In a move that surprised all but a few people, President Bush arrived in Iraq overnight. He was at Camp David discussing Iraq strategy when he begged off to go to bed. He then slipped out and was secretly moved to Air Force One. The President is in Iraq to provide support to the newly formed government and to see some of our troops.
What do you want to bet the left spins this into a “he went to Iraq to take people’s focus off his trouble, or to boost his poor poll numbers”? Al Gore and Bill Clinton will probably say it was an unnecessary waste of fuel, while they jet around the world.
