Did Obama Get Thirty Pieces Of Silver?

Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver (Matthew 26:14-16). I wonder if Obama was paid that sum as well after he betrayed our allies in Israel by disclosing their nuclear weapons secrets.

There is a report on the Israeli program (the program includes assessments of other nations as well) that was produced in 1987. The document WAS classified until just recently.

It is no secret that Obama does not like Israel and he absolutely hates Prime Minister Netanyahu so much so he sent people and used taxpayer dollars to try and unseat him in the Israeli election.

That did not work so now Obama is getting vicious. The document was declassified last month and the regime had it published thus violating a long standing agreement not to disclose the information.

There is no doubt the release was aimed at harming Israel because the information regarding all the other countries and their nuclear programs has been redacted.

The actions of Obama are petulant and are not what one expects from a leader. He has disgraced this nation by stabbing an ally in the back.

There is nothing good that can come from releasing this information and Obama knows that. He knows it will embolden Israel’s enemies and will open the nation up to further harassment from its neighbors.

There are many things in this world that people can forgive but betrayal is not usually one of them. When someone betrays your trust it is hard to ever trust them again.

Obama might have intended to only harm the Israelis but he harmed this nation as well. How many other allies will look at this and wonder if Obama will betray them as well? How many nations (particularly Israel) who might have secret information about us will feel free to release that information and harm us? There are plenty of unintended consequences that will come from this and none of them will be good.

I have never understood how American Jews could support Democrats yet they continue to do so. I hope this is the final straw that will lead many of them out of the bondage that is the Democrat party.

Obama is a tyrant and I can only hope that when Netanyahu acts he does not hurt America. I do not think he is a petty leader like Obama so I doubt he would do anything to our nation like Obama did to his. But if he did who could really blame him?

I have an idea that might help Bibi respond and help America (and the world) while giving Obama what he deserves.

If any of your intelligence assets have copies of the documents Obama has locked up now would be a good time to release them. Birth certificate, college transcripts, college applications, passports and anything else you might have (or could get) would help the cause if they could see the light of day.

It is important to note that after Judas’ betrayal he returned the silver and hanged himself.

Did Obama hang (metaphorically) himself (and G-d forbid this nation) with this betrayal?

Good Thing He Is Not Up For Reelection Next Year

Ben Nelson bowed to his party against the wishes of his constituents on the health care takeover bill that was rammed through the Senate. Nelson is now seeing the result of his betrayal as a new Rasmussen poll finds that he trails a potential challenger by 31 points and the next election for Nelson is more than two years away.

Nelson has recorded a 30 second commercial to be aired during the Holiday Bowl game featuring Nebraska and Arizona. In the message Nelson will tell voters that he listened to them and he believes that this is a common sense approach. The poll indicates that they are not buying what Nelson has to sell and he must realize this or he would not be airing the commercial (which will also air a few times in the next couple of days).

Nelson is trying to convince people that he did what they wanted though they know he did not. The majority of people in his state did not want the health care bill but he bowed to pressure from Harry Reid and Barack Obama rather than paying heed to what the people wanted. The poll shows he was on the wrong side of the issue and if he really feels that he did the right thing then he should not worry about the election.

Julie Schmit-Albin, executive director of Nebraska Right to Life said that one has to wonder if Nelson misjudged the level of opposition from his constituents to this legislation or if he has decided not to “ever seek office again.”

The only thing Nelson has going for him is that he is not up for reelection until 2012 and maybe he felt safe because of that. A lot of things can happen by then but I am pretty sure voters will not forget how he betrayed them.

Nelson chose party over the people who put him in office and he will eventually pay a price for his decision.

Don’t think for one moment that any potential challengers will neglect to bring up Nelson’s vote throughout the entire campaign.

Good. This guy needs to go. He has no spine and he has no conviction.

Bubba’s Back

And the message is the same- there’s a “Vast, Right-wing Conspiracy” that is after the Resident- yes Virginia, the same conspiracy that chased Billy boy through the halls of the White House while he was “engaged” with Monica- the same “conspiracy” that put Republicans back in control of Congress, and derailed his flawed “Hillary- Care” health proposals.

Former President Bill Clinton told NBC’s David Gregory on “Meet the Press” that the so-called “vast right-wing conspiracy” still exists and is “as virulent as it was,” but has had its impact diminished by the nation’s changing demographics.

Gregory asked: “Your wife famously talked about the vast right wing conspiracy targeting you. As you look at this opposition on the right to President Obama, is it still there?”

The former president replied: “Oh, you bet. Sure it is. It’s not as strong as it was, because America has changed demographically. But it’s as virulent as it was. I mean, they’re saying things about him. You know, it’s like when they accused me of murder, and all that stuff they did. … But … it’s not really good for the Republicans and the country, what’s going on now. I mean, they may be hurting President Obama. They can take his numbers down. They can run his opposition up. But, fundamentally, he and his team have a positive agenda for America. Their agenda seems to be wanting him to fail.”

politico.com.

Yes, yes we do, although I am hardly a “conspiracy” here- I haven’t, as far as I am aware, “colluded” with anyone, but that apparently never stopped the vast left- wing paranoia that the Clintons have, and it seems as if this paranoia has infected the rest of the morons on the left- Pelosi, Reid, and the rest. What a shame.

Personally, I have not thought that what happened with Monica and Billy was a deal- killer. Now, lying under oath was- after all he was the president- if anyone is inextricably bound to the law, it would be him, or at least, that is what one is taught to believe, but then truth is a slippery thing for liberals- so many shades of gray- not to mention the definition of the word “is”.

If that is what constitutes a “Vast, Right- wing Conspiracy”, that is not much- but now that  the left has cheapened the word, “racist” by throwing that one around as often as they do, they needed to come up with another chestnut they could hurl, and they chose an oldie but goodie.

We have now abandoned allies, ceding superiority to Russia, and leaving the Poles and the Czechs to their own means of defense. Oh, what a warm and cuddly feeling they must have towards us now- I am informed the Poles wouldn’t even talk to Sec. Clinton when she called them, and I do not blame them at all- apparently we still write our treaties on napkins, ready to throw away at a moment’s notice. I am sure the Indians in America could have told the Poles something about this. One would think we had learned by now. The rest of our “allies” must be rather nervous now, and I certainly don’t blame them.

I mean, the “conspiracy” just envelops anyone who doesn’t like the agenda the left is touting, whether it is healthcare, energy, or some other “kumbaya” moment that is “settled science” or “settled debate” or something else the left insists is now no longer up for discussion.

Wrong- anytime something costs the American taxpayer as much as it will if all this passes, there will be debate- there will be pushback. That is only fair, as this will not only affect us as Americans financially, at a time when we can scarcely afford it, but it gives the government broad powers that are, at their roots, unconstitutional at best, and downright dictatorial at worst.

If genuine concern for the welfare of one’s country makes one a part of a “Right- wing Conspiracy”, then I will gladly plead guilty to that charge- in a heartbeat. What I will not do is stand idly by while people who want to tear this great country down from the inside are busy doing so.

We, as a country, have never had more challenges than we do now- and unfortunately, many of these challenges are home- grown, put in our path by those who wrongly believe that they know the world, when they never paid attention to history before- they just blithely believe that their blind certainty will carry the day, not understanding that there are outside forces, some of them masquerading as our friends and allies, who are just waiting for that moment of weakness to strike- anyone who believes otherwise is dangerously naive and should have no say in our government- they are just giving aid and comfort to our enemies, and that is treason- remember, ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Ignorance of the world is not an excuse either.

Not when you are in the government.

Decepti-Libs

As everyone goes to the movies this summer and buys tickets to this summer’s biggest blockbuster on the screen, there is a struggle every bit as titanic going on in Washington between Congress, the CIA, and the Resident, as to where the power actually resides.

This is a tale of betrayal, lies, and covert actions, as well as a struggle for yet more executive power.

This would be a comedy if we could play all the sound bites of Hussein claiming that then President Bush had overstepped his authority, and executive power needed to be scaled back. There are many of those- Hussein was very critical of executive power, but then at the time he was a slacker first- term newbie Senator, playing grown- up.

Oh, how the worm has turned- it is an axiom that no one who becomes president ever wants his power to be diminished, and Hussein is NOT an exception to this rule.

Add to this tale of woe, the turncoat spy within the CIA, “Deep Nose”, or as he is known in society, Leon Panneta, the snoop in charge of covertly dismantling the spy agency, at the time where we can least afford to do so- but that has never stopped liberals before (see: Carter years, 1976- 1979).

And to complete this trifecta of  incompetence, is Congress, who wants complete access to everything the CIA has, claiming that the CIA lied to Congress. The trouble with this is that Congress is an irresponsible, lying leaky body of people who have their own agendas, and probably would say anything to anybody for money- yes- that does make them whores in politics, but what else is new?

In a June 26 letter to Mr. Panetta discussing his testimony, Democrats said that the agency had “misled members” of Congress for eight years about the classified matters, which the letter did not disclose. “This is similar to other deceptions of which we are aware from other recent periods,” said the letter, made public late Wednesday by Representative Rush D. Holt, Democrat of New Jersey, one of the signers.

In an interview, Mr. Holt declined to reveal the nature of the C.I.A.’s alleged deceptions,. But he said, “We wouldn’t be doing this over a trivial matter.”

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Representative Silvestre Reyes, Democrat of Texas, referred to Mr. Panetta’s disclosure in a letter to the committee’s ranking Republican, Representative Peter Hoekstra of Michigan, Congressional Quarterly reported on Wednesday. Mr. Reyes wrote that the committee “has been misled, has not been provided full and complete notifications, and (in at least one occasion) was affirmatively lied to.”

nytimes.com

This is typical of the ankle- biters in Congress, and could usually be ignored as the trivial annoyance it usually is, but in this resolution, the committee is seeking less executive power in revelations to the full Congress, and Hussein doesn’t want that at all.

In a related development, President Obama threatened to veto the pending Intelligence Authorization Bill if it included a provision that would allow information about covert actions to be given to the entire House and Senate Intelligence Committees, rather than the so-called Gang of Eight — the Democratic and Republican leaders of both houses of Congress and the two Intelligence Committees.

A White House statement released on Wednesday said the proposed expansion of briefings would undermine “a long tradition spanning decades of comity between the branches regarding intelligence matters.” Democrats have complained that under President George W. Bush, entire programs were hidden from most committee members for years.

And then you have Leon Panetta, the stalking horse for the liberals who want to dismantle the CIA- This man is trying to have it both ways, leaking info to Congress, while working for the Resident.

In an interview yesterday, Reyes declined to expand upon the allegations in his letter, saying “it’s all classified information.” Late last night, he issued a statement crediting CIA Director Leon E. Panetta with bringing the issues to the committee’s attention at a June 24 briefing.

This is a complex game we have here, made more complex by Nanny Pelosi’s rambling accusation that the CIA had lied to her, when it could be verified that the CIA had in fact, told her everything she needed to know- she just, apparently, didn’t have the intelligence to keep the knowledge in her head.

Pelosi initiated the CIA feud when she accused the agency of intentionally misleading her, and not telling her about the use of waterboarding, in a September 2002 briefing on interrogations.

CIA documents released two months ago included notations indicating that Pelosi was informed at the 2002 briefing about waterboarding. Republicans have suggested Pelosi has not told the truth about her knowledge and support of the enhanced interrogation technique, an allegation they plan to repeat in today’s debate.

Well, this is going to play out with all the angst and tension of the play “King Lear”, on the national stage, showing our enemies just how like the Keystone Kops we are in real life. What a governmental SNAFU this has become, all because eventually, thieves fall out.

And boy oh boy, are they beginning to fall out now.
