Congressman Alan West of Florida is a great man. He speaks his mind, is well versed on issues and, as an Army veteran, he knows how to lead. He is the kind of guy that Democrats should love because he also happens to be black. The problem he has, as far as Democrats are concerned, he is a conservative.

To the left, any black person who is conservative has betrayed his race and is an Uncle Tom.

West has neither betrayed his race nor is he an Uncle Tom. He is an example of how successful anyone can be if they follow conservative principles and do not allow the victim mentality to seep in. He demonstrates that a minority does not need to be dependent on government in order to succeed.

The left is supposed to care about all people but it has highjacked the black community by making them subservient to government so it gets a little upset when some black conservative actually demonstrates that one does not need the government to succeed. It makes the left angry when they see this because they are afraid that the cat will be out of the bag. They attack black conservatives in order to perpetuate the myth that the only good place for blacks is the left. They are so vile that they attacked Condi Rice with absolutely racist pictures and statements. How dare she be conservative?

The left has attacked West as well. He is man enough to take the words and, having heard him speak, I know is quite able to take care of himself. But some moron sent a letter to his office that had white powder in it. We don’t know the ideology of the person who did it but my money is on a liberal. The left is full of terrorists (see Obama’s buddy Bill Ayers).

West wonders if it is open season on principled, black conservatives. He had something else to say and the people who are attacking him better take notice:

Let me be very clear to all reading this missive, but mostly to liberals who subscribe to this behavior, be careful of whom you are choosing to employ these tactics against…I consider myself an easy-going fella who will always engage in intense intellectual exchange. However, if you choose this path of personal attacks, intimidation, and threats you will encounter a very different Congressman. The Blaze

I think folks would do well not to piss LTC West off because he will not take crap. He will not stand for these tactics and he will come at his attackers with guns blazing.

And I will have his back.

As for the left, they can keep their “principled” liberal blacks who help keep the black community in poverty.

Bennett [a gay man], 55, claims [Jesse] Jackson ridiculed him in front of other employees and required him to perform “humiliating tasks” like escorting women to Jackson’s various hotel rooms, cleaning up after alleged trysts and packing his clothing. It also includes an allegation that Jackson asked for oral sex, according to the claim. Jackson flatly denied each claim in his response. NBC Chicago

Is there any wonder the black community is in a mess? Guys like Jackson are supposed to be the leaders of the black community and his behavior is nothing more than that portrayed in the stereotypes.

This is the kind of person the left loves while attacking a principled man like Alan West.

If Alan West had the status Jackson has (leader of the black community and civil rights activist) the black community would be in much better shape. Jackson and the Democrats have led blacks down a very bad path and now many are dependent on government for their livelihood, just the way liberals want it (have to keep the voting base).

This is why they attack people like West. Can’t let it out that all things are possible when unencumbered by government dependence.

Barack Obama was in Tuscon Wednesday to deliver a speech at a memorial for the people wounded and killed by a deranged lunatic. Though the atmosphere was more like a pep rally or campaign stop, Obama did a good job with his speech and I think he tried to heal the wounds. There were a few parts that worried me but all in all I think he did pretty well. In the speech he called for civility.

Obama had his target audience of college aged kids who were obviously overjoyed at receiving free Obama slogan T shirts and they allowed their exuberance to guide them in launching chants and cheers as the names of those murdered were read. One would have thought Obama was delivering a campaign speech in a battleground state rather than a speech at a memorial.

The left must have been bombed because they evidently did not hear the call for civil discourse. Shoot, it might just be they can’t take a man who calls for bringing a gun and getting in people’s faces seriously. The assault on Sarah Palin continued as gorilla forces in San Francisco put up posters attacking her. The clandestine operation allowed those assault forces to display a red dawn to those in the city of fruits, nuts and flakes.

I thought the poster was funny so much so that I almost died laughing but it is unlikely that Palin will be affected. Though she continues to get death threats as people call for her to be shot, Palin seems to be saying she will submit ‘over my dead body.’ The speech by Obama calling for civility only seems to have caused liberals to launch into more contentious attacks. Yes, Obama’s words seem to have painted a bullseye on Palin’s back.

It does seem though, as if Sheriff Clarence W. Dupnik has stopped his counteroffensive operation. Perhaps he is aware that he is in the bore sights of an American public that is increasingly aware that he and his department failed to take the deranged killer off the street even though they had multiple occasions upon which to do so. Dupnik rocketed to public awareness like a ballistic missile right after the shooting by shooting his mouth off but now it appears as if he has realized he shot himself in the foot and has taken cover. Perhaps he will face an opponent who will roll over him like a tank in the next election.

While Paul Krugman spearheaded the attack on conservatives Barack Obama called for civility.

Unfortunately, the liberal’s war chest is full of accusations and lies and they don’t seem to be in any mood for civility. No truce from them, no white flag, no cease fire.

No, they have their marching orders so it is damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.

Obama called for civility but it looks like we are in for a long campaign of trench warfare.

Eventually though, they will realize this tactic bombed and they will be forced to retreat.

And that is when we will have them in our sights…

It is amazing how quickly attitudes can change. We went from a nation at odds over a close election to a nation united after the attacks on 9-11-01.

After the initial unity we were once again a nation divided as politicians revised history to oppose actions they overwhelmingly and willingly voted for. We became a nation divided over protracted wars. We became a nation divided.

And so we are nine years after the most horrific attacks on our soil, divided.

That we would even allow discussion about the erection of a mosque anywhere near the site where the attacks occurred shows how we are marching further toward dhimmitude.

Have you forgotten?

Let us take time today to remember those innocent people who were murdered in an act of war nine years ago today. Please keep the memories of those in the buildings, those who went to rescue them and those who forced a plane into the ground alive in your hearts and minds.

Let us at least come together as a nation to do that.

And fly your American Flag.

A flotilla of ships containing humanitarian aid ignored an Israeli naval blockade that has been in place since 2007. The Israelis boarded the ships and their military members were attacked by people on the ships. The soldiers were using non lethal force but asked for and received permission to use deadly force. Nine people were killed in the confrontation. Many countries around the world have condemned Israel and called what they have done a crime. Barack Obama said the incident was a tragedy and should be fully investigated by an independent source.

The Israelis have investigated what happened and have stated that they were right in what they did and the lethal force was justified. This should be sufficient for Mr. Obama and he should rescind his call for an independent investigation. The Israeli military looked into its actions and that should be good enough.

After all, that was sufficient for Obama with regard to the possible bribe offered to Joe Sestak. The White House investigated what happened and said nothing improper happened.

Since the war on terror started the left has called for war crimes charges to be levied against George W Bush. It never happened, at least not yet, but that did not stop the daily calls for the charges. Barack Obama took control of the government with a promise to immediately ending the war**. Those plans changed somewhat when he realized that an immediate pull out would be disastrous.

Is it now time to call for charges of war crimes against Barack Obama?

President Hamid Karzai is condemning the US for strikes in Afghanistan that allegedly killed 16 civilians.

Karzai said the killing of innocent Afghans during U.S. military operations “is strengthening the terrorists.”

Karzai’s latest criticism follows a Saturday raid in Laghman province that the U.S. says killed 15 armed militants, including a woman with an RPG, but that Afghan officials say killed civilians.

Two women and three children were among the 16 dead civilians, Karzai said in a statement.

The attacks are strengthening the support of terrorists. Isn’t that what the left screamed about with regard to President Bush?

Obama is now in charge of the military and its operations. Are we now going to hear the left scream about civilian casualties and call for war crimes charges to be levied against The One?

When Israel reatliated against Hamas for the daily rocket attacks I made it clear that she should wipe out Hamas or there will be future problems. I am not the only one. Those who side with Israel (the people who are not anti Semites) know all too well the game that is played. Israel takes action, the other side cries and demands a cease fire because of the death and suffering and then, when circumstances allow, the terrorists attack again. The only way to prevent it is an absolute victory that involves wiping out the enemy.

Hamas has no intention of living in peace. It is sworn to destroy Israel and it has made its intentions quite clear. Despite this, Israel has stated that it met its goals and declared a unilateral cease fire.

One would think that the members of Hamas who lived through the ordeal would be happy to be alive and that the action had stopped.

Of course, we are talking about barbaric morons who use the media to play games and who attack innocent civilians. These are the people who say they want action stopped but then do things to provoke more attacks. Thus is the case with the latest cease fire.

JERUSALEM (CNN) — Militants fired six rockets into southern Israel and exchanged gunfire with troops in northern Gaza Sunday, hours after Israel declared a unilateral cease-fire in the Palestinian territory, an Israeli spokesman said.

The Qassam rockets were fired into Sderot at 9 a.m. — seven hours after Israel’s cease-fire went into effect. The rockets did not injure anyone, and Israeli aircrafts destroyed the rocket launcher soon afterward, an Israeli military spokesman said.

What will it take before Israel understands what has to be done to stop the attacks? Until she realizes that the terrorists will not stop and do not want peace, the same scenario will play out over and over like a Jewish version of the movie Ground Hog Day.

There will be no peace until those who continually strive to destroy Israel are killed.

Israel should learn this lesson soon or it will be playing this movie over and over for generations to come.

Five Muslim Immigrants who were working on a plan to sneak in to Fort Dix New Jersey and kill American soldiers have been convicted and now face life in prison. The five were arrested after their group was infiltrated by an FBI informant.

The would be terrorists did not have a solid plan and they were months away from actually doing anything but they had obtained weapons and were training to kill Americans.

It is good that they were convicted and might end up behind bars for the rest of their miserable lives but I can’t help but wonder about another plot to attack Fort Dix.

Bill Ayers, unrepentant domestic terrorist and friend of Barack Obama, and his group of rag tag misfits had a plan to attack Fort Dix during the Vietnam War. They were going to set off bombs and kill soldiers and their dates attending a dance on post.

Fortunately, the bomb they were building detonated and killed three members of the group. Unfortunately, Ayers and his terrorist wife were not among them.

Now, for some strange reason, Ayers and his wife are successful in the country they declared war against and are hailed as heroes in some circles. Obama launched his political career from their home and they worked together on a program to indoctrinate children in the name of education.

The best thing would have been for them to die in the explosion but since that did not happen, why are they free? They should have been jailed for life like these five Muslims who were much farther away from killing soldiers than Ayers and his cohorts.

At least we got the five Muslims terrorists off the streets. Good thing too. Who knows what Socialist Democrat they might help get elected…

The Democrats are ratcheting up their attacks on Sarah Palin demonstrating just how formidable an opponent she really is. If they were not concerned with her or if they really believed America will not vote for McCain simply because of her, then why do they attack her so relentlessly? The Obama campaign was full of sexists when Hillary was running against him and the Democrats, the so called party of the people, women’s rights and all that, have continued that tact with Palin. It is amazing to see the number of women in the Democratic party who think Palin should stay home and raise her kids or that she has no business being in politics. South Carolina Democratic chairwoman Carol Fowler sharply attacked Sarah Palin today, saying John McCain had chosen a running mate “whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn’t had an abortion.”

Is this really the message that women in the Democratic party want to send? Do they expect men to take them seriously when they abandon their so called beliefs in order to destroy a female opponent from the opposite party? Imagine if some Conservative in a business looked at a liberal woman applying for a job and said, “Have you ever had an abortion? If not then you will be qualified for this job.” To me this is no different than telling a woman she is unqualified if she is pregnant or has kids and must take off to attend to them. The women’s movement was supposed to be about equal rights and the idea that women were qualified to do the same jobs as men. It seems that is nothing more than talk because the women who say they are all for it actually do not have the strength to put their money where their mouth is.

I wonder what Carol Fowler would say if the South Carolina Republican Chairman said that the Democrats had chosen a presidential candidate whose primary qualification seems to be that he was not born white…

I also wonder if she realizes that she is saying you have to murder a child to be qualified to be on the ticket.

They are very afraid.

Barack Hussein Obama wants to be the President of the United States. He has made it clear that he will negotiate with our enemies without precondition but has indicated that the military option is always on the table. Obama can talk tough when he has to and he has been known to be a political thug but beneath it all he is a pussy.

We know that Obama is a pussy because he is crying that a woman is beating him up. I remember when I was a boy one of the things we boys never wanted to happen was for us to get beat up by a girl. You could get your butt whipped everyday from a guy and it was over that day but if a girl kicked your tail you never lived it down. Obama is crying about being bullied by a girl and he does not like it. He might never live it down.

You see, during the Democratic Primaries Obama had the media on his side and Hillary was beaten from all angles. There were a lot of dynamics involved and though Obama was sexist, he was not beaten by the woman because he was able to gang up on her, Chicago style. With Saracuda it will make no difference how many friends he brings to the fight, she will not back down. The Media have been against Republicans for such a long time we already know that the odds are stacked against us so it will not come as a surprise to us as it did Hillary. A fight is good but how will Obama’s crying about being picked on play with voters? Will they realize he lacks what it takes to be tough?

Obama is saying that he will not be smeared, lied about or bullied and that he does not like to come in second. It is funny, because all Obama has done is attack and smear Palin since she was announced. Oh sure, he might not have been the one to say the words, but he is the one who has directed the attacks. Much like he did in the primary, he is allowing his surrogates to attack while he looks clean and above the fray. He is also letting women do his fighting:

So the way I see it, Barry Obama is crying because his record (not him personally) was attacked by a woman in response to his dismissal of her record and selection to be VP. Make no mistake, the initial response was dismissal and negative. It was changed when reaction from many was swift and also negative. I also see that Barry is pimping out his women to do his fighting for him. He is getting beat up by a girl and he is sending girls to fight his battle. He is not man enough to fight on his own.

We know that Barry cannot match up with McCain as a matter of toughness and there is no shame in that. But Obama has no problem attacking McCain and engaging in a fight with him. Obama is not willing to take on Palin which makes me wonder how tough he could possibly be with the bad people of this world.

I guess what is at the root of all this is that Barry thought that Palin would crumble under the weight of the attacks launched against her by his friends in the media. I guess he figured that she would be beaten into submission and would be too timid to fight back. Instead, after Barry’s friends in the media ran one false story after another or dredged up decades old items to try to discredit her and even after they questioned her ability as a mother because of the decision she made to fly after her water broke (which is no one’s concern but hers and her doctors) Palin, instead of crumbling, struck back.

As an aside, would someone tell me why, when a woman wants to murder a child through abortion, it is a matter between her and her doctor but when Palin decided to fly home to deliver her child it is everyone’s business. People have been attacking her judgment because of a decision she and her doctor made. I thought the left believed in a woman’s choice. They never concern themselves with children who are aborted and Obama is not concerned with the ones who are born alive after an attempted abortion. Why question Palin’s judgment on life when they oppose questiong judgment in a culture of death? And for the uninformed, Trisomy 21 is genetic so flying after her water broke did not cause the defect.

Back to business. I know that Obama needs to be careful because he risks being called out for picking on the girl. He (or his surrogates) has attacked her family, her personal decisions and they have made up vile lies about her baby and who had it and fathered it. It is all a bunch of personal attacks and Obama is responsible for them (it is HIS campaign and he thinks running it makes him more qualified than Palin). I wonder when the media will look into Obama’s associations and shady past. Funny how he sounds like Hillary when he says he has been vetted for 19 months while Palin has been at it for 4 days.

They know that they cannot attack her qualifications because she has more of them than Obama so they are going after her personal life. Funny thing, she took what they had and then shot back and when she did it was a gut punch that had Barry on his knees whining that a woman had bullied him and asking his girls to go out and attack her for him.

We have a name for men who put women on the streets doing dirty work for them. We call them pimps.

Palin will do well to avoid attacking the surrogates. Their goal is to take focus off Obambi. She should address anything they say by refocusing it on Obama. She could say; “Surrogate X was on the attack for Senator Obama and she carried his message of…” And then she could attack him and his message and ignore the surrogate. If I were she I would connect Obambi’s use of women to attack with his sexist attitude toward them as displayed in the primary. That will resonate. I think that Obama and his people found out that a woman who hunts her own food is not going to wilt when a slick talking, former drug using*, Chicago thug attacks her. I bet that not only can she take him in a verbal battle, she could actually stomp his metrosexual butt into a mud puddle and then walk it dry.

Perhaps Palin’s executive experience as a governor and running a military has given her the experience to fight while Obama is unable to do anything but send his nags out to fight for him. Real demonstration about Commander in Chief credentials by a person who will not be the president to someone who is running to be. We already know McCain has the creds for the job and it is good to see Palin holds her creds a heartbeat away.

I actually look forward to Obama’s girls (not his children though they might be tougher than daddy) attacking Palin. The left has a bunch of old nasty looking feminazis who will look like a bunch of harpies when they go up against a telegenic, intelligent woman who can mop the floor with them. Remember, Palin has already scared Oprah Winfrey.

Democrats can say they are not scared but I can smell the fear.

Who would you rather have standing next to you in a tough spot; Obama and Biden or McCain and Palin?

Saracuda Palin, the next Vice President of the United States, excoriated Barack Obama for his so called experience as a community organizer. I know that Obama did not like this because he sent me an email WHINING that Palin mocked his time as a community organizer and then he asked me for money. In a TV interview Obama said that Palin’s claimed experience was fair game and that he has been going through this for 19 months and she for 4 days. That is a nice was to dismiss the woman but she has been going through this since she ran for office and it is a bit more than 4 days.

Well, if experience is fair game why is Obama whining about Palin questioning his experience as a community organizer? Let’s face it, Obama’s camp was the one that attacked Palin as lacking experience. This from a candidate whose biggest claim to fame is that he was a community organizer. Why is it fair to attack Palin but then unfair for Palin to point out Barry’s lack of experience? I know Barry is upset that she hit him on his community organizer experience but that is all he has to attack. Let us take a look at the community he organized.

Chicago has one of the toughest gun laws in the country. The unconstitutional laws there (which Obama supports) are supposed to keep people safe. But they do not. This Summer Chicago had 123 murders by firearms. This was double the rate of US military killed in Iraq during the same period of time and we are fighting a war there. Obama was a community organizer there and he wants us to believe that his sainted touch made the place better. The truth is that he and his buddy Rezko raped the people and the place he “organized” is more run down now than it was before he organized it.

This is the experience that Obama claims. He continually blows the organizer trumpet as if he is Gabriel himself. If he put that experience out there as a qualification then it, using his words, is fair game. He failed miserably as an organizer and he has less experience than Sarah Palin. She has served as an executive as a mayor and a governor and she is in charge of the Alaska National Guard. Obama can claim none of this experience.

All one needs to do is look at the community Barry organized to see how little experience he has and how disastrous the outcome was to know he is not the one to lead this country.

Remember, if she was insignificant they would not attack her so viciously. She is a game changer and they know it.
