It has been brewing since Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain’s running mate. What has been brewing is the vile hatred that all liberals harbor for people who are not like them. They treat everyone who does not fall into their line of thinking like second class citizens and this includes people in their own party. Couple their natural nastiness with their desire to right their history of wronging blacks and you come up with some pretty nasty things.

A college professor assigned his students the task of writing something negative about Sarah Palin.

Sandra Bernhard, who some call a comedian, lit into Saracuda in one of her routines saying that Sarah Palin [should] not to come into Manhattan lest she get gang-raped by some of Sandra’s big black brothers.

Now that is true class. I get nasty humor and I can tolerate some of the comedians who use lots of vulgar words and refer to the objects of their attacks in mean spirited ways but something about gang rape jokes just sets wrong with me. Not only does it portray a stereotype of blacks in the hood as how they were seen in the old south but it refers to a violent crime against women. Bernhard is this really ugly woman who looks like she has been at the end of a crack pipe and heroin needle for way too long and her mouth spews nothing but vulgarity. If people want to pay to see that it is their business but I think the gang rape comments are way over the line. Maybe the next time she says it a stage light will fall and crush her. Now that would be comical.

Next up we have Charlie Rangel, tax evading Congressman from New York. When asked why Democrats were afraid of Palin and her popularity he answered that you have to be kind to the disabled.

A United States Congressman called a candidate for the Vice Presidency disabled. Now politics is not for the feint of heart but one would think that Rangel would not make that kind of comment considering Palin has a child with Trisomy 21. It is also astonishing that a member of the party that bills itself as all inclusive would insult the millions of people who are disabled. Rangel’s comments insulted the blind, the deaf, the mentally ill, the mentally retarded, people with countless other maladies and he disrespected and insulted the members of America’s military who are disabled as a result of their service to this country. Since liberalism is a mental disorder, he also insulted a lot of people who vote for his party.

Charlie Rangel should be spending his time trying to figure out how he is going to avoid jail time for evading taxes.

I am willing to bet that Sarah Palin has not used her elected office to get rich and buy investment properties. I am willing to bet that Palin has paid her taxes in full and on time. I am also willing to bet that Palin does not have a taxpayer funded pimp mobile to ride around Harlem (the place Bernhard’s rapist friends reside) and while Rangel was gaming the system and screwing people out of their hard earned money Palin was selling off taxpayer funded luxuries in order to save them money.

Rangel might think Plain is disabled but the Congressman from Harlem is just stupid. If the morons who keep supporting him put him back in office then he can deal with Vice President Palin starting next year.

Liberals are pro choice. Bernhard’s and Rangel’s mothers obviously made the wrong one.

Liberals are unhinged at the selection of Sarah Palin. They are showing their true colors and their hatred for people who do not think like they do. They are hypocrites who are anything but the inclusive and diverse group they claim to be.

In midst of all the turmoil on Wall Street when Americans are looking to their elected leaders to finally do something, the Democratically controlled Congress is set to recess and leave the mess for the Fed and the Treasury. The House will adjourn on the 26^th and the Senate a week later and they will not reconvene until after the national election in November where they will diddle around for a few weeks and leave for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They call this the do nothing Congress for a reason.

The Democrats want you to believe that they are fit to lead this country. They want you to believe that they are equipped to handle the problems facing America. In two important items facing us they have the same general plan and that plan is retreat. They want to pull the troops out of Iraq and hand them a defeat (though Obama does not want the Iraqis negotiating for this right now can you say - treason). They also want to retreat from the mess that they caused on Wall Street.

Make no mistake about it, the Democrats are the reason we have this mess. They can call it failed policies of George Bush but that is incorrect. The whole mess was out in place under Bill Clinton. He and his Democrats made it easy for people to get loans regardless of their creditworthiness. Now those people can’t pay their loans. Couple this with the number of Democrats who held positions of power in Fannie and Freddie, people who raped us to the tune of millions, and you have the perfect storm. Throw in a little corporate greed and mix it with Democrats ignoring warnings from Bush and McCain and you end up with the mess we are seeing.

The Democrats are criticizing George Bush, John McCain and the Republican party for this mess but they are doing nothing to fix it. They talk about failed policies but the only thing the Democrats have offered came from Democratic Senator Harry Reid who said; “no one knows what to do.”

This is a supposed leader and he is saying no one knows what to do. Senator, the thing to do was to have tighter control five years ago when George Bush wanted it. Instead, you Democrats played games. To give you the benefit of the doubt though, maybe no one knows quite what to do but I can assure you this, going home is not the proper course of action. I know all you pampered idiots are tired from all the work you have done after returning from your FIVE WEEK VACATION but going home is not acceptable. Real leaders would stay and get this resolved.

Then again, no one ever accused Democrats of being leaders.

No one knows what to do so let’s go home and watch it on the news.

Keep both chambers of Congress in session as long as it takes to get things in order. Anyone who leaves in the midst of this does not deserve your vote.

The Democrats all talk about leadership and how they are ready to lead the country. It would appear that the only thing they will lead is the way out of the Capitol so they can take another vacation.

OK, he did not use those exact words but he did basically say that even with this turmoil the place to invest is the United States.

There are good sovereign wealth funds and bad sovereign wealth funds because there are bad and good countries. They’re buying because of the security in the United States. Even with volatility this is still a place people want to put their money. This is a very stable democracy with a fundamental economy which has been damaged now but which we expect to come back. First thing to know is that I do not cite Frank as an expert or because I agree with him (though I think this turmoil presents great buying opportunities). He is certainly no genius when it comes to this crisis. This was the guy who, in 2003, said that there were no problems with Fannie and Freddie. He said this as President Bush was trying to impose tighter control over these entities. We see where Frank’s expert opinion got us.

No, I cite this because Barack Obama has been all over John McCain for saying that our economy is fundamentally sound and Frank is alluding to the very same thing. Notice that Obama is not jumping all over Frank (ahem).

The Democrats own this mess. They are the ones responsible and they ignored George Bush and later John McCain when they raised concerns. We need to keep force feeding this to the public because they all believe that this is the fault of George Bush. It is obvious that Democrats did not want the tighter controls because they benefited from cozy relationships with the heads of these entities.

“They had some forewarning and they chose to take action.” The defenders of the crescent also have forewarning, and are trying to cover it up.

Gordon Felt, president of the Flight 93 family group that supports the crescent shaped memorial, offered a nice summary statement of the heroism of Flight 93:

They had some forewarning and they chose to take action.

“It’s that citizen soldier, heroism message,” he said “that we want to get out and memorialize their actions.”

Mr. Felt also has forewarning of an enemy plot, but he and the other defenders of the crescent design are choosing not to act. They are displaying a perfect anti-spirit of Flight 93.

According to Flight 93 Advisory Commission member Tim Baird, they all know that all of our basic claims about the crescent design are accurate: the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent; the 44 translucent blocks that are to be placed along the flight path, etcetera. Yet they and their allies in the press are doing everything in their power to keep the public from knowing what they know.

Example 1: PA paper reports Mecca orientation controversy, omits its own verification of the Mecca orientation of the crescent.

In last week’s anniversary coverage of the 9/11 attacks, the Johnstown Tribune Democrat noted the controversy over the orientation of the crescent. We say it points to Mecca. The Park Service denies it:

The project also has been dogged by complaints spearheaded by California author Alec Rawls that the memorial points to Mecca and is a veiled tribute to the Islamic terrorists – a claim family members and developers maintain has been investigated and refuted.

What reporter Kirk Swauger fails to mention is that he himself fact-checked the Mecca-orientation claim last year, and published his findings:

Rawls maintains that the midpoint between the tips of the crescent points almost precisely toward “qibla,” the direction to Mecca, which Muslims are supposed to face for prayer.

His claims seem to be backed up by coordinates for the direction of qibla from Somerset that can be found on Islam.com. When superimposed over the crescent in the memorial design, the midpoint points over the Arctic Circle, through Europe toward Mecca.

This is the only instance in three years now where any news organization has ever published any fact-checking of our easy to fact check claims about the memorial design. Alec has several times emailed Kirk’s published confirmation of the Mecca-orientation to every newsdesk in Pennsylvania and to every reporter covering the memorial story. They ALL know about it. Yet even Kirk continues to present the Mecca orientation claim as a “he said, she said” conflict, without letting his readers know that he has verified the Mecca-orientation for himself (and this isn’t the first time he has made this omission).

If Mr. Swauger really wanted everyone to forget his confirmation of the Mecca-orientation, he could just avoid any mention of the orientation of the crescent at all. Alec’s best guess is that Kirk is being held back by Tribune Democrat editor Chip Minemyer, who has tried to sweep the memorial controversy under the rug from day one, but the reporters are also neck deep. Several have suggested that to investigate and report on the accuracy of our claims would be taking sides. Of course that phony “scruple” would disappear in a second if the facts showed our criticisms to be bogus.

Example 2: Gordon Felt himself misled the public about the 44 blocks.

The Crescent of Embrace design, now called the (broken) Circle of Embrace, calls for a total of 44 inscribed translucent memorial blocks to be placed along the flight path. (There were forty passengers and crew on Flight 93 and four terrorists.)

In trying to get this information out to the public, we need to be brief, so “44 inscribed translucent memorial blocks” sometimes gets shortened to “44 glass blocks,” or “44 blocks.” Asked last spring about the 44 blocks, Gordon Felt declared it a lie:

Opponents also claim there is a plan to have 44 glass blocks — for the 40 victims and four hijackers — in the design.

“That’s an absolute, unequivocal fabrication that is being portrayed as fact,” said Edward Felt’s brother, Gordon Felt, president of Families of Flight 93. “It’s misleading and helps drive the conspiracy theory.”

But he follows this denial with a footnote, indicating that he knows full well that there will be 44 memorial blocks:

Felt said the names of the passengers and crew will be placed on the memorial, but no final decision has been made on how they would be displayed or on what material.

In other words, he is nit-picking over our occasional description of the blocks as “glass blocks,” when they might not all be technically made of glass.

As Alec’s original report to the Memorial Project made clear, 43 of the blocks are described in the design drawings as “polished, translucent white marble”:

The lower section of wall, on the left, contains forty of the “translucent white marble” blocks or panels (backlit at night), inscribed with the names of the forty heroes. The upper section of wall, on the right, contains three more blocks, inscribed with the 9/11 date.

That upper section of wall, by the way, is centered on the bisector of the giant crescent, placing it in the exact position of the star on an Islamic crescent and star flag. Thus the date goes to the Islamic star. The date goes to the terrorists.

Here is the 44th block on the flight path. It marks the upper crescent tip, where according to the Park Service’s own website, the flight path symbolically breaks our (Christian) circle, turning it into the giant (Mecca oriented) crescent. A clearer depiction of al Qaeda victory is hard to imagine, and it all comes together right here:

At the end of the Entry Portal Walkway (after the walkway symbolically “breaks” the towering Entry Portal Walls) sits a large “glass memorial plaque” that dedicates the entire site.

This 44th translucent block on the flight path marks the spot where the terrorists symbolically broke our harmonious circle and turned it into a giant Islamic shaped crescent. To be inscribed: “A field of honor forever.”

Gordon Felt knows ALL of this, and is trying to keep the public from knowing. It’s as if someone on Flight 93, hearing from the ground that airplanes had crashed into the Trade Towers, insisted to the other passengers that NO airplanes had crashed into the Trade Towers.

Apparently grief has made these people crazy. They have forewarning, and are struggling with all their might to keep others from being forewarned as well.

I have read all the rantings over John McCain’s ads last week and how some people say they are full of lies. People lost their minds when John McCain accurately stated that Barack Obama wanted to teach sex education to kindergarten children. Obama and his supporters claim that it only dealt with inappropriate touching so children would know when someone was doing something wrong. Turns out that the curriculum that Obama wanted followed is absolutely inappropriate for children of that age and goes way beyond protection of children.

But the yappers were out screaming and when Karl Rove said that both campaigns were taking one step too far and distorting the truth the liberals, who live with their heads stuck someplace that blocks their ears, only picked up the part about McCain. Then they actually agreed with Rove, something I never thought I would see. Obama vowed to fight back. He is going to hit hard. Actually, he is just putting out statements taken out of context and telling lies. That is all OK but it would be nice if the same liberals who cried about their perception of McCain lying would go after The One.

I guess they don’t really have to go after him. Barack Obama did something really stupid today. He put out an ad that targeted Hispanics and the ad is in Spanish. The ad criticizes McCain and says he lied to the illegals. One can debate McCain’s record of reaching out to the Hispanic community. His support for amnesty was a major reason people were not enthusiastic with his nomination. If not for Sarah Palin, McCain would be toast. No, Obama can lie, in fact he did, about McCain’s record because this is politics and that is what happens. When a man runs scared he abandons his principles. No, Obama attacked Rush Limbaugh and he used two quotes from Limbaugh completely out of context. The use is so inaccurate that there is no way to look at it except as a deliberate distortion of the record; a lie.

Just so people know, the ad indicates that Limbaugh said “…stupid and unskilled Mexicans” and “You shut your mouth or you get out!”

The problem with this is that they are completely out of context. Here is what was said:

Railing against NAFTA in 1993, Limbaugh said, “If you are unskilled and uneducated, your job is going south. Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine ’cause those are the kinds of jobs NAFTA is going to create. If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people, I’m serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do — let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work.”

Not one of his most eloquent moments, to be sure, but his larger point was that NAFTA would mean that unskilled stupid Mexicans would be doing the jobs of unskilled stupid Americans.

“And another thing: You don’t have the right to protest. You’re allowed no demonstrations, no foreign flag waving, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our President or his policies. You’re a foreigner: shut your mouth or get out! And if you come here illegally, you’re going to jail. ABC

Limbaugh said that if there are jobs for stupid and unskilled people then stupid and unskilled Mexicans can do them rather than stupid and unskilled Americans. The second part is when he is telling people the Mexican immigration law. He is telling people what the Mexican government’s position is. People do not have to agree with the point of view he expressed but Stevie Wonder can see that the Obama ad is a huge, deliberate lie.

Why is this a mistake for Obama? Barack Obama has to pay for airtime when he wants to run an ad. Every time he wants to put up an ad it costs him money. Rush Limbaugh has three hours of airtime each and every workday and he does not have to pay to get it. In fact they pay him to be on. Admittedly, Limbaugh has been on Obama’s case but truth be told, until McCain picked Palin Limbaugh was not on board with him. I don’t think McCain and Limbaugh like each other.

The point though, is that Limbaugh could unleash on Obama for three hours a day and he could have all those authors on for interviews. You know, the ones that Obama supporters try to shut down on orders from The One; the Constitutional lawyer who wants to deny others their right to express their views. Yes, Limbaugh could start taking all kinds of Obama quotes and using them out of context and he could keep playing that stuff for three hours a day, five days a week and it would not cost him a dime.

Obama would be forced to answer some of the allegations especially when they start going on the Internet and become viral. I just don’t think it was smart of Obama to pick a fight with a guy who talks for a living, reaches tens of millions of people a week, and has all the airtime and resources he wants to attack as much as he wants.

It was a boneheaded thing for Obama to do. Before anyone dismisses Limbaugh’s audience as a bunch of conservatives, he attracts a lot of Independents and that is the demographic that will decide the election. He might even convert some of the liberals who listen to him (we know they are there).

Do you suppose the same media that just last week called McCain sleazy will have the same to say about Obama?
