Sad State Of Education, In Adults

A local radio, WBAL, has a personality named Chip Franklin. He is a pretty funny guy and has a very interesting bio. He does this segment called Curb Your Intelligence where he asks people questions like, “Do you know who wrote George Washington’s autobiography?” The answers that people give are incredible. One guy did not know who the Vice President is and another person thought escrow was a snail.

You can listen to the segments here.

Kind of reminds me of Sean Hannity’s “Man on the Street” segments. Prior to the 2004 election, he was asking people questions such as, “Who is the Vice President of the United States” and “Who is the Secretary of State?” Such simple questions. . .however, the individuals who didn’t know were then asked, “Who are you voting for?” and I’ll be damned. . .every single one of them answered “Kerry.”

If it wasn’t so ridiculous and sad, it would be laughable!
