Obama Still Blames Bush

The country elected an inexperienced Socialist to the White House and it is evident each and every day that this was a mistake. Obama is unable to accept responsibility for anything and points fingers outward all the time. Ironically, he was the one who criticized the companies involved in the oil spill for pointing fingers.

Obama’s favorite target is George Bush. When something goes wrong Obama is quick to point out that Bush did it and it is all his fault. Obama ignores his own fault and rewrites history every chance he gets. His latest take is that the Republicans were responsible for the economic problems despite the best effort of Democrats to keep the ship right. This smacks in the face of reality since it was Republicans who warned about problems with the financial sector and Democrats who said that things were fundamentally sound and that there were no problems.

Barney Frank is now rewriting history by saying he never called for home ownership for all and just wanted people to be able to rent homes. This is a blatant lie. He called for mortgages to be given to low income families. Mortgages, for the challenged, are what people take out when they buy a home, not rent one.

Obama is working on his plan for the upcoming election and that plan is to blame it all on Bush. Obama will try to pin the problems the country has faced over the last nearly two years on Bush even though he [Obama] had fool proof majorities in the House and Senate and failed to get much done. His party is responsible for the high unemployment and though he will try to spin that, the reality is unemployment is much higher than under Bush and is higher than Obama said it would be when the Democrats passed the now failed stimulus package.

Obama tried to pin things on Bush in Virginia and New Jersey and he lost both governors. He tried this tack with Massachusetts and lost a Senate seat held by Democrats for nearly five decades.

Obama got away with blaming Bush for problems right after he took office but at some point people have to look at things and decide that they are now Obama’s issues. That point has been crossed and people are no longer buying the blame Bush mentality. Well, except for the rabid base that thinks Bush is responsible for all the bad in the world.

The sane among us know differently. When the election rolls around the Democrats will have had control of Congress for nearly four years and the White House for nearly two. The Democrats were in charge when things went south and they took complete control and drove things deeper into the abyss. Their years of pandering to people and redistributive policies have caused problems for the economy and our society as a whole.

But Obama will ignore all of this and blame it all on Bush.

What do you expect from a man who claims that his regime thwarted several terrorist attacks when the reality is the attackers were too inept to detonate their devices. The only thing that saved people was blind luck. That is what happens when the most transparent regime fails to provide intelligence information in accordance with the law.

And luck is not proper mission planning.

Not to worry, he can blame that on Bush as well…

  1. Obama has held nothing but responsibility-free positions, in which neither a refund nor a correction nor even an apology was ever required of him no matter how badly he screwed up. How, then, shall he learn to take responsibility? It’s a bit like expecting a lifelong desert-dweller to know how to swim. But then, socialism has always been the ideology of no responsibility for its fruits.

We must neuter this man, and no later than November, lest he destroy the country beyond repair.

Barrie is soooooo incompetent, that he couldn’t find his own butt with both hands and a GPS-
Not to mention, his political positions are anathema to a vast majority of the country.
I have to laugh at all of those people who were hoodwinked into voting for him, because the buyer’s remorse right now is HUGE, and I LOVE to point out how these lackeys, (some of whom are union members), voted blindly, not listening to this socialist’s words.
I did, and warned people every chance I got.
I can’t tell you the number of people who have reluctantly admitted that I was right.
When you can’t vote for someone who benefits the country, you vote for the one who would do the LEAST damage. That would have been McCain- I admit he was a weak candidate, and it seemed to me that in the last weeks, he tried to GIVE the election away, but he would have done less damage to our
    Republic than Barrie Soetoro has.

Like Bush never blamed Clinton. His entire platform in 2000 was to bring “respectability” to the White House. No more nation building. No more “walking Kindergardeners to school”, as Condi liked to say. No more shady deals with poilitically connected companies. And of course, no more extramarital heterosexual sex scandals.

So,once in office, the Bush Admin conducted some of the shadiest gubment deals in history with Halliburton, Enron, Blackwater, etc. Took on the task of “nation-building” in two countries simultaneously. This involved taks much more complicated than walking children to school, I might add. Sex scandals? Bush presided over a republican party that seemed to see a new sex scandal emerge every few weeks. And a few of the more memorable ones weren’t even heterosexual! I never knew one could have such a gay ol’ time in an airport bathroom until a courageous republican senator stepped forward to spread the message. WIDE.

Every president inherits problems from his predecessor. For a tutorial on Obamas inheritence, you might want to check out The Inheritance by David Sanger. He does a pretty good job of walking the reader through the big challenges Obama faces.

Respectability to the White House and no sex problems were about the presidency. And no, Bush did not run around blaming Clinton for problems. Show me where he said he inherited this or that. He got a recession and 9/11 from Clinton but Bush did not once place blame. Any sex scandal from a member of Congress is not the fault of the president. If so then Obama is responsible for tickle parties.

Enron, started on Clinton’s watch. Halliburton, Clinton gave them a number of no bid contracts. Look it all up.

Yes, walk us through the problems Obama faced. He got them from a Democrat Congress. Things did not go south until they were in charge…

Actually Big Dog, the ONLY time Bush blamed Clinton was when he was first elected. Link: http://money.cnn.com/2002/08/07/news/economy/bush_cheney/. Other than that, I completely agree with you.

        • Big Dog says:

In this article, Bush says he inherited a recession. That is true and the article does not say he blamed any problems on Clinton, only that he inherited a recession. Obama could make the same claim and be correct.

The problem comes in when the I inherited this turns into they drove it into a ditch, they need to be quiet, Bush did this and that.

There is a big difference between what Bush said in the cited interview and what Obama has been saying.

But, I will be fair and say he mentioned it…

He got a recession (after the most robust period of economic expansion in U.S. history) and then 9/11 (which we all know that only Clinton was warned about, not a word to W. about the threat of Al-qaeda). The recession that Obama inherits from Bush is in no way Bush’s fault, though the recession Bush inherited from Clinton is all Clintons fault. Makes sense. To an idiot.

Enron- biggest contributer to W. Helped craft U.S. enery policy in secretive meetings with Dick Cheney. We still don’t know what could have been discussed in those meetings. Iraq, anyone?

Halliburton- once run by Dick Cheney. Also helped write U.S. energy policy in secret. With Dick Cheney. Responsible for massive amounts of fraud and theft of U.S. tax dollars.

Of couse, any reasonable person knows that it was Bill Clinton that was in the pocket of Enron and Halliburton. Not W…why would he want to help them out?

Things did not go south until 2006, folks. Everybody knows this. Everything was going just swell prior to them damn democrats taking over congress. The first six years of the Bush presidency was smooth sailing until that class of 06 wrestled all power from the self declared “Decider” and messed everything up. Yeah, right.

How is it that Enron was big from 1996 – 2001 and went bankrupt in November of 2001 but was a problem of Bush’s? Yeah, about that Clinton-Enron thing.

Clinton did not do the same things Bush did, that you all say was bad.

And Cheney signed over his Halliburton stok to charity and made the gift irrevocable. At the time it was around 8 million dollars worth of stock. So anything he did regarding Halliburton did not benefit him financially. He was rich when he became VP, Clinton got rich after being President. How do you suppose that happened? I mean if Cheney is evil then Clinton must be as well.

Most robust expansion? Thank the Republican Congress for that.

9/11 had nothing to do with who was warned or not (no one could know when it was going to happen from the vague warnings). 9/11 had to do with inaction to continued attacks on us and our assets. Bin Laden said he was emboldened to attack the US by the weak response in Somalia. Clinton withdrew our forces after Blackhawk down and OBL said we were a paper tiger. He never anticipated the response he got because Clinton treated everything like law enforcement. It has become evident that OBL did not like Bush’s response and would never have attacked had we been brutal and letah when attacked all the times during the Clinton presidency. If we had wiped out the Somali warlords after BH Down then we would have been left alone.

The same shell game that Enron played, is STILL being foisted on the American public, only this time it is the progressives who are doing it, with the healthcare scam, and now they will try cap and tax, which will benefit lefties and other marxists, but cause the rest of us to be VERY, VERY poor.
Your last paragraph is the truest thing you have ever written, Buns-you were smart- you quit on a true note.

Dog, no need to repeat yourself. I’m well aware that 9/11, the 08/09 recession, the early 90s recession, the 1980 recession, the early 80s recession, Saddam and Iraq, Bin- Laden and Al-qaeda, Iran-Contra, 7/7/2005, Pakinstani ISI, the failed “drug war”, and, of course, every abortion preformed since 1980 are the fault of one man only- Bill Clinton. We know, we know.
