Schwarzenegger Blows Chance At Presidency

Arnold Schwarzenegger gave an interview and he said that he would love to be president one day, “if it were possible.” Schwarzenegger is the governor of California but he is ineligible to be the president. Some might think that it is because of the Constitution as pointed out in the article:

At the moment, becoming president would be impossible. Schwarzenegger, who was born in Austria and became a U.S. citizen in 1983, is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States, as required by the Constitution. LA Times

Not being natural born is not what keeps Schwarzenegger from being eligible to run. What keeps him ineligible is that he made it known that he is not natural born. If he had a way to have all his records sealed, both here and in his native country, he could have claimed to have been born here and people would have no choice but to let him be president, provided he won the election.

That is exactly what we are doing with regard to Obama. He has yet to prove he was born here. Despite what the left says there has been no proof that he was born here and no official has stated that he was. Additionally, his birth certificate was never reviewed for authenticity. This has been hashed out before so I will not go into it again but comprehension is important with this issue.

As for Schwarzenegger, he screwed himself out of the chance to be president by doing things legally. His paperwork is out there for people to see and he has never said that he was born here. Obama claims he was but his granny said otherwise and the history shows that it is likely the case that he was born elsewhere.

I am just as happy that Schwarzenegger cannot run for the presidency. He is no different than John McCain in that he is a RINO who is willing to buy into liberal pap and to compromise principle. McCain was a far better selection than Obama but McCain is no conservative. Schwarzenegger is not one either and I would not want to see him occupy the White House.

We need true conservatives in office. When they run, they win because the majority in this nation hold conservative values. Despite what the left said about the last election being a repudiation of conservatism, it was not. George Bush is not a conservative and no conservative was in the general election.

The American public picked a far left liberal candidate over a moderately liberal one.

Sorry Arnie, you screwed yourself. For the rest of you non natural born citizens who want to run, start hiding your records now.

Arnold should have sneaked in as an ILLEGAL and then he would be able to run.

  2. I view the 2008 election as typical. Enough voters were not satisfied with the GOP that they voted for the Dems candidate. There may also be some truth to the suggestion that Obama beat the GOP at their own game, getting to young (ignorant) voters and others who had not recently voted (with or without the help of ACORN)

I guess it depends on how you define official. Director of Health for Hawaii? Not official? The Registrar of Vital Statistics? Not official?

It’s never going to be enough though, is it? Obama must bow to the wishes of you lunatic tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists or else he is hiding something. I’d spend a million bucks too if it kept you guys foaming at the mouth and looking like idiots.

All those officials in Hawaii said was that he had a document on file in accordance with state laws. Hawaii allowed foreign births to be registered until the 70s. That statement was not that he had a valid BC, just that a BC was on file that complied with state law.

It is amazing to me that whenever George Bush refused to say or release something you and your lib buddies screamed cover up. Your man Obama vowed to have transparency and he has not done that.

A real patriot would show the document to prove he is not above the Constitution but then again, Obama is no patriot.

I never want to hear anything from you again about Bush and secrecy.

There has been no proof. But, if we are going to take statements, what about granny who said he was born in Kenya? Is her word not good enough for you?

You see, this is reasonable doubt and he can clear it up. I would be happy to drop the issue as soon as he proves it but I don’t think he can.

Go check what the guy said. Problem is, you libs are so used to parsed words from Clinton you are unable to comprehend through your Kool Aid stained eyes.

While the “October Surprise” credit crisis netted Obama the general election, a “January Surprise” constitutional crisis will NOT net Obama the Presidency!

I wonder if the Supreme Court has the testicular fortitude to uphold the Constitution. They are worried about riots if the One is disqualified.

Anyone who would riot is not worried about the rule of law and should be shot on site for causing the disturbance.

You never want to hear what from me? What a joke. What you fail to see is every time you accuse me of double standard it is you on the other end. Why is it that every time Obama says something that is the least bit inaccurate he’s just a flat out liar yet you carried water for Bush over every thing he ever lied about or was the least bit misleading over? You’ll spend the next 4-8 years treating Obama the same way you think liberals treated Bush and you’ll still be calling us the hypocrites for it. Obama isn’t even in office yet and you’re scandal mongering and repeating chain letter trash as if it’s absolute fact. Over the years you’ve become a pathetic tin foil hat wearing member of the right wing echo chamber where you’ll say and do anything to slur a Democrat. I hope you’re proud of yourself.

Actually, I’ve taken President Bush to task on a number of issues. The difference is in what we call a lie. I don’t think he lied about WMD when every major intelligence agency in the world said the same thing.

And what do you mean the way I THINK liberals treated Bush? They treated him poorly and now that they have won they want to be bipartisan and play nice. You have been as unfair as the rest.

I have no double standard. I happen to line up politically more with Bush than Obama so my references will be from that viewpoint.

However, for the left to call him Hitler, a Nazi, a chimp and any number of other negative portrayals and then expect that Obama will get a pass when he is involved in scandal or is untruthful or inaccurate is just a pipe dream.

I will not do anything to slur a Democrat and have been complimentary to some of them. As for chain mails and tin foil, nice try but these items are legitimate.

I seem to remember a zillion liberals crying about Bush’s National Guard record and nothing that was produced silenced them but now they remain silent on Obama’s birth certificate. Also seems to me that many on the left fell hook, line, and sinker for Dan Rather’s hit piece and when it was proven absolutely false said it did not matter because the content was true…

I know it is hard to see The One get attacked but I did not drink his Kool Aid.
