I don't want to live in the United Socialists of America. What can we do 3 weeks before the election to keep this from happening?

Big government doesn't work period. Obama fundamentally sees government in the role of parent, caregiver, re-distributor of wealth. This very socialist perspective is demonstrated in his voting record, and outlined clearly in his books and policies. A prime example is his support of : the Union Check Card issue misleadingly named the "Employee Free Choice Act" http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0708/11840.html

The fact that someone with ideals so opposite the founding fathers is now a candidate for president tells me Americans are scared.

We feel so disillusioned and leaderless we appear to be willing to to 'try anything' to see if it will make a difference. Just because George Bush was possibly the worst president in history, doesn't mean we need to make another mistake and elect a fundamentally socialist leader.

I believe Obama is intelligent, eloquent and passionate about America. I'd also love to finally see a 'black' president. But, I am not willing to give up my freedom of self-determination to support bloated government influence in my life.

Independence and self-resilience is what built and made this country great. The more freedoms and choices we turn over to the government because we are desperate to feel secure is a dangerous road. History has proven socialism fails its people, weakens the republic and squashes a nation's engine for success ...self-determination.

If you truly care about where this country is going, you'll vote for the only person running who really knows what it is like to lose the freedoms we take for granted, the only one that fundamentally agrees governments exist to facilitate the synergies of individuals, vs turning individuals into wards of the state. John McCain, though not so well spoken or 'relatable', is the only candidate that has consistently demonstrated via accomplishment and action he knows how to lead and triumph in times of extreme crisis. America needs McCain now.

For more information on why Obama is not good for America check out the following sites:
1. Go to Americans for Tax Reform http://www.atr.org/index.html to calculate what would happen to your 401K if Obama is elected.

2. Another site with specifics on Obama's policies that are bad for america can be found at

Big Dog, I am so glad you're bringing up the Philadelphia lawsuit. I can't imagine why it hasn't hit mainstream media in SOME form or another, even on Fox...

The whole thing, if it's true, is absolutely appalling.
