Of course he was on Maddow. He went after someone who attacked the Messiah. Screw him and the rest of the political generals who are not really concerned with the troops. If he were he would be demanding action instead of complaining about something he was not involved in.

Eaton is a partisan and if he rejects those who place partisan politics ahead of our troops he should be rejecting Obama and his minions. They are placing partisan politics and the whims of their base ahead of our troops and of course, they blame everything on Bush. That has worn thin. They need to man up and quit crying because someone criticized.

Funny how as soon as the Messiah is shown to have been given detailed analysis which he asked not to be made public, and which he then used, and for which he never gave any credit, and then criticizes the past administration for doing no analysis, he is immediately defended by the left.

Not one of them is asking why our troops have waited over 2 months and have not gotten support, no they have to defend ObaMao.

In 2008 Eaton served as an advisor [sic] to Senator Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. So that is his opinion. For every general you find that has this opinion you can find one with the opposite. Retired Generals are a dime a dozen and they all make money as analysts.

There were mistakes but none like ObaMao is making.

Gen. Eaton responds: Dick Cheney Was “Incompetent War Fighter”

“Today, National Security Network Senior Adviser Gen. Paul Eaton (Ret.), who served more than 30 years in the United States Army and from 2003-2004 oversaw the training of the Iraqi military, responded to Dick Cheney’s accusations on Afghanistan from last night:

“The record is clear: Dick Cheney and the Bush administration were incompetent war fighters. They ignored Afghanistan for 7 years with a crude approach to counter-insurgency warfare best illustrated by: 1. Deny it. 2. Ignore it. 3. Bomb it. While our intelligence agencies called the region the greatest threat to America, the Bush White House under-resourced our military efforts, shifted attention to Iraq, and failed to bring to justice the masterminds of September 11.

“The only time Cheney and his cabal of foreign policy ‘experts’ have anything to say is when they feel compelled to protect this failed legacy. While President Obama is tasked with cleaning up the considerable mess they left behind, they continue to defend torture or rewrite a legacy of indifference on Afghanistan. Simply put, Mr. Cheney sees history throughout extremely myopic and partisan eyes.”

You actually need a man in that position who is capable of A)- Commanding the troops ( if he has a clue), or
B)- Actually listening to his Generals, and allow them to command the troops, since he HAS no clue.
But he does neither, because he comes from a culture that holds the military in contempt, and can’t fathom that the military is actually much more intelligent than he is in this area.
His ego is getting in the way.
