If you look at the quote at Meathead’s (if you must go there) and look what I wrote you can see that he omitted part of the quote without indicating there was a middle piece. He must have learned that from the MSM. In context and given what the post was about, it is clear except to those who abuse drugs, like Meathead. He admitted it on his site when he said:

I should feel guilty about taking drugs. But I just can’t work up any remorse.

That came right from the post he wrote about me and I did not change a word of it. I only left out some of the ones in between.

Context makes a difference.

If you care to read Obama’s web page (I will not link to it) he talks about how the drug companies are too friendly with Congress and in a debate he said that the drug companies were taking advantage of people. He has talked about them quite a bit.

Maybe the next time someone decides to say that Big Dog cannot control the tone (not content though I could do that) of comments he will know that I certainly can. Or should I say Yes I can…

The reason drugs cost a lot of money is the R&D involved coupled with the lawsuits in America. If 1% of a population suffers a problem then a suit is filed and millions of dollars paid out. It all ignores the 99% the drug helped.

As far as R&D, companies have about 7 years to make up all the money they had to spend to develop and market a drug. After that they lose the right to it and it can be made cheaper by other companies that did not pay for its R&D.

Meathead can fail to understand posts all day but health care is my profession and I see what happens in it. I won’t tell him how to write science fiction and he can stay away from the health care issues because I have forgotten more about medicine than he will ever know.

Besides, he quoted me out of context. Must be pathetic that a supposed writer is unable to properly attribute. It is also pathetic he needs to do this in order to get 3 or 4 visitors.
