Obama Was Not The Only One To Say It

There is a lot of hype about Barack Obama’s promise that if you like your insurance you can keep it and there should be. He lied to us dozens of times when he knew all along that he was doing do. He should be held to account for this but he is not the only one to say it.

A number of Democrats also spouted this lie and they knew they were lying when they said it. They need to be held accountable for their words and some of them can be. A few are retiring and some are not up for reelection but many on the list at the linked article are up in 2014.

The ones up for reelection lied to our faces and did not really care what impact their lie or the law would have. All they cared about was getting it passed.

Now that it has passed and their lie has been exposed along with the dismal failure of the roll out they are running around like their heads are on fire and their asses are catching. They are pretending to care about us. They are working hard to fix the problem they knew existed and that they knew would happen but that they lied about.

They are doing this in order to win reelection because they are running scared. If they can fool people then they can continue to screw people. Remember, they only care about their political careers.

Breitbart News has compiled a list of the Top 10 Senate Democrats who should follow Obama’s lead and apologize to the American public. These particular lawmakers either went all-in on the false claim for partisan reasons or were in a position to know that millions of Americans would not be able to keep their health insurance.

If these people are your elected officials then be sure to vote them out of office. They lied to your faces and they allowed criminal schemes to be used to get a law that is harming our nation. They have shown their disdain for the voters and 2014 will be the chance for voters to send them packing.

Obamacare Is A Losing Proposition For Democrats

In the 2014 midterm elections a lot of Democrats will be in for a shock when, for the first time in their miserable lives, they will have to get a real job. They are running scared right now and they have a reason to. They thought that the government shutdown would help them and when it first happened that appeared to be the case.

Terry McAuliffe won the election for Governor of Virginia but he barely eked it out. When the month of October started he had about a 12 point lead over his Republican opponent. McAuliffe raised 15 million dollars more and outspent his opponent about 2:1.

Then the partial government shutdown ended and the media focused on Obamacare and the disaster it has been. The failure is there each time something is tried and it is obvious that Democrats lied to America by supporting Obama and his you can keep it if you like it mantra.

Ken Cuccinelli had the deck stacked against him. He did not have the money and the left spent a lot lying about him. To top it off the Democrats paid for a person to pretend to be a Libertarian (his entry into the race and his backing paid for by an Obama bundler) to siphon votes. The votes the pseudo libertarian got would have propelled Cuccinelli to victory.

Be that as it may, the reality has set in. Obamacare wiped out a 12 point lead that McAuliffe had. Exit polls show that a lot of people are not happy with the whole mess that is Obamacare.

Cuccinelli had no support from establishment Republicans and the establishment’s new darling, Chris Christie Kreme refused to even campaign for him.

With all that going against him Cuccinelli almost won because of Obamacare.

Democrats can crow about a win in Virginia but when they are in their quiet places out of the public’s sight they are worried. They know that they are vulnerable because of Obamacare. All of them are on the record voting for the law and the very items they were warned would cause millions to lose their coverage thus giving us the lie of keeping it if you like it.

They cannot hide from their votes and they cannot defend what they did.

There are a number of Democrat Senators who are in trouble and any Democrat House Member in a red state (or specifically a red district) is worried because support of Obamacare will come back to hurt them.

Unless of course, Democrats find more phony third party candidates to help them along the way.

McConnell Is Only Partly Correct

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY) is not on board with defunding Obamacare and he will help Democrats get it all the money it needs. He had a little chat on the Senate floor with fellow Kentucky Senator Rand Paul. McConnell said that the law would fail.

On that he is correct. The law is already failing and it will fail miserably. It has not hit mandated deadlines and parts of it have had to be delayed because those parts are hurting Obama’s friends, Obama does not want the problems before the next election AND they are not ready for implementation.

But McConnell is wrong in drawing the conclusion that because Obamacare will fail it will go away. He stated:

“I think it’s pretty safe to conclude: The things that can’t work don’t stick, don’t last. Because we are, after all, a representative Democracy, the people can complain and discuss and tell us how they feel.” The Hill

Social Security is not working and it has been around for decades. Medicare, same thing. The war on drugs, not working but we continue to spend billions of dollars on that war (while Obama arms drug cartels).

The war on poverty has cost us over 12 TRILLION dollars and it has been a failure. There are more people in poverty now then when the program started and there are more people on welfare. The war to end poverty has created more of it, has added trillions of dollars to our debt and has added millions of people to the welfare rolls.

With all of these negatives one can safely say that the war on poverty failed.

Yet our government continues to redistribute wealth to support the welfare state that resulted from the lost war on poverty.

Government programs do not go away. They cost more than advertised and then when they fail government says there is a problem that needs more money to solve and then throws more money at the problem IT created.

It is a vicious cycle that resembles being caught in a transporter loop.

McConnell can claim that the law has no chance of working and he is correct but to conclude that it will go away flies in the face of history and reality.

The only way to get rid of it is to do so now before millions of people get snared into it and depend on it.

When that happens we will have another failed welfare program that consumes more and more while producing nothing.

Regardless of what happens McConnell and the rest of the RINOs must be removed from office.

I know that the establishment Republicans are counting on winning the Senate in 2014. What happens if they don’t? I would rather never win the Senate if it will be in control of people like McConnell, McCain and Cornyn.

I won’t be voting in 2014 with the goal of gaining back the Senate. I will be working to have people vote these slugs out of office.
