Striking Police, Not A Big Deal

Nancy Pelosi is excusing this behavior by her fellow moonbat.
Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi on Thursday labeled it “a mistake, an unfortunate lack of recognition of a member of Congress.” She added that the police officer was not at fault.
“I would not make a big deal of this,” said Pelosi, D-Calif.
So it was unfortunate that the police officer did not recognize McKinney. While Pelosi said the officer was not at fault she failed to tell us how unfortunate it was that a member of Congress struck a police officer. You see, to Pelosi, the cop is not at fault but he made an unfortunate mistake by not recognizing McKinney. Only in moonbat paradise could this kind of stupidity actually be believed. Imagine if a Capitol Hill police officer pulled your car over and you punched him. Imagine, though it will be hard, that you were not arrested ON THE SPOT and your car impounded. Now imagine how the Congress and the American public would react if you went on TV and said that it was an unfortunate mistake that the police officer did not recognize you but that it was not his fault. Most of Congress would be defending the officer’s actions and condemning yours. But you are not an elected elitist.
If an altercation occurs someone is at fault. Someone provoked the conflict. If Pelosi admits the officer is not at fault then it stands to reason that McKinney must be. Nancy Pelosi would not make a big deal out of this unless of course it were Tom Delay who punched the officer. Then she would make a big deal out of it. She would also make a big deal out of it if John Q Public punched a police officer.
Perhaps it is not a big deal when Democrats assault people and disregard the law or the people who are trying to protect their safety. I think the Capitol Police need to drag this wench out in handcuffs and charge her with and assault. You can bet the farm that Pelosi might not think this is a big deal now but if McKinney gets arrested for it Pelosi will be making it a front page story with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson telling us how the Capitol Police are racists
I think this is going to be fun.

If it matters, I think it’s a big deal. I thought it was a big deal before I heard which politician was involved and after I learned which politician was involved.
I know from your writing that you would feel this was a big deal regardless of who was involved.
If it were you or I we would still be trying to get bailed out of the slammer.
Funny thing is…while I would never strike an authority figure in uniform, I am quite well known among my friends for regularly getting into arguments with airport security since 9-11, generally over their stupidity. It seems no one will fly with me and I do appear to be on some sort of “search” list. So, when I first started to hear the story I almost kinda started to feel for her until she struck the officer. I have way too much respect for people who are just trying to do their job, even if I think they could be doing it better. At least every time I’ve gotten into an argument with security, no one got hurt, no one was touched and it was generally handled without the press or other authorities getting involved. đŸ˜‰
I certainly think she was acting a bit too snotty. I mean can anyone really recognize everyone who works in their office by face? Look how many people work in that building. Please.
(Please, before anyone attacks me, do note that I am a huge advocate of better, stricter, but more practical and efficient airport and government security.)
