Media Continues To Cover For Obama

While the media were obsessing over a $150,000 wardrobe the RNC bought for Sarah Palin to use (the clothes will go to charity when the campaign ends) and talking about how this money should not have been spent on her it ignored the lavish expense Barack Obama’s campaign spent on him. Obama used his campaign 757 airplane to fly to Hawaii to visit with his sick grandmother. No one can fault a guy for checking to see how his grandmother is doing after being under the bus for nearly a year but we can fault him for spending between $400,000 and $800,000 of his campaign money to do it.
Barack Obama should have taken a commercial flight or he should have chartered a smaller plane. In any event, the campaign should not have paid for this non campaign related trip. Did the campaign reimburse the government for the Secret Service who were obligated to go along? This was a strictly personal trip. The media ignored it while discussing clothing that was purchased for Palin to use.
But it is not unusual for the media to ignore the Savior. The leftist media have completely ignored Obama’s Socialist ideas. When Barack Obama told Joe the Plumber that he wanted to spread the wealth the media ignored it and attacked Joe. The media and some accomplices in government (using government computers) dug into Joe’s background more deeply than they have dared to venture into Obama’s. In fact, we now know more about a plumber who dared to ask a question than we do about a man who might become the next leader of this nation.
Obama’s spread the wealth comment was a public expression of what everyone with a brain already privately knew and that is, Obama likes Socialism/Marxism/Communism. He has not been extremely secretive about it. The 2001 interview that was recently discovered is very telling. Obama discusses redistributive wealth. In his book, Dreams of My Father, Obama discusses how he was drawn to Marxist professors:
“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully,” the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, “Dreams From My Father.” “The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.” Fox News
Obama has had close relationships with people who follow those philosophies. William Ayers, who Obama had more than a passing relationship with, is a Marxist professor and Obama not only served with him in professional capacities but has socialized with him as well. Obama’s political career was launched from Ayers’ house and Obama and Ayers attended a function honoring Rashid Khalidi who was the “mouthpiece” of Yasser Arafat.
That celebration was video taped and in it there are antisemitic remarks made by people attending, remarks which included a poem accusing Israel of terrorism and criticizing the US and its policies toward Israel. Rashid Khalidi is an antisemitic terrorist sympathizer who Obama described as a guy with whom he had engaged in a few conversations. The account of the night in question indicates that Obama was a frequent dinner guest of Khalidi.
We will likely not know much about this unless the LA Times decides to stop running cover for Obama and lives up to its journalistic responsibility by releasing the video. The LAT has claimed to have the video and it has written a story about it in the past but it refuses to allow the public to see the video. The video could be very damaging to Barack Obama because it will contradict some of the things he has said. It might show him with Ayers and it would most definitely show him with Khalidi. It will show him having a good time at an event that is a big Jew bash party.

NRO has an article about this and it asks a very interesting question. If there were a video of John McCain at a controversial event (like a party honoring some skinhead) and he was shown having a grand ole time with people in a manner that was unfavorable to him, do you really think the LAT would sit on it? That video would be on the Internet faster than Bill Clinton on an intern. But there is a double standard and Obama is definitely the candidate of the “objective” media.
I’ll go one further. If Sarah Palin had made a comment about John McCain being tested in the first 6 months of his presidency or if Palin had performed like Biden did in his two of his recent interviews, do you think she would be given the pass that the media have given him? Given how she has been treated since she entered this contest there can be no doubt as to what the answer is. She would be skewered for the interviews as she was with Gibson and Couric and the remark about being tested would be reported as a remark from an inexperienced candidate.
But let Biden be the one who interviews badly or says something stupid like the tested remark and the media ignore it. They are giving Biden a pass on everything so that Obama will not be harmed. The media did not spend this much time and effort on The One to have him lose this late in the game.
The media are in the tank for this guy and they will cover for him until the bitter end. They have failed in their responsibility to fully explore this candidate and to report honestly about him. They are, by their acts and words, an extension of his campaign and they will continue to work for him until this election is over.
The unfortunate part is that they have lost credibility and they have gone all in on a guy they know little about. The media have lost what little trust they have and the public will will hold them accountable for any post election discoveries that should have made in the last two years.
Obama’s past associations call his judgment into question and cast doubt on his stated feelings about, as Reverend Wright would say, the US of KKKA.
The people have the right to know but we will not get our information from places like the LAT. Is it any wonder the media are losing customers and firing staff? When a media outlet is guilty of journalistic malfeasance it is unlikely to last forever.
I just have not decided which one I want to see fold first, the LAT or the NYT…

William Ayers Is Still A Coward

Back in the 1960s William Ayers, in cowardly fashion, terrorized the nation with his band of misfits and malcontents by bombing buildings and killing police officers. Terrorism is nothing more than cowardice and people who participate in it are nothing more than cowards. It is easy to secretly attack innocent people without any worry that they will fight back. If Ayers and his buddies had any testicular fortitude they would have fought in the open.
Ever since Ayers became cannon fodder for the McCain campaign, William Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist, went into hiding. Rather than face the people who have questions about him, he decided to hide like the wimpy little coward that he is. Ayers’ response to the attention is that it is time for the GOP to get over it. I guess he thinks we should just forget the destruction, injuries, and deaths that he and his peeps caused. In Ayers’ mind, we should probably just get over 9/11.
Ayers is lamenting the attention that he has received since his fellow radical Barack Obama decided to run for the presidency. He cries that he receives endless mention by people like Bill O’Reilly. Ayers certainly wanted attention when he was attacking our government and the people of this nation. Ayers was certainly looking for attention when he declared war on this country and he certainly wanted attention when he was waging that war. He certainly wanted attention when his group devised the plan to blow up soldiers and their dates at Fort Dix. Thank God the bomb blew up and killed some of his people instead of our nation’s heroes.
Because of a technicality, Ayers was never prosecuted. He was jubilant when he said that he was guilty as sin and free as a bird. Yes, only in America.
Ayers slithered into a forum where he was the focus of attention of the 60 or so of the mind numbed Obama followers who came to hear him. The event was not open to reporters because Ayers is a coward. One did manage to sneak in and stated that there were laughs at “spreading the wealth” and the “Republican revolution.” If this appearance was like his others he spent time bashing the country and talking about the evils of capitalism. At the end of the appearance, he slithered out a back door where awaiting reporters were greeted with a “no comment”" as he was whisked away in a cab.
Ayers is a low life, scum sucking coward who attacked this country. The only sadness I have about his people being blown up is that all of them were not in the room went it went boom. It would have been fitting and it would have rid us of this parasite. It would have also prevented him from reproducing.
If Obama is elected and we are tested like Biden says will happen (mark his words), the only real poetic justice will be if that test wipes out Ayers and his family. If McCain is elected maybe the shock will give Ayers a heart attack and he will die a slow and agonizing death.
Just like that coward deserves.

The Weathermen And Obama’s Friend Ayers

Interesting video of the history of the Weathermen and its leader Bill Ayers. Amazing that in America a slug like this can bomb buildings and kill people and not be prosecuted. It is even more amazing that he can still hold his views and make lots of money teaching people his hatred of our country.
What is more amazing is that Obama has close ties to this man and might just be elected our next president. Anyone who votes for him is a traitor. They should be held responsible for the downfall of this country. They deserve the vile hatred that they have spewed for the last 8 years. Unlike Ayers, I do not advocate randomly attacking people (anyone I have ever said should be harmed did something, in my mind, to deserve it). People can be held responsible for their actions in non violent ways (though I am not opposed to violence if it is called for).
There are some idiots on the Internet who threaten and engage in stupidity as a method of communication. Several of these idiots are real heroes who sit in their mother’s basement talking like big men. Others are science fiction writers who couldn’t fight if their lives depended upon it which is why they are happy to let others keep them safe. They are tough when they comment, send emails or contact form messages but when you offer to meet them to discuss their concerns and allow them to express in person that which they expressed in writing they seem to change their tone or have a reason not to meet up. I am always willing to meet for a cup of coffee and discuss what is on their minds (if a location that considers travel can be agreed upon). I’ll even pay for the coffee.
They are an unhinged lot and it is better to ignore them. These people are the result of what happens when siblings mate and the very reason we have laws against such things.
As for the video, Ayers and his wife say it all. I wonder how Obama and his supporters would feel if some radical group set a bomb off at Ayers’ home and killed his wife and kids (not advocating that). If Bill Ayers survived the blast but lost his family, would he be understanding of the person’s cause?
It is amazing to me that the wingnuts will criticize Tim McVeigh and white supremacist groups and equate them to Conservatism but they embrace Bill Ayers with open arms.
I guess it is OK to blow up Americans who don’t agree with you.

GOP Ayers Out Obama Ties To Terrorist

Barack Obama and his surrogates have downplayed his association with unrepentant terrorist William Ayers telling us that they spoke in passing or were neighbors and the impression is always that there was nothing to their relationship. The Drive by Media has been guilty of ignoring the connections and of trumpeting the lies from the Obama camp without one ounce of journalistic effort to get at the truth.
The GOP has unleashed a compilation of facts showing that Obama’s relationship with the domestic terrorist is much more than he, his surrogates, or the Drive by Media has reported. Yes, it is true that Obama was 7 or 8 when Ayers and his band of Communists attacked our country from within but Obama was in his 40s when Ayers said that he did not regret setting the bombs and felt that the group had not done enough. Obama has stated that he denounced the acts of Ayers but Obama has not distanced himself from the man who hosted the coming out party for the chosen successor to State Senator Alice Palmer. Obama was the chosen one and Ayers hosted his coming out party. Obama did not loathe Ayers’ acts enough to decline the invitation.
The GOP post indicates that the neighbors are all part of a social circle and that Michelle and Barack Obama are part of that social group which includes Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn. Ayers posed for a magazine article entitled No Regrets and the photo for the article has him standing on an American Flag. That was in 2001, one month before the Islamic terrorist attacks on this country. Obama has continued his association with Ayers since that time and he has voiced no opposition to Ayers’ treatment of the Flag. The GOP site contains quite a few details.
Sarah Palin has been untethered since the VP debate and has gone on the full attack. She made the connection of Obama to Ayers and said that Obama does not see America like the rest of us do. Basically, Palin pointed out that Obama has a terrorist as a friend and he has never ended that friendship. Palin is spot on and she needs to keep up these attacks and start adding all the other shady characters from Obama’s past.
A Democratic strategist tried to minimize Palin by saying:
“It’s a giant changing of the subject,” said Jenny Backus, a Democratic strategist. “The problem is the messenger. If you want to start throwing fire bombs, you don’t send out the fluffy bunny to do it. I think people don’t take Sarah Palin seriously.”
My friend Don Surber had to agree with Backus and brilliantly points out:
Yes, if you want fire-bombing done right, Obama is the expert on who to call.
Truer words were never spoken.
Once Again, Phony Cries Of Racism

It never fails when it comes to the left. They see racism in everything, except of course in the words of their own adherents who spout racially motivated attacks all the time. This time the focus is on Sarah Palin and her attacks on Obama’s ties to a domestic terrorist. There is no denying that Barack Obama had more than a passing relationship with William Ayers. Therefore, he has associated himself with a domestic terrorist and one who fails to repent for his behavior. In fact, Ayers said that he did not do enough.
Palin attacked Obama for his association with Ayers and the Liberal media has been running cover for The One. The major publications are saying that the association has been debunked (it has not) and that Obama was a child when Ayers targeted our country (he was) and they also report that Obama has denounced what Ayers did in the past.
The Obama Ayers relationship is very real. Ayers held a major fund raiser at his house for Obama and they served together on the board of a few charities. Ayers and Obama have a close relationship and that should make people stop and think.
It is true that Obama was a child when Ayers and his terrorist group bombed federal buildings and killed police officers. But that does not mean Obama should not be held accountable for his judgment. How do you suppose it would play out if Hitler had lived and George Bush befriended him and said “hey I don’t agree with what the guy did but I wasn’t even born when he did it.” Obama can claim that he denounces the acts of Ayers but by befriending him, Obama gives him and the cause he feels did not go far enough, legitimacy. This is the kind of legitimacy that Obama would give Ahmadinejad by meeting with him without preconditions. Perhaps Obama’s failure to make the connection with regard to Ayers is why he is so willing to meet with other terrorists.
It does not matter that Obama has denounced what Ayers did. If you had a neighbor who was friends with bin Laden and rationalized it by saying “Well, I denounced what he did” would you consider that neighbor a patriot or a traitor?
The AP reported on Palin’s comments and they concluded that she had some racist sprinklings in them.
Palin’s words avoid repulsing voters with overt racism. But is there another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee “palling around” with terrorists while assuring a predominantly white audience that he doesn’t see their America?
In a post-Sept. 11 America, terrorists are envisioned as dark-skinned radical Muslims, not the homegrown anarchists of Ayers’ day 40 years ago. With Obama a relative unknown when he began his campaign, the Internet hummed with false e-mails about ties to radical Islam of a foreign-born candidate.
Whether intended or not by the McCain campaign, portraying Obama as “not like us” is another potential appeal to racism. It suggests that the Hawaiian-born Christian is, at heart, un-American. Breitbart
Let me point out that Obama was the one who said he did not look like the other presidents. The AP is playing a word game by inferring that Palin said things she did not. The AP is helping Obama by planting these seeds. I will also say that she associated him with William Ayers who is white and bringing up the dark skinned Muslim angle is reaching well beyond the line of reality. The AP in this analysis is trying to misdirect the attention of the people. They are saying; “ignore the terrorist connections of Obama, it is a racist remark.”
Barack Obama has questionable relationships with radical and corrupt people including Ayers, Tony Rezko, and Pastor Wright. These associations have not been investigated by the media and have been largely ignored. Any attempt to bring them to light is viewed as racist which gives us a good idea as to how Obama will govern the country. “Congress failed to pass my budget because they are racists.” “How dare you criticize my foreign policies, you racists.”
Obama is a radical as is his wife who has been muzzled so as to keep her from expressing her true hate filled feelings about our country. She and her husband will do anything to get ahead in politics. Obama knew Ayers would be helpful so he allowed him to help. This is the same motivation that allowed him to join and attend a radical church for 20 years. He needed the backing in order to achieve. It does not hurt that Obama and his radical wife hold the same values as the church. Even Oprah, who is a racist, left the church.
The AP is way out of line. Obama’s associations are fair game and if the other side does not like it then too bad. Perhaps if the AP spent time actually looking at Obama’s shady past they would not have time to dream up the bogey man of racism.
Palin needs to keep hammering him on this. Attack, attack, attack. If the media will not do its job then others will have to. Regardless of what anyone thinks about this, it is a fact that Obama has a close relationship with a domestic terrorist. This should matter, and to me it does.
