed rape and gun crimes going up when there are fewer police officers. He said that these crimes would go up even more without Stimulus II and that he wished those who oppose knew what it was like:

I wish these guys who thought it was temporary, I wish they had some notion of what it was like to be on the other side of a gun, or [to have] a 200-pound man standing over you, telling you to submit,” Biden told a crowd at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on Tuesday, adding, “Folks, it matter, it matters.” The Lonely Conservative

I don’t know how much Obama weighs so I can’t attest to the 200 pound man involved but I do know what it is like to have a big eared bean pole standing over me telling me to submit.

Obama wants Stimulus II to pay off his union buddies. He wants to use more taxpayer money to send to states so they can use it to fill gaps in their budgets (which is what happened in Stimulus I). He has been running around demanding that his bill be passed. Chants of pass the bill come from him and his adoring flocks as they demand that we submit to Obama’s wishes.

Obama has taken to ridiculing Republicans even though some of his Democrats are not on board with Stimulus II. He blames Republicans even though the Democrat controlled Senate can’t get the bill passed. Democrats will cry about filibuster threats (karma is a beyatch) but Republicans are doing nothing more than following the rules and the will of their constituents. That is what they are supposed to do. Democrats had no problems doing that when they were the minority party so they will just have to live with it.

So we have Obama demanding that we submit and he is doing it by using fear about fewer police officers and firefighters (at the point of the metaphorical gun) and he is insulting the intelligence of people who oppose by insisting they are not bright enough to understand it so they want to break it up into smaller pieces. We understand it and don’t like it but that won’t stop Obama from trying to force us to submit.

Obamacare is another example where a majority of the population opposed the legislation and it was rammed through against our wishes. We were FORCED to submit to the desires of the Socialist Democrats.

So yes Joe, we know what it is like. The difference is we are tough enough to stand up to the man standing over us and given the number of guns purchased in this country it is unlikely we will stare down a gun unless we live in an area controlled by liberals.

We need to kill the legislation because it will not do anything to create jobs (government does not create jobs). It will only allow states to keep government employees (union employees) employed by using our tax dollars to make up for the state’s inept management.

Joe, we know buddy. It does matter folks and it matters when we vote next November.

I am part of the Occupy crowd. Occupy the White House in 2012.

And send Barry Obama and Sheriff Joe packing…

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/was-debt-ceiling-deal-good-or-bad/.

The debt ceiling deal that the Congress passed a few weeks ago allegedly averted disaster and stopped the world from coming to an end. At least this is what they would have us believe given all the hype leading up to the final passage. Obama was presented with a bill that would have cut 4 trillion dollars which would have saved our credit rating but he decided that he did not like that and allowed his Senate Democrats to negotiate a lesser deal which resulted in our credit rating being downgraded. The reaction from the left and from establishment Republicans is that the TEA Party got what it wanted but the deal is not what the TEA Party wanted (the TEA Party wanted cut, cap, and balance) but the liberals and establishent Republicans needed someone to blame.

So blame they did and they tried to pin it all on the TEA Party. It was a bad deal, our credit got downgraded, how terrible this is. It is all the TEA Party’s fault!!

But now the Obama regime is sending Gaffe O-Matic Joe Bite Me Biden to China and Japan to sell this wonderful deal.

Vice President Biden will tout the debt ceiling deal during a trip to China and Japan, two holders of huge amounts of U.S. debt.

Biden will travel to top lender China on Wednesday and to Japan, the second-biggest holder of U.S. bonds, on Aug. 22.

The vice president “will be in a good position to talk about the very strong deficit package that we concluded here recently,” Undersecterary of the Treasury Lael Brainard told reporters Monday in comments previewing the vice president’s visit. The Hill [emphasis mine]

Now was the deficit package strong or was it a tragedy that resulted in our downgrade? To hear the Democrats talk after the downgrade one would think it was the worst deal ever to come from DC (I think it was a terrible deal) and of course they started calling this the TEA Party downgrade. So they send Bite Me Biden to China with his hat in his hand to tell the Chinese how great this deal is. Please China, lend us more money so we can pay you the interest we owe you with it. Please, lend us money so we can pay our bills. Please lend us money so Barack the Magnificent can lead on in this world. He was able to avert disaster and stop a second Great Depression with your money and he needs more to keep up the good work!!!

So what is the deal here? How do Democrats really feel? Was the deal terrible and resulted in a TEA Party downgrade or is it great and China should love it and lend us more money?

The article goes into detail to say that Barack the magnificent wanted more cuts but could not get them so he had to start with this very good deal but that is a lie. Obama was presented with cuts that were in the neighborhood he allegedly wanted and he ignored them.

All that aside, the Democrats can’t have it both ways. Either it was bad and they blame the TEA Party or it was good and China needs to like it. And if it is good then they need to give the TEA Party credit.

For the record, I only think the TEA Party gets credit for good because the Democrats blamed them for the bad. My personal feeling is that the deal was bad, it was because of Democrats and establishent Republicans that it was passed (most TEA Party members in Congress voted against) and it was because of them we had the downgrade.

But if it was a crap sandwich when we got our downgrade then it is one now and China should know that.

No matter how much Obama and Biden try to convince them it is only peas…

Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/civil-tone-from-biden-and-we-are-still-heading-for-ruin/.

Joe Bite Me Biden and the rest of the limp wristed Democrats would not call Nidal Hasan, the Muslim Terrorist Soldier who shot his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, a terrorist. We were cautioned not to jump to conclusions. A man screaming Allah Akbar and shooting American soldiers is not considered an act of terror and we were cautioned not to jump but let the elected people of this country oppose the careless spending of the government and they are terrorists. Democrats including Vice President Joe Biden called the TEA Party members of Congress terrorists (Biden denies saying it).

You see, these morons do not want civil discourse and they do not want debate. They want things their way and anyone who disagrees is a terrorist. The folks who had TEA Party support made pledges not to raise taxes and not to increase the debt ceiling unless it was linked to a balanced budget amendment. Those things are not taking place and the TEA Party members of Congress rejected the ideas. This makes them terrorists.

Yes, if you stand on your principles and keep your word then you are a terrorist. The Democrats will demonize Americans and caution us not to jump to conclusions when it concerns our enemies. Is there any doubt where their loyalties lie and that they will put politics before country? If demanding fiscal responsibility and demanding that our country spend less and be more prudent is what makes a terrorist then color me a terrorist but keep in mind that it is the people opposed to the ideas of smaller, more efficient government who are ruining this nation.

The debt limit vote still needs to pass the Senate and I am holding out hope that it will be stopped. The deal will increase taxes in 2012 when the Bush tax cuts expire and the tax increases under Obamacare take effect. The FICA lower taxes will also go back up. These are tax increases and they will hurt us. The CBO would rate extending the Bush tax cuts as costing us 5 trillion in revenue (this is how the goofy math is done in DC) so if the tax cuts expire is that not a 5 trillion dollar tax increase that must be offset by 5 trillion in cuts? And I want the cuts to be immediate and not over ten years. If you can’t spread tax increases and debt increases over ten years then I don’t want the cuts spread over that time.

The liberals said we had to raise the debt limit or we would default, lose our AAA rating and pay higher interest rates. First of all, the only way we could have defaulted is if Obama made a willful decision not to pay the people we borrowed money from. We have the income to do that so there is no way we could have defaulted on the debt. We would have had to cut some spending on programs that the government is not obligated to pay for and can stop at any time so there is no real issue there. We would not have defaulted. In addition, we will likely lose our AAA rating anyway. So we will have trillions more in debt, higher taxes and we will be paying higher interest rates as a result of the debt increase. Way to go Congress. I hope you libs are happy that you gave us the double whammy.

Did I say double whammy? I meant triple whammy. The libs said we could not default (their words, not mine) and that if we did, in addition to losing our credit rating we would also have a double dip recession. One commenter keeps saying it is the double dip I (and other conservatives) kept hoping for. That is not the truth. None of us wanted it to happen but we knew from history and the reckless spending that it likely would. Now it looks as if it is already here (and it took place well before this debt issue festered into what it is now). In other words, the Obama policies caused it and not the debt limit issue.

To top it all off the Republicans broke their pledge to post all legislation online 3 days prior to any vote. The debt limit bill was not posted for an entire day before it was voted upon. The Republican information on that part of the pledge indicates that it pertains to non emergency items but the original Pledge to America they signed contained no such language.

They broke their word and did not post it 3 days in advance. They have not been transparent and have been nothing more than what the Democrats are. Liars.

Well, not the ones who stood their ground and did not vote for this crappy deal.

America is going to suffer greatly and the Republicans gave Obama and the Democrats a way to blame it on the right. The Republicans gave in and will now, at the least, share the responsibility for the coming disaster. That is unless the Democrats find a way to blame it all on the right.

Stick to your principles and vote for what is right and what your constituents want. If you do that then you will be supported. if you don’t then you will be kicked to the curb.

Have the courage of your convictions and keep your word.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/did-obama-break-the-law/.

Perhaps I should have asked if he broke the law again. In this case though, the issue is whether Obama filmed a campaign ad inside the White House which could be a violation of election laws. In the ad, Obama is seen asking people to send $5.00 donations which will enter them in a raffle to win dinner with Obama, trip expenses included.

The video from Real Clear Politics shows a background that is strikingly similar in appearance to the background Obama uses for his weekly radio addresses right down to identical lamps.

I doubt this will be much of an issue in the Lamestream Media because they ignore all things embarrassing to Obama. Let Michele Bachmann make a mistake about John Wayne and she is a moron, a flake or some airhead but let Obama tout his awarding the Medal of Honor to a living soldier even though he actually awarded it posthumously and it is virtually ignored.

Reportedly, Obama was told of his gaffe two days later and his response was to ask how it was being reported and when he found out that allies in the media were putting the kibosh on it he was more at ease and decided it could be ignored. It was not until it got legs that he became concerned and it was not until his Chief of Staff raised the roof that he apologized to the family of the fallen soldier.

It is a shame that the Commander in Chief would make such a mistake but it is more of a shame that his first response was to ask how it was playing rather than to admit the mistake and work to make amends. The media are as shameful because they ignore these Obama gaffes and outright demonstrations of incompetence all the time while pointing out the minutest of mistakes by those who want to replace their messiah.

Palin might botch the Paul Revere saga but I bet she would not botch whether she awarded the MOH to a dead soldier or a live one.

Now I have to admit that the media might not understand any of this. Perhaps it thought Obama actually did see the dead soldier to whom he awarded the medal. After all, they ignored his past declarations that he could see the dead.

…the long list of fallen, many of whom I see here today…

So given that the media are willing accomplices in the crime that is Obama it is unlikely they will report on his violation of campaign laws.

Hell, they don’t report on when he breaks the law by waging war without Congressional approval. Even Obama and Biden know that what they did was wrong…

“The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.” – Sen. Barack Obama December 20, 2007.

Funny how when it was Bush, Obama was certain that he had no authority (even though Bush had Congressional approval). So Barack, what imminent threat does Libya pose to the US?

BIDEN FLASHBACK: ‘If he gives authorization to war… without Congressional approval, I will make it my business to impeach him!‘

Biden threatens to impeach Bush if he goes to Iran without Congressional approval and he says Iran is no threat to the US. Where is this lop-eared moron with regard to Obama and Libya? Come on Sheriff Joe, impeach Obama you hypocrite. Once again, what threat does Libya pose to the US?

The Obama regime is full of criminals, Communists, Socialists, and others generally in favor of changing America into a government run redistributer of wealth. It is supported by thugs who also break the law and who have no problem using lies and deceit to fool the liberal morons into voting Democrat.

It should surprise no one that the regime breaks the law. Obama does that routinely and his actions are concealed by the Lamestream Media either through willful distortion of the truth or by ignoring the crimes taking place.

I want to see the liberals who comment here ask Biden to start impeachment proceedings against Obama. They wanted it and supported it when Biden threatened to do it to Bush. Now that Obama has done what Biden said Bush would do, he needs to put his money where his bleached teeth are and impeach.

First, let’s address the violation of campaign laws by Obama. Does he have Buddhist Monks sending him money as well?

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/bidens-lies-are-a-government-invention/.

Joe “Gaff-o-matic” Biden is out on the campaign trail trying to scare up votes for his party in what is looking more and more like a TEANAMI heading for November 2nd. He is out there trying to make people believe that the things they have done are great and the idea is that we need the big government agenda of Obama in order to survive. According to Joe, government is so important that it was responsible for all the great inventions of the last 200 years. Joe had this to say:

“Every single great idea that has marked the 21st century, the 20th century and the 19th century has required government vision and government incentive.” New York Daily News

He went on to say that Lincoln paid people to lay railroad tracks and that private sector could not do that for 35 more years. The implication being that, of course, government can do it all and is better than the private sector. The reality is that if we spend enough money on something we could get anyone to do it. Why would a private business pay to lay track when government was shelling out loads of money to do it? If it had been done by private business it would have been cheaper, better done, and not been as much a burden to the taxpayer.

But what is Joe saying? He is telling us that every great idea in the last 200 years required government vision and incentive.

Here is a list of things that have been invented in the last 100 years or so. These inventions started as someone’s idea and eventually became reality. However, none of them required government vision or incentive:

The Radio

The zipper

The Gillette disposable razor

Television

penicillin

The ball point pen

SCUBA

The airplane

Bourbon

Baseball

The artificial heart

The light bulb

The computer

The telephone

The sewing machine

The telegraph

polio vaccine

Air conditioning

This is but a short list of things that were a vision that became reality because of the absence of government, not the presence of it. These were invented by people who were curious or who wanted to make money, or both. Some were the result of searching for solutions to certain needs. Bell invented the telephone while working on sound with regard to the deaf (he had deaf family members). They were not taking some vision from government and then getting an incentive from government to bring the government’s vision to reality.

These people worked on their own ideas and their own visions in order to invent a product that benefited mankind. In some cases, items are invented to circumvent government oppression. NASCAR would not have come about had it not been for prohibition and the tricked out cars used to run moonshine.

As Ronald Reagan said; “government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

So despite what Biden said, the great things we have were developed by people who had their own visions and who did not get incentives from government (though there are certainly things invented as a result of government intervention). About the only thing government is good at inventing are the stories its members continue to tell us. The biggest invention this week that required government vision and incentive was the lie Biden told.

One only needs read what Biden used as his example. If what he said was true then certainly he could have come up with an example that was more recent than the Civil War.

Democrats believe that government is the only entity that can do something and that we must allow it to get bigger and bigger so that it can continue doing things.

Unfortunately, most of what it does it is not supposed to do and the things it is supposed to do it does not do very well or in a cost effective manner.

But Biden wants you to vote for more of that.

Next Tuesday you get to tell Joe that the people of this country run the show. Let us wash the big government progressives out of government.

Let’s make it a TEANAMI.

Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/the-democrats-need-to-huddle/.

Looks like the Democrats need to get in a huddle and get the game plan set so they are all on the same sheet of music. While Joe Biden is out blaming George Bush and the Republicans for the country’s problems (they inherited a mess you know) Barack Obama is out blaming Congress. In this instance Obama is closer to the truth than Biden.

George Bush was president when things went bad but they did not go bad until the Democrats took over Congress. They have been in charge of both chambers since 2006 and the country rapidly deteriorated since that time.

I know there is an election coming and I know the Democrats are set to lose quite a few seats and possibly both chambers of Congress but they need to get their act together. Biden is predicting that his party will not lose control as he is expected to but it helps little when Obama is blaming the inaction of Congress for problems, a Congress controlled by his party.

My prediction, and it is at odds with Biden’s, is that the Democrats will lose the House and I am betting even odds that they will lose the Senate.

This might be best for Obama (and might explain why he blamed Congress) because a Republican Congress will make him look good as it did Clinton. Bill Clinton gets a lot of credit for things that were done as a reult of the actions of a Republican Congress and having a Republican Congress is probably why he got a second term.

Obama might be hoping to be so lucky and all indicators are that he will at least get the same opportunity Clinton had because despite Biden’s cheery outlook, the Democrats will lose control of the House.

I might be wrong though. After all, Biden was the one who called this the Summer of Recovery…

And we see how that is working out.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/pelosi-is-one-reason-we-are-in-trouble/.

Nancy Pelosi is a shrewd politician but she is as dumb as a box of rocks. Her entire existence revolves around getting reelected and staying in power so she can institute Socialist programs. She lies constantly in order to push her agenda.

Remember, it was Pelosi who claimed TEA Party members (and others dissenting) were not patriotic and were violent. She had heard the rhetoric before and it was dangerous. Of course, the violence has come from the left and the stuff she heard before with the violence was liberal on liberal violence where Harvey Milk was killed over a political dispute among politicians.

The other problem with Pelosi is that she has no concept of what it is to run a balanced budget. She has no concept of how the economy works. She has no concept in what it means to make payroll, to produce profit, to provide for employees or to combat government intrusiveness as most business people do. This is evident in her latest bout of moronitis.

Nancy Pelosi said that unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs. Pelosi said this about unemployment; “It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name.”

Only a moron would tell you that unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs. First of all, unemployment is paid out of taxpayer money and money paid in by employers. If people are receiving this money and spending it they are just redistributing taxpayer money from one pair of hands to another. Any sales tax collected will never reach the level of the taxes paid to fund unemployment.

Besides, when people on unemployment spend money in casinos and strip clubs, how many jobs are created and how is this activity needed in any way?

It is also well known that you get more of what you subsidize. If you pay people to be on unemployment then more people will be on unemployment. There are jobs being offered right now that pay $12 an hour and people are not applying because they get more on unemployment. Pelosi would have you believe that paying people to do absolutely nothing will motivate them to actually do something. As long as unemployment benefits (and the term benefit is misleading at best) are continually extended there is no incentive for people to get a job. If those benefits had an end date then people would be forced to find a job. By continually extending the end date the motivation to find a job is diminished.

Pelosi is a moron who does not understand this concept.

She is also working against what reasonable people can see. If unemployment is the fastest way to create jobs then why, after extension of benefits up to 99 weeks (nearly TWO YEARS), has unemployment not been fixed. If it is a way to create jobs then why are we losing jobs each month? Why is the unemployment rate hovering around 10% and why did we lose 125,000 jobs in June. Keep in mind that the unemployment rate would be much higher but the number of people who have quit looking and reportedly dropped out of the labor market has increased which means that there are fewer people looking for jobs so they are not counted in the numbers.

I wonder if they are receiving unemployment checks. We should be counting each and every person getting an unemployment check in the numbers even if they have stopped looking for work (I thought Pelosi said the checks would create employment).

If unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs then why has the Obama regime missed its job creation goals and why has Joe Biden been forced to eat his words about how many jobs would be created?

And perhaps the biggest question of all is, if unemployment benefits are the fastest way to create jobs why have we not seen massive numbers of jobs created? Millions of people are on unemployment and it has been a few years since this all started so we should see all these jobs that Pelosi says unemployment checks create.

No, it will not happen because unemployment will NOT create jobs. Spending taxpayer money will NOT create jobs. Government does not create private sector jobs which are the only jobs that will increase tax revenues (public sector jobs are paid for with taxes so they do not help anything).

If we want to create jobs and get people off unemployment then we need to decrease taxes and decrease government involvement in the private sector. We need to give certainty to the business world that it will not be punished when hiring employees. Government has failed to do this. It punishes businesses based on numbers of employees (if you have more than 50 employees you must provide this or that to them) and those things keep businesses from hiring people. Why hire 51 people and have to pay when you can make do with 50 and not pay?

Government is the problem, not the solution. And it continues to be the problem because it is imposing one rule after another and those rules are stifling the creation of jobs. Businesses are worried about the cost of cap and trade, health care takeover and the tax increases that will hit 1 January 2011. These will potentially cost money and businesses are not going to hire people when these business killing items are out there posing a real threat.

Government programs like these and unemployment are job killing measures.

Despite what that moron Nancy Pelosi says, unemployment checks do NOT create employment.

She cannot show this to be true because it is not. Once again, she is lying to people for political purposes.

But I have to wonder, if this is such an important issue (and if they are willing to compromise), why did Democrats go on their week long 4th of July vacation (they come back the 12th) without passing the measure to increase unemployment?

They refused a Republican compromise that would have required them to pay for at least some of the extended benefits (Democrats promised Pay Go meaning they would pay for everything they passed) and went on vacation instead.

Voters should remember this in November. Help Pelosi by putting lots and lots of Congress critters on unemployment.

Remember, she said it is the fastest way to create jobs.

Moron…

Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/another-news-round-up/.

Looks like Obama is not so keen on following his rules about lobbyists:

Despite the job title, McLaughlin wasn’t a registered lobbyist. Still, ethics rules created by an Obama executive order prohibit McLaughlin from “participat[ing] in any particular matter involving specific parties that is directly and substantially related to” Google. But the e-mails show McLaughlin has been involved with formulating policy that directly affects Google, regularly trading e-mails with Google’s “evangelist,” and lobbyist.

~snip~

And only when I followed up with a question about the e-mails with lobbyist Davidson did Weiss admit “they did violate the President’s Ethics Pledge,” and note that McLaughlin had been reprimanded. [emphasis mine] Washington Examiner

Well so much for the no lobbyists lobbying for their special interests. How’s that transparency thing working out for ya?

Iran blinks after much bluster:

Iran will not be sending a blockade-busting ship to Gaza in defiance of Israeli warnings, an Iranian lawmaker said Saturday, citing Israeli “restrictions.” Yahoo News

Iran was going to send the blockade buster to help get “humanitarian” aid ships through. Perhaps the idea of being sunk by the Israeli Navy did not appeal to Iran. Imagine the humiliation if that happened.

Maybe the Islamic radicals don’t care who is leading our country:

As for the revolutionary Islamists–be they al-Qaida, Hamas, Hizballah, the Taliban, and the Muslim Brotherhoods–or the radical regimes–be they Iran, Syria, the de facto Islamic Republic of Gaza, or others–all the U.S. governments are definitely the same. Indeed, they make this point explicitly in their declarations and media every day.

To them, the American people are “all the same” and the American governments are “all the same.” The argument between liberals and conservatives on this point is irrelevant. They hate the United States because of its values and they also hate the United States because of its policies. Gloria Center

While liberals love to exclaim that George Bush made the world, particularly the world of Islam, hate us, the reality is they hated us long before Bush was president. They bombed the WTC the first time under Clinton, attacked the Cole and other targets under Clinton and planned 9/11 under him. They do not like us no matter who is elected to lead us and they will continue to attack us until they are defeated.

How is that citizen of the world plan working out?

Another broken Obama promise? Gitmo remains open.

Stymied by political opposition and focused on competing priorities, the Obama administration has sidelined efforts to close the Guantánamo prison, making it unlikely that President Obama will fulfill his promise to close it before his term ends in 2013.

~snip~
“The president can’t just wave a magic wand to say that Gitmo will be closed,” said a senior administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss internal thinking on a sensitive issue. The New York Times

Obama can’t wave a magic wand and make things happen but he sure acted like it when, with much fanfare, he signed the Executive Order to close it within one year of him taking office. That pen was his magic wand and he waved as if his deeming it so would make it happen.

This is what you get when you put someone with no leadership experience in charge.

Joe Biden Admits they can’t recover the jobs.

Vice President Joe Biden gave a stark assessment of the economy today, telling an audience of supporters, “there’s no possibility to restore 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession.” CBS News

Biden goes on to do what has become the main theme of this regime, blame it all on Bush. That excuse is getting old. Hey Joe, the mess belongs to you and you and Obama got it because you convinced America you could fix things.

Now you admit that you can’t.

Is ACORN running the Census?

Two Census Bureau managers from a Brooklyn field office were fired after their bosses found they faked household surveys to meet deadlines, the Daily News learned.

Instead of pounding the pavement and knocking on doors, the corner-cutting people-counters mined the phone book and Internet to make up answers to questionnaires, regional director Tony Farthing said. NY Daily News

This census has been poorly run and has cost billions more than any previous census. Perhaps that is because the Obama regime is using numbers of census employees to artificially lower the unemployment rate. These people are counted as new jobs but will be gone in a few months.

The folks who did this should be prosecuted for falsifying a government record. This is what happens when a corrupt regime runs things.

Biden calls store manager a Smart ass. Custard’s last stand:

Joe Biden, VP of the Obama regime, was out getting a frozen custard (he thought he was getting ice cream) and when he asked how much he owed the manager said not to worry about it, “It’s on us.” Then the manager told Biden to lower our taxes and we will call it even. Biden told the man to say something nice instead of being a smart ass. I thought the request for lower taxes was saying something nice.

This is the disdain the regime has for the average guy on the street. If you think you are paying too much in taxes and express that thought you are being a smart ass. This is because the regime, with people like Biden who have NO business experience, think they know better than you. Shut up you serfs and quit being smart asses. We know what is best for you.

Video at Real Clear Politics

Extending an open hand to Iran:

CIA Director Leon Panetta says Iran probably has enough low-enriched uranium for two nuclear weapons, but that it likely would take two years to build the bombs.

Panetta also says he is doubtful that recent U.N. penalties will put an end to Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Yahoo News

It would seem as if the Obama doctrine of bowing to all the world leaders and extending an open hand to the bad people of the world has not paid off.

The Iranian leadership knows Obama is weak and they are pushing the limits. They have enough nuclear material for two bombs and will have those bombs in the near future (and probably sooner than the estimated two years).

How is that world experience working out for ya?

Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/you-know-it-is-bad-for-obama-when/.

You know it is bad for Obama and the Democrats when the talk of the weekend is the dueling Vice Presidents. Dick Cheney and Joe Biden traded shots at each other over the weekend over a number of things. Joe Biden said that he did not believe another 9/11 size terrorist attack on us (here at home) was likely.

“Look, let me put it this way. The idea of there being a massive attack in the United States like 9/11 is unlikely, in my view,” the vice president said. Info Wars

Biden accused Cheney of rewriting history or not being aware of what happened and then rewrote history himself when describing how wonderful the Obama administration has been. Listening to Biden one would think that a successful war was not waged during the Bush years and that the victory was entirely the result of Obama. Of course, one has to expect this as Biden and Obama have a game plan and that is to whine and blame Bush for everything.

Rudy Giuliani has been described as 9/11 plus a verb. Obama and Biden are best described as whine plus blame Bush. Thirty seconds into his speech today Obama blamed Bush. Obama blamed Bush and then lied about his own record (the stimulus created or saved 2 million jobs, it worked, blah, blah). It is the pattern. They figure if they keep blaming the last guy and lying about it on top, they will keep the attention off their failed policies (like the stimulus).

I happen to believe that blaming the last guy for every bad thing is a sign of poor leadership. Obama blames Bush and will not give him credit for any of the good that has been passed on (he certainly is quick to take credit for it). It is a shame because they sound like whining babies. George Bush did not blame Clinton for any problems that were passed on. Bill Clinton did not blame H W Bush for his problems and Reagan did not blame Carter for his problems. And to be fair, Carter did not blame Ford. They did all the blaming on the campaign trail, pointed out the problems in the beginning, maybe took a few veiled shots while explaining their plans and then moved on. None of the previous presidents have whined like Obama. He is a huge crybaby and not fit to lead.

As bad as it is to have all the headlines discussing a war of words between the old and new VPs, you know things are really going bad when the media points out things like the rising number of homeless on Obama’s watch. Usually, homelessness ceases to exist when a Democrat is in office. When Republicans are in office the newspapers print the stories about the number of homeless and how terrible it is. When a Democrat gets elected the MSM stops reporting on the homeless as if they magically got places to live. The tide is turning if the AP is reporting this:

Homelessness in rural and suburban America is straining shelters this winter as the economy founders and joblessness hovers near double digits—a “perfect storm of foreclosures, unemployment and a shortage of affordable housing,” in one official’s eyes.

The AP must not have gotten the “don’t mess with the messiah” memo because it reported this. The MSM got Obama elected. They were behind him, ignored his radical past, refused to vet him, and painted a better than reality picture of him. They have skin in the game and cannot lose their man. This is why you rarely see them reporting the number of war dead. When Bush was in office twits like Olberman and Matthews would have segments about the number of US service members killed. The names of the war dead would be scrolled on the TV screen. People had to be reminded of this day in and day out.

The military members who die on Obama’s watch are quietly reported. No names scrolled, no body count, no nothing. They must protect the messiah.

So it is very strange indeed that the AP would report on the homeless.

Then again, maybe they are Bush’s fault as well.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/joe-biden-on-iraq-then-and-now/.

Politicians are a special group of people who can say one thing on one day and the exact opposite on another. Obama has done it and so have many others. The latest is from VP Joe (nobody messes with Joe) Biden. Biden has an entirely different take on Iraq now than he did in 2002:

Joe Biden in 2002: “We have no choice but to eliminate the threat. This is a guy [Saddam Hussein] who is an extreme danger to the world.” [Real Clear Politics - Video]

We had no choice but to eliminate him. Admittedly, we could have gone in and just eliminated him and that might have solved the issue. Instead, after a lot of talk and diplomacy, we resumed the war with that country. We eliminated the threat that Biden referred to in 2002.

But now Nobody Messes with Joe says that what we did was not worth the price we paid.

Vice President Joe Biden says the Iraq war hasn’t been worth its “horrible price.” My Way News

There is no doubt that the price of the war has been horrible. Any time we lose members of our military it is horrible. It is also too much to lose just one person but was the victory worth the cost?

We got rid of the guy Biden said had to go and remember, no one is smarter on foreign policy than Joe, just ask him. We have a fairly stable country in Iraq that could grow to be a big ally and trade partner. It is on the path to self governance and freedom. The people who lived under the oppression of Hussein might see things differently than Biden. And remember, Biden said we had “NO CHOICE” but to eliminate Hussein. If we had no choice then cost is not a deciding factor.

It is one thing to lament at the price in blood and treasure but it is another to say the venture was not worth it. We entered WWII and liberated Europe after we were attacked at Pearl Harbor. We suffered nearly half as many US deaths in the D-Day invasion than in the entire Iraq War. Total deaths in WWII are much higher than they will ever be in Iraq so was the effort worth it?

According to Biden it might not have been.

The last thing the public needs is for its leaders to say that the price we paid in blood and treasure was not worth the outcome.

But Biden did say that it could be one of the major accomplishments of the administration.

Obama picked him because he is an insurance policy.
