You can continue to believe that I go easier on Democrats than Republicans on issues of racism but that’s simply not the case. We’re not talking crimes here, we’re talking issues of speech and there are many factors involved. I have a lot easier time ignoring offensive statements made by people with good intention than I do statements made by people trying to tear folks down. I do not believe one offensive statement is automatically equal to another.
