Military Pays In Many Ways

As Barack Obama apologized for the burning of the Koran, books used by prisoners to pass messages, Maryland Soldier Major Robert Marchanti was murdered in Afghanistan by an animal. Bob was murdered because a book was burned. He paid the ultimate price and his Commander in Chief is apologizing (as did the General in charge over there). Is the Afghani President apologizing over Bob’s murder? Hell no, he is calling for those who burned the books to be prosecuted.

Did anyone apologize when the US Army burned Bibles it confiscated from a soldier? No and Christians did not riot and kill people.

Perhaps we should start rioting to get what we want.

Bob Marchanti and I served together and he was my friend. It is tragic that he died and it hurts deeply to know he will never be with his family or friends again. It hurts more to know that he was murdered by someone he was helping and because someone burned a book.

Our military sacrifices everything for this country and that sacrifice sometimes includes their lives. We willingly go through the gates of hell to keep our country safe and free.

What thanks do the men and women of the military get from the people who run this country? They get slapped in the face as the politicians try to balance the budget on the backs of those who serve. While social welfare programs remain untouched the defense budget is hacked to pieces and the programs promised to veterans are going to cost them much more. The federal government is looking to increase the premiums veterans pay for health care.

Some claim that the goal is to force veterans into Obamacare. I don’t know (though it would not surprise me) and I don’t care.

Veterans have sacrificed a lot up front for benefits in the future and it is just flat out wrong for the government to break the promises it made to its warriors.

It is not my intention to use the death of my friend for political purposes. I would not dishonor him or his family by doing so.

However, his death reminds us of what sacrifice is and that we have commitments to those who serve.

Commitments that we should honor.

Rest in peace my friend. You served honorably and will be sorely missed.

Obama Pulls Race Card And Dusts Off The Black Vote

Barack Obama was supposed to be the post racial president but has proved to be anything but that as he and his regime divide this country along racial lines. The angry rhetoric from leaders in the black community coupled with the racist policies of the Department of Justice have given us a more divided country.

I have written before that Democrats do not care about their alleged constituencies. They have blocks of voters and they promise those voters everything under the sun when election season rolls around. They drum up support among those groups and then ignore them after the election is over. Obama received 95% of the black vote in 2008 (Democrats get about 90% anyway) and then he basically ignored them. Sure, his Justice Department allowed some to walk on serious criminal charges but for the most part Obama has focused his attention on rich people who could support him in his reelection.

If Obama focused on the black community then perhaps the unemployment rate among blacks would not be much higher than the national average. Perhaps black folks would be less dependent on government rather than MORE dependent. This is not the case because the black community, by and large, can’t do anything for Obama except vote. They will not be sending Warren Buffet like money to him.

So he will promise them the world once again and they will likely deliver. Many of his black supporters only voted for him because of his skin color and that will probably not change. As far as I am concerned, these folks are suffering and deserve what they get. You support someone who wants to keep you in bondage and you will remain in bondage.

It is election season again though and that can only mean that Obama is out pandering for the black vote. In fact, Obama is urging blacks to pressure their churches to support his administration (violation of First Amendment?) and has established an African Americans for Obama website (I will not link to it). He is pandering to them because he needs their votes even though he has done little for them since 2008.

Obama and the Democrats can target who they want as voters. If people want to be enslaved to government then they are free to vote for Obama and anyone else who will keep them shackled. The real issue is the race based targeting.

Imagine what would happen if any white candidate started a whites for [insert name here] strategy.

We know that the race baiting poverty pimps would be out in full force decrying the overt racism being displayed. Obama would fly around giving speeches about race while Chris Matthews had nonstop tingles up his leg. The world would discuss how these racists are backwards rednecks who want to keep the black man down.

And yet, the major players in the race hustling industry are silent as Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) plays the race card and involves himself in race identity politics.

The funny thing is that the Democrat’s education system has ensured that voters are not very bright so Obama will get nearly the same percentage of the black vote as he did in 2008.

He is pushing to increase the raw number of black voters.

Because he knows that he is in serious trouble and his racist inner self is showing.

One and done.

The Other Rich Need To Do Something

Moochelle Obama was out on the campaign trail, no doubt proud of her country for the first time in her life, and she was talking about how the rich need to do more for the poor. She is likely unaware that the top 50% of wage earners (the rich would be located at the top of that group) pay all the federal income taxes in this country and the bottom 50% get that tax money in the form of social programs. She is also probably not aware that social programs enacted by Democrats have enslaved people to government and kept them from achieving.

Obama asked:

“Will we be a country where success is limited to the few at the top? This country is strongest when we are all better off.” Washington Examiner

Obama is not aware that success is not limited to the few at the top. Anyone in America who has the desire and the education can succeed. What Obama really means is are we going to allow people on welfare to get fewer benefits because the rich are already taxed too much? Yes, the rich pay most of the federal taxes in this country and progressives have redistributed that money for all kinds of unconstitutional and unnecessary programs in the name of social justice.

They do not care that their programs keep people enslaved. Let me rephrase, they care but not for the reasons sane people would. They care because they want, no they NEED, people to be enslaved to government. It is how they continue to get people voting for them and their agenda to rob the rich to pay the poor. Theirs is a plan that has always led to failure. It has taken nearly a century but the failure of Democrat social programs becomes more evident each day. It will only get worse.

The ironic thing is that Obama and her hubby, Barack, are both rich and they also live life high on the hog on taxpayer money. Moochelle goes on expensive vacations (16 in the last three years, some with her husband, some without) that cost the taxpayers lots of money. The argument that it is part of the gig does not hold water. We are in tough economic times and we cannot afford such extravagance. If Obama and her hubby want people to sacrifice (they keep saying we all need to sacrifice – shared sacrifice they call it) they need to lead by example. Every few weeks she is off on another trip with hoards of people and he is on a golf course someplace. Sacrifice, yes for you but not for them. They are American royalty, after all.

Another ironic thing is that Moochelle was saying all of this to people who are very wealthy and who paid a lot of money to hear her talk. The money was raised to help keep her husband in office.

It was probably a drop in the bucket since Barack has been using billions of dollars in taxpayer money to buy votes and get donations. His waste of taxpayer money on green energy companies that end up going out of business and leaving the taxpayer with billions in losses is a scheme to get him more campaign cash. This is also true of his union bailouts and gifts of taxpayer money.

This group of thugs is a criminal enterprise. It is nothing more than Chicago style politics and that means it is corrupt from beginning to end.

Maybe instead of asking the wealthy to sacrifice more than they already have Moochelle could ask unpatriotic folks who pay NO taxes to pony up and get some skin in the game.

And maybe she and hubby could give up those expensive meals they love to stuff in their faces

It is hard to discuss how we are all better off by having the rich sacrifice more when the Obamas routinely eat $150 a POUND Wagyu steak.

Moochelle does not care if we are all better off as long as she is better off.

I guess she is living in one of those two Americas John Edwards used to talk about.

And you can bet your paycheck that it is not the poor one and that she wants to stay there and that she does not care where you are.

It is how progressives work. They use class warfare to pit people against each other. They pretend to worry about the poor while pushing policies that keep people in poverty (or in the case of Barack, put even more people in poverty) and they work hard to make sure they are wealthy and remain that way.

Let’s fire them in November and put some people with class in the White House.

Senator Joseph McCarthy Was Right

Vladimir Putin (a former Soviet spy) took the time to praise Soviet scientists for their work in stealing US nuclear secrets. Putin praised how these scientists were able to walk out with suitcases full of our secret nuclear information which allowed the Communist country to more rapidly develop its own nuclear weapons.

Senator Joseph McCarthy spent much of his career trying to flush out Communists in our government. He was attacked for this and many folks, particularly the left, feel he was on a witch hunt.

Turns out that history has shown McCarthy was right. There were plenty of Communists in our government and they did damage to this nation. Putin’s praise of his spies is public acknowledgement that McCarthy was right but it is just a small part of the actual number of Communists who were here to do us harm.

Hell, there are still Communists in our government. The big difference is that they are open about it and instead of hurting us by helping other countries they are actively working to directly harm this nation. Van Jones is a prime example. He is no longer directly in government but he still has lots of influence with the other Socialists and Communists here.

McCarthy was right but the left attacked him instead of going after the Communists.

History is repeating itself except today our government is infiltrated by radical Islamic Extremists, many of them invited by Barack Obama who openly welcomes the Muslim Brotherhood into our government. What kind of harm will they do to this nation?

Joseph McCarthy was an American hero. Will someone step up and take his place?

Or will we have a radical Muslim leader one day praising the efforts of their spies as they stake claim to the ruins of America?

Create A Crisis And The Exploit It

Another poor schmuck who follows Islam appears to be the latest patsy of the FBI. Amine El Khalifi, who is in this country ILLEGALLY, had made statements in groups of Muslims that the war on terror was a war with Islam and that they needed to be prepared. An informant told this to the FBI and they set up a sting in which they provided Khalifi with an inoperable weapon and an inert bomb vest.

I imagine this guy had leanings against America but it seems to me he did not necessarily intend to act upon them until the FBI planted the idea by making him think he was working with an al-Qaeda operative. I am not sure but to me it seems this is another person who might have been entrapped.

In any event, he was arrested when he went toward the Capital to carry out “his” plan.

A few days later we learn that the government will spend $7.8 MILLION to make the Capitol building a fortress. It will be upgraded so that it can be closed down quickly and the poor little Congress Critters can be locked safely inside.

Maybe, just maybe, the patsy was selected and enticed to do this so that the money could be appropriated for this and people would not question it. After all, it is a lot easier to sell this kind of expense when there was a “credible” threat. The people might not otherwise be on board with such a move.

But why would Congress want the Capitol to be fortified? Perhaps they are concerned about citizens getting fed up with them and doing something. Big Sis has already labeled just about everyone a terrorist and that means they might just do something bad.

But Congress could not appropriate that kind of money and make those fortifications by claiming that they need to protect themselves from the citizenry. Any improvements without explanation would draw the ire of folks and lead to speculation that the place was being secured against citizens.

So a plan was needed. Enter the patsy and the FBI and bang, you have a ready made reason to spend money to secure the Capitol and the public is none the wiser.

Why should those morons be any safer than the rest of us?

Amine El Khalifi was held without bail:

Magistrate Judge John Anderson said there are no conditions under which El Khalifi should be released at this time both because of the seriousness of the charge against him and because the defendant is in the U.S. illegally. CNN

I guess we now know what an ILLEGAL has to do to get Congress and the Judiciary to act.

If he was a drunk driver who killed a family of four on their way to vacation he would be out in a few hours.

Unless the family was that of a member of Congress.

Or a Judge.
