Bush said he was trying, sure, but is there any record of the attempt? Obama has set a process in motion and we've been arguing about part of that process today already with the trials in New York. Obama may not be meeting his deadline but it's moving forward at least. To say Obama pretended closing it would be easy is without sufficient evidence as well.
