When I was transferred from VA to FL and I went to change my valid VA license to a Fl license I had to jump through hoops. They would not accept my prefectly valid halogrammed VA license as ID since I came from a terrorist state? I had to return home and get my bith certificate, utility bills, letter from the manager of the apartment complex and return to stand in line again. A young couple from IL also had to do the same thing. He was a federal employee with all of his federal paper work.

The jerk at the main desk was laughing at us because he didn’t have a green card and had a state job. One of the sheriffs there told us to just do it because they couldn’t help us. They said their hands were tied. People from Africa and hispanic country’s had no problem. This guy gave one lady so much grief that when she left for more ID she kicked the heavy glass door so hard it cracked it.

I told the jerk at the desk when I got my license that in case he hadn’t read a paper that the terrorist had come from Florida before they went to other cities to destroy the towers and Pentagon.

You just don’t know what patience and restraint were excersized that day.

I agree, if one of them causes anyone to be harmed it will be all over.
