Obama, Well Oiled And Fully Engaged

How engaged has the messiah been since the oil spill disaster?

Here is a detailed accounting of the days since it happened. That man is fully engaged and if there is ever a spill on a golf course he will be on top of it.

Never surrender, never submit.

Yes, a picture and a short caption for each day! That sounds like a “detailed accounting” to me for sure. Except wait, where are details about the numerous meetings held and reports created and assessments done? Your link doesn’t mention any of those. I’m starting to think your link is a load of manure…

  2. FairWitness says:

There are two separate issues vis a vis the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Capping the leak, which British Petroleum Corporation must accomplish.

Then there’s the protection of our coastlines and wetlands, along with the clean up. THAT is where the Obama Administration is dropping the ball. They can do something about this, they have the Army Corps of Engineers and the US Coast Guard, not to mention the US Navy.

The military knows how to deal with catastrophes of this magnitude. Why hasn’t the President, our Commander In Chief, brought these government resources together and formulated a plan of action and implemented it???? It’s been 7 weeks, for crying out loud.

What about relief for the suffering fisherman and tourism businesses? Emergency funds are available if that jackass of a President would declare a disaster in the gulf.

Obama is incompetent, for sure. But, worse than that, the man just doesn’t give a damn about the massive damage being done to the entire Gulf coastline, animals or suffering Americans. THE SON OF A B*TCH WOULD RATHER PLAY GOLF & BASKETBALL, EAT FANCY MEALS, GO ON VACATION & HOLD LAVISH PARTIES FOR HIS CRONIES!

Why the F**K did he run for President???? He obviously doesn’t want to do the job!

    • Big Dog says:

He ran so he could do those things at the expense of the taxpayer. You don’t expect him to actually foot the bill himself, now do you?

  3. Big Dog says:

With travel time and a 5 hour golf round, how much time is left. He has to have the parties and get ready for the visitors.

He is responsible for this clean up so he better get on it.

Bush had meetings during Katrina but your side ignored that and blamed him for not fixing it.

    • Adam says:

“Bush had meetings during Katrina but your side ignored that and blamed him for not fixing it.”

Personally I blamed Bush more for his failed response to the Katrina situation early on and less with the aftermath. Later on the state and federal government dropped the ball again on the recovery from Katrina but those are two different pieces of the puzzle.

Obama (despite what you’ve said) did all he could do in response to the oil spill early on. Fire booms would have helped a little but only barely. They were never designed to work that far out at sea and in those weather conditions.

It’s too soon to say if Obama will be any more successful in the aftermath of the oil spill than Bush was with the Katrina recovery. I don’t mind saying that so far I’m pretty unimpressed with it. As a Democrat, when even Carville is mad at you, you know you’re doing something wrong…

      • Blake says:

You would blame Bush for ANYTHING- Bush could not do much early on- the Constitution prohibits the federalization of the State National Guard, or federal “meddling” unless ASKED BY THE STATE.
Blanco was negligent, as was “Chocklate City” Nagin- they all said they had it under control.
You REALLY should read the Constitution sometime.

  4. It has never been clearer that Barack Hussein Obama, however must he wanted to be president, has never comprehended what it takes to do president.

HOT FLASH TO OBAMA: Giving lots of public speeches is just a perk of the job, not the job itself.

  5. Big Dog says:

So Bush pleading with Blanco to let the feds help was an early failure? The response was largely a failure due to state and local. The feds had to clean up more because of the inept leadership at the state and local level.

Later on? MILLIONS of dollars that were wasted locally…

  6. MissPolite says:

Adam you were starting to make a little sense until you started quoting SNOPES.
SNOPES is a website that is run by a woman and her husband who are politically biased and work out of their basement, and hardly do any research, unless it entails looking things up on the internet.
    Shame.

    • Adam says:

Clearly you’re misinformed about Snopes. The problem is just that the facts have a well known liberal bias.

      • Big Dog says:

The fact is Snopes does have a liberal bias. That is evident in some of the things they report as unverifiable, or undetermined. Some they find as true or false despite evidence to the contrary.

But it is a good starting place and helps to debunk obvious items. It is just shaky when discussing politics.

  7. Big Dog says:

Sure, Snopes has all the info that the After Action Report does not or the things the members of the Coast Guard or Red Cross had to say.

    Yeah Snopes.

Made up. Perhaps but funny you would say that and then believe Obama when he said he was engaged from day one.

The Coast Guard logs say otherwise…

    • Adam says:

Feel free to post links or quotes to your info that discredits the info in my link. Simply laughing the source off doesn’t mean much this time around if you can’t show why it’s wrong.

  8. Big Dog says:

Find what Snopes used as a source and see if it is credible. Snopes just searches the internet and gives its opinion (and often a left leaning one). What is their source. I have posted those links and those sources plenty of times in the past when you erroneously blame the Katrina debacle on Bush and ignore Blanco and Nagin.

And if you can get that AAR, you read it.

    • Adam says:

“The fact is Snopes does have a liberal bias. That is evident in some of the things they report as unverifiable, or undetermined.”

Feel free to cite any said cases of bias or citing of unverifiable things.

“And if you can get that AAR, you read it.”

You’ll have to post a link. I don’t know what you’re asking me to read exactly.

I see Adam was over at Meathead’s bashing me again. Anyone who would associate with that little troll is a moron. I would like to meet him someday. He would look good in a body cast. Meathead, not Adam. I have met Adam already when he was a mush head college kid. Now he is a mush head working stiff but does not deserve a body cast.

Meathead should be beaten to a pulp just because he is an ignorant moron.

BTW Meaty, how do those job numbers look now? FAILED STIMULUS moron.

Still jealous you are like one millionth in the blogosphere and are moderated here? Meathead is a waste of flesh. I wish I had kept my dog on a leash the night his mother was walking through town and Meaty would not have been born.

        • Adam says:

I don’t say anything there that I don’t say to you here already so I don’t see any problem with it. 😉

          • Big Dog says:

As usual, you were spreading the same misinformation that you spread here. You claimed that the unemployment rate was already over 8% when Obama signed the stimulus so that his regime’s earlier predictions that it would not go above 8% were known to be wrong but that we keep hitting him for it.

You are, of course, mistaken and spreading misinformation. When Obama signed the Stimulus into law the unemployment rate was under 8%. He signed it on 17 Feb 2009 so the only unemployment numbers available as of that date were for Jan 2009 (Feb’s rate did not come out until March). In January 2009 the unemployment rate for the country was 7.7% which is below 8%. According to Obama’s peeps, the stimulus should have prevented us from going over 8% and yet, when the February numbers came out (in March) they were over 8%.

You can spin that all you want but it is misinformation at best and a lie at worst to say that the unemployment rate was already over 8% when he signed the bill since the only KNOWN number at the time was under that.

Obama’s peeps and his papers made the claim. It was all designed to force the stimulus through so that he could pay off those he owed. Never let that crisis go to waste and all.

You can look back at a chart and claim the UE rate was greater than 8% but you are misrepresenting the facts since that number was not known until 2 weeks after the bill was signed into law. Obambam and his peeps were hoping that the rate would go down but it did not. They said the stimulus would do it and it did not. They made claims because they know not what they are talking about.

They might hit their jobs numbers if the census goes on for a few years…

        • Adam says:

“BTW Meaty, how do those job numbers look now? FAILED STIMULUS moron.”

Explain that though because I’m confused.

          • Big Dog says:

About 90% of them were census worker. You know, temporary government jobs that provide no taxe revenue and will be gone in a few months. Other sectors (ie: jobs in the private sector) were down once again.

Now even the Obama loyalists are saying we are headed for a double dip recession and other problems (as I said all along).

          • Big Dog says:

“World stock markets tumbled Monday and the euro hit a new four-year low in the wake of poor U.S. jobs figures and amid fresh fears that the debt crisis that began in Greece is spreading to Hungary.”

From the AP, another state run media outlet.

            • Adam says:

“Other sectors (ie: jobs in the private sector) were down once again.”

Down again? Nobody sane has said the May report was outstanding but if you’re saying that positive job growth for 5 straight months somehow means the stimulus failed because May created only +41,000 private sector jobs then I still don’t know your reasoning there. The stimulus has been successful in some areas, a failure in others. You’ll never see that because you called it a failure the day it passed and you can’t get past your partisan arguments on it.

“Now even the Obama loyalists are saying we are headed for a double dip recession and other problems (as I said all along).”

There was always a chance of a double dip. Even Paul Krugman has been saying so for a long time. It’s been a tough few weeks for the markets but I don’t see your point still. So the markets can never tumble and never re-adjust or else it shows there’s a recession coming and the stimulus failed? You’ve been saying so many bad things would happen that one or two of them are bound to happen somehow. Even a stopped watch is right twice a day.

I don’t know meathead but he must be one cool cat. What’s his blog address? I gotta see what Dog is so upset about. Has to be funny.

Dog- how come you never stop by the Pirate’s Cove? You’d love it over there. The blogs author (Screech) rants and raves about the same sh!t you do. The past few weeks he’s been moaning and groaning about California and how they can piss off as far as he’s concerned. Then he goes to L.A. for a vacation. What an idiot! You should have invited him to Arizona with you this summer.

    PEACE

    • Big Dog says:

Meathead’s claim to fame is the use of the F word. He is a moron who takes things out of context and maniplates what people say. He, like you, is moderated because he feels he has the right to say what he wants regardless of rules.

  10. Bunny Colvin says:

Body cast? Why not just go all the way, Dog? You wish death on old ladies like Helen Thomas but not meathead? Like they say in the Karate Kid, “put him in a body bag, Doggie”. (Not a body cast).

What is his blog address? And come visit the Pirate’s Cove, Dog. I’m telling you, you’d be much happier over there than letting meathead drive you crazy. It’s obvious he’s got your number.

    PEACE

Adam, what is your excuse for Obama TRIPLING the deficit?
I don’t see you screaming about that, but I bet you were first in line to scream about Bush starting a war!!!
