The Democrat Congressman who assaulted a student is now in a dead heat in his race. The race for the North Carolina Second Congressional District seat was considered safe though expected to be tougher than usual because of the anti incumbent fever in the country.

However, Ehteridge assaulted a college student and the incident, which was caught on video, went viral on the Internet. In the 24 hours following the incident Etheridge’s challenger, Renee Ellmers, raised $24,000 and a flash poll shows her with a 1 point lead.

I can’t understand how this dirt bag has not been arrested for the assault much less how he is even polling close to his challenger. People should be thoroughly disgusted that a a member of Congress would assault anyone, much less a student.

Etheridge bullied a college student who asked him a simple question; “Do you support the Obama agenda?” The response was something one would expect from politicians in Nazi Germany or Venezuela. It certainly was not what we expect in America.

This is the violence Nancy Pelosi was worried about except it is from her side and not the TEA Party activists whose every move is scrutinized by Democrats and the state run media as they look for some act of violence that they can use to paint all TEA Party members as a violent bunch.

But, as has been the case all along, it was a member of the left who acted violently and it was a Congressman, no less.

Etheridge is lucky he picked on a college student who obviously had no desire to counter the attack. Otherwise Congressman Etheridge might have been missing his teeth.

The poll is a good start but this race is a long way from over. Ellmers needs to get permission to use that video and then put it in her campaign ads. The people of North Carolina need to be continually reminded of the thug they have in office and need to understand that it is their duty to show this jackass the door.

I think Congressman Etheridge might want to avoid the 5 martini lunches from now on.

Not long ago Nancy Pelosi was tearing up and telling us how she was worried about the rhetoric she was hearing and how she had heard it before and it led to violence. She was discussing TEA Party members and equating them to the Harvey Milk incident where one Democrat killed another over a job dispute. But that was good enough for her to paint the TEA Party movement as violent extremists.

Looks like she was right about the violence though. One of her Democrats, Bob Etheridge of North Carolina, assaulted a college kid on a public street and the incident was captured on video.

The student saw the Congressman walking down the street and asked him if he supported the Obama agenda. Etheridge swatted the camera he was holding and grabbed the young man’s right wrist. The Congressman kept asking the student who he was and the answer was a college student working on a project. At least two times the student asked the Congressman to let go of him but the grip was not released until the Congressman released it and spun the student around while grabbing him by the back of his neck and pulling him in tight. The student was able to get free and moved away.

I wonder what it was that set Etheridge off? Was he on his way back from a five martini lunch and feeling a little cocky? No matter what anyone thinks about the student asking the question the Congressman had no right to put his hands on him. The Congressman assaulted the student and should face charges.

The student appeared frightened and uncomfortable. He obviously did not know what to do and finally broke free. I wonder what would have happened if the student had defended himself and injured the Congressman. Do you suppose Pelosi and the state run media would be calling the student a violent TEA Party activist? This Congressman got lucky in that he grabbed someone who did not defend himself. I know a number of people who would have broken his arm off and beaten him with it.

Bob Etheridge has apologized. He said that having a bad day was no excuse and then used it as an excuse. This apology is not sufficient for what took place. Etheridge should be charged with assault and stand trial for attacking the student. It is all on video and cannot be denied.

His opponent in the upcoming race is Renee Elmers. I urge those in that Congressional District to vote her in and the Pelosi thug out.

Yes, Obama said to get in their faces and it looks like at least one member of Congress did. The state run media went nuts over allegations (that have never been proven true) of TEA Party members spitting on a black Congressman and calling him names. No video has ever surfaced but the state run media ran with the story.

This video shows a Congressman clearly attacking a person on the street. When will the state run media call for his head? When will Obama say he acted stupidly and suggest a beer summit? When will Nancy Pelosi get all weepy and say that she has seen this kind of violence before (which would be true because all the violence has come from Democrats)?

While Scott Brown was in his home state connecting with voters Martha Coakley was in DC getting cozy with lobbyists and taking their money. Coakley indicated that the event in DC was a unity event that was planned in December after the primary. There is no dispute that it was planned then but what exactly was planned? The website Legal Insurrection reports that the event was organized by a professional fund raising group.

But in fact the event was organized by 4C Partners, a professional fundraising and campaign consulting organization. One of Coakley’s own fundraisers, Julia Hoffman, joined 4C Partners in mid-December 2009. Hoffman is the contact person on the fundraiser announcement.

So was this a unity event or a fund raiser? Do they really need a professional group to organize a unity event? Since when does a unity event involve lobbyists, many of whom are from companies with a big stake in health care? Since those very lobbyists ponied up large sums of money and they did it at an event that was organized by a professional fund raising group, we can only conclude that it was, in fact, a fund raiser.

Martha Coakley left Massachusetts and went to DC to raise money from lobbyists while Scott Brown stayed at home with the people he will represent once elected.

Coakley also witnessed an event that involved one of her people and a reporter. The reporter, John McCormack, claims that Michael Meehan, an Obama nominee who was dispatched to help Coakley, pushed him down as he tried to ask Coakley a question. I have no way of knowing what happened because I was not there. He could have tripped or he could have fallen over something but he claims he was pushed. All of this is moot because Coakley was right there even though she stated she was not “privy” to the event.

A video of the event (it does not show how McCormack fell) shows Coakley was right there looking at McCormack as he lay on the ground. A still photo makes it clear that Coakley was there and looking at him. Perhaps she did not see what happened and turned when she heard the commotion but since he was attempting to ask her a question it is likely that she was looking at him. It appears to me that she saw what happened. If he fell then she would have said she saw him fall or trip or whatever. Since she denied being privy, it is not out of the realm that she witnessed an assault and ignored it. Is this the kind of person Massachusetts wants representing the state? She is an officer of the court, of law enforcement, and it is quite possible she ignored a crime.

Coakley also told a blatant lie about Scott Brown with regard to a bill that he voted on. She claims he voted to withhold care for victims of rape. This is a lie. Brown required the bill to have language that allowed health care providers to not give the morning after pill if they had a religious or other moral objection to the procedure. The provider was required to already have his objections on file at the treatment facility and the victim was to be offered the service from someone who had no objection to giving it and at no additional cost.

In Coakley’s mind this is withholding care for rape victims and it is an absolute lie. In fact, the health care bill before Congress, the bill Coakley will vote for if elected, has nearly identical language in it regarding treatment of victims of rape.

Does this mean Coakley is in favor of withholding treatment from rape victims?

Brown’s daughters were out with him and defended their dad. Jammie Wearing Fool has the money quote at the end of the post about Brown and his daughters:

Behold the irony of castigating Brown on his stance with women to the fact Coakley is trotting out Bill Clinton for an appearance this week.

That, my friends, is pure irony.

Martha Coakley is a liar. She lied about the DC event and what it really was. She was less than honest about the incident involving the alleged assault of a reporter and she lied about Brown’s stance on treatment of rape victims.

Take a look at the photo of Coakley staring at the man on the ground and then look at this photo of Scott Brown. Which one is the true defender of the people and which one feels it is OK to run roughshod over those with whom they disagree?

The thoughts and prayers of the Big Dog family go out to the people of Haiti who have been devastated by a terrible earthquake. Americans will rally to help them but as you do please be careful to whom you send your money. The worst events bring out the worst people and there will be many scam artists out to make money off the human suffering. Big Dog Salute to Michelle Malkin and Don Surber

Charlie Sheen is one of the stars in a comedy entitled Two and a Half Men. It is about two men and a boy (father, son, and uncle) who live together in California. It is a funny show and Sheen’s character is a womanizing drunk (a liberal hero) who is dishonest and self serving.

I don’t know if you can say that Sheen is acting in the show because he is just being himself.

Sheen spent Christmas Day in a jail in Colorado after he assaulted his wife. Sheen went to Colorado to spend Christmas with her even though the two have been having their differences. They allegedly started arguing as soon as they saw each other and Sheen, the manly man, assaulted his wife.

He was charged with second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief.

In his show the teen aged kid is the half a man.

In real life that half a man is Charlie Sheen.

Big Dog Salute to Jammie Wearing Fool.

A Baptist Pastor was on his way home when he stopped at a border patrol checkpoint. They asked him a bunch of questions which he said he would not like to answer. Then they told him they wanted to search his car and he told them no. They brought a dog out walked it by the car and took it away. They told him the dog alerted on drugs or humans and they now had probable cause to search. The 8 minutes of this video is well worth watching.

There were two border patrol agents who were sent to jail for shooting a fleeing drug smuggler. They were doing their jobs and ended up in jail.

Anyone want to bet that these Border Patrol Agents, the ones who actually belong in jail, are not even counseled on their behavior? These guys will not get a second look.

Until the lawsuit. I hope this pastor gets so much money in the lawsuit that it makes the “stimulus” look like child’s play.

The irony is that the Border Patrol Agents will not do anything to the ILLEGALS coming in. Instead they harass American citizens and assault them.

Keep in mind that this is his account of the story. He could have gotten beaten up in a gay bar and wants to hide that. If he was arrested there will be a record of it. I read somewhere he was arrested before for refusing to give information (his right) and refusing to allow a search of his car (again, his right). If he was beaten by the BP then they need to be fired.

For now, I am siding with him until someone can show this is not for real.

The homosexual community is in a snit because Proposition 8 passed in California. Prop 8 changed the California Constitution to define marriage as one man and one woman. The proposition might have failed if it were not for the huge turn out in black voters who showed up to vote for Obama.

For years gays have told the rest of us that we had to accept their agenda and that we needed to be tolerant. They scoff at any attempt to define marriage as anything that excludes the union of same sex couples and they continually force their agenda on school systems so that our children are taught that Johnny can have two dads or two moms.

Well, it looks like those who expect tolerance are not willing to give tolerance as the gay community has resorted to violence because they did not like the outcome of the vote on Prop 8. The gays have blamed the black community and started calling them “niggers” and they blamed the Mormons who received white powder in the mail and had the Book of Mormon burned on the steps of one of their churches. All these acts were done by gay activists. Additionally, an 80 year old woman was assaulted by a bunch of tolerant gays because she held a Cross up at a rally.

Why is it that when a vote goes the way they want these people say that the will of the people has been shown and that we should respect the decision. There were no riots from non gays and there were no assaults on gays after a judge overturned the last vote which demonstrated the will of the people. The opponents went to work crafting a proposition that would change the California Constitution and keep activist judges from legislating from the bench.

Early on it looked as if Prop 8 would be defeated but a lot of supporters pumped money in to defeat it. The gay community, aided by California Governor Schwarzenegger, is trying to challenge the results in court. The Governor and the gay community are hoping that a judge will once again overrule the will of the people. Why do we have votes if judges can interfere in the process? The people of California have spoken and that is the end of the issue. The law says that a proposition that changes the California Constitution takes effect the day after the election (or in this case after the absentee ballots were counted and the results confirmed) so one man and one woman is now the definition of marriage in that state.

Suppose the millions of Americans who did not like the Obama victory decided to start sending suspicious substances in the mail or assaulted people who voted for Obama and then worked to have a judge overturn the election. Of course, there are lawsuits challenging Obama’s qualification but that is a Constitutional issue. In any event, it is unlikely that any judge has the testicular fortitude to require Obama show a vault copy of his birth certificate. Judges don’t seem to be too keen on the Constitution these days.

As for gay community, they are not playing this very intelligently. They are attacking people to try to get their way which seems a bit queer to me. Do they really think more people will become sympathetic to their cause after watching them act like animals? Interestingly, gays across the country staged rallies in opposition to the results of Prop 8 and one held a sign that read “Don’t spread H8.” Maybe they should start at home and work outward. No one beat that guy up but I bet there would have been violence if there was a sign that read “Don’t spread AIDS” held up by an opponent…

Be wary of the gay community. They have come out of the closet and now instead of preaching tolerance they are committing crimes and trying to browbeat people into giving them their way.

If attacked, shoot first and ask questions later.

The left is fond of instilling fear in its supporters by talking about how mean and thuggish Republicans are. Despite the fact that most of the violence and vandalism reported is the result of liberals, the left still insists that we conservatives are the violent ones.

Recently, a McCain supporter was standing on a New York street waving a McCain sign. The McCain supporter was a small, middle aged woman who was wearing glasses. A man took exception to the woman and her display of support for McCain and he tore up her sign. She told him he could not do that and got another sign which he tore up and then broke the stick in half and beat her with it. He caused cuts and contusions to this woman who did not do anything to provoke the attack. The coward then tried to get away but police were notified and he was taken into custody.

This guy is a real hero. He picked on a woman who was being peaceful. You will hear little about this incident because the media cannot take time to publish anything that makes The One or his Kool Aid drinking followers look bad. It is too bad that this did not happen when the Gathering of Eagles or other veteran’s group members were around. This guy would have been taken into custody with a stick hanging out of his rectal cavity (but inserted neatly next to his head).

These people need to be dealt with harshly. This guy should pray he did this to a woman who did not fight with him. To me, this story would have had a better ending if it said “when police arrived, they found the attacker lying in a pool of his own blood, the broken end of a stick plunged through his heart.”

Let’s declare open season. Any liberal who gets physical gets taken down, all the way down. The only way they will vote on election day is with all the other dead folks ACORN registered.

I saw a headline at Drudge that read; “Man struck in head with bat during argument over politics” and I naturally assumed it was about Bill and Hillary Clinton. Her temper is well known and she has thrown ashtrays and other items at Bill while they infested the White House so I figured she must have been ticked about how she is getting her butt kicked and decided to take it out on slick Willy.

Unfortunately, the story is about two friends (that leaves the Clintons out) who got in an argument during the Clinton/Obama debate when one whacked the other in the head with a bat. After he whacked his buddy, the guy took him to the hospital so his pal could get fixed up. After he told the police what happened he was arrested. The victim is in Intensive Care.

If the elections in Texas and Ohio today go badly for Hillary we might just be reading a story about Bill getting beat half to death with something…
