Obama Takes Teleprompter On The Road

Barack Obama is a great speaker so long as he is reading from a teleprompter. When he is out in the open and has to speak without the words written out he stumbles like a drunk with no feet. Obama introduced Biden as the next president, told us His faith was Muslim, and has had more uhhs and umms than actual words and refuses to do town hall type debates with McCain (despite claiming that these are debates he is ready to have).

Looks like Obama was off message yesterday and told the world that he (Obama) would win a contest of negative ads.

“If we’re going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily.” ABC

Yep, let him go off a teleprompter and he says a lot of things he does not want to get around.

So what is The One to do? Why, take the teleprompter on the road of course. This will surely help him get his message out. As long as he can use Stalinist tactics to keep anyone opposed to him from speaking then he might have a chance (imagine the leftist uproar if McCain sent out emails asking supporters to shut down a person opposed to him).

Obama is an empty suit who has now admitted that he is the sleaze doctor in this campaign. And since the left has already decided that it is OK to use half sentences to portray a different image, they won’t mind if a new McCain ad uses this entire quote.

After all, America deserves to hear the words straight from the Messiah’s mouth.

Your meanes is surpassed by your idiocy. He meant that he will with the contest of questions. Not that he will win the promulgation of ads. Hey you tried.

  2. Big Dog says:

I know what he meant but the Obama campaign set the standard to allow us to use things out of context or half sentences.

I don’t care what he meant, I know what he said.

On the road again, I just can’t wait to get on the road again…

Are you sure you really want to have this debate?

Palin not only needs a teleprompter, they won’t even release her to the press or into unsripted situations. The reason, of course, is that she knows even less than McCain about the issues. Don’t believe me? Watch this discussion from last December and watch her again try to evade answering questions (like she did with the bush Doctrine) about things like health care (‘it’s such a big issue we can’t even discuss it on teevee’, around minute 16), etc.

    Here

I noticed on CNN yesterday they showed Obama, biden, and McCain all addressing the Wall Street Meltdown. Conspicuously absent, of course, was Palin, who probably doesn’t even know what the Federal Reserve is or what the SEC does. I think she stuck to her RNC script that day and just kept lying to her supporters’ faces about ‘that bridge to Nowhere’ that she was for before she was against it.

It would be great though if McCain/Palin won. Palin will surely become President and then, just as she’s has done in Alaska, she’ll staff her government with her high school friends, including one at the Agricultural Commission whose primary qualification, aside from being a real estate agent, was that she liked cows. I can’t wait to see who President Palin puts in charge of the Federal Reserve! I’m guessing her biology lab partner who once had a part time job as a bank teller.

Billy Joe, learn how to make hyperlinks.

Palin did not have a telepropmter with Gibson and the one at the convention was turned off half way through her speech.  She does fine without it.  I have already discussed the Bush Doctrine which has at least 4 definitions and CBS validated Palin when it used a different one than Gibson.

I know it is tough when your only information comes from Kos and the DNC but you will wise up one day.  Are you saying that Bill Clinton never appointed people who were his friends, like the rodeo clown who ran a part of FEMA?
You think Obama will not appoint political cronies?

Attack but she has more experience than Obama.

Can we have Hillary back now..please?   You know the person who can take written questions out of a fishbowl and answer them on the spot.

There is nothing noteworthy on this campaign from either side.  I find Obama’s ads just as disingenuous and misleading just as they were in the primary.
