I was not married Catholic as they wanted six months of classes to ensure my marriage would last and the Army did not afford that amount of time. 28 years later and I am still married (yes to the same person) and that is better than more than 50% of the people who attended those classes. If the Church wants to deny me communion that is fine. There are many Christian churches and I worship God regardless of which Christian religion is involved.
