My Name Is Susan Estrich, Pass The Kool-Aid

I read a May 5th article by Susan Estrich and it is a complete bashing of Vice President Dick Cheney. In case you have never seen Susan Estrich, she looks like a 5 pack a day smoker who has a girlfriend on the side (and the girlfriend would be the feminine one). Estrich has been taking extra trips to the kool-aid dispenser and her article shows that because it is filled with moonbat talking points.

In the article, she blames the energy problems on Cheney because he was in charge of the energy policy with all his big oil buddies. You know them, they are the ones making 8 cents a gallon while the government gouges us for about 50 cents a gallon. It is all Dick’s fault that gas prices are up. She also blames Cheney for the war on terror in Iraq claiming he was anxious to get in there. Her contention is that we did not have enough troops to fight there while we were involved in other places. If we take that as true then Estrich needs to look no further than Bill Clinton. He cut the military in half while he was President. She also takes a shot at every moonbat’s favorite target, Halliburton. She claims that Halliburton, Cheney’s old company, are the only ones doing well in “this mess.” She neglected a few things. She neglected to tell us that Cheney does not profit from how well Halliburton does. She neglected to tell us that Halliburton is more equipped than any other company to do what it was contracted to do (a sole source Contract like Bill Clinton gave them for Bosnia). She also neglected to inform readers that Dianne Feinstein’s husband (and by extension Dianne) has raked in millions of dollars from contracts related to the war.

Estrich is happy to take a swig of kool-aid and tell us how terrible Dick Cheney is. What she also is happy to do is the same thing most moonbat apologists do and that is lie or mislead people. She tells half truths and lies to paint a picture that is very different from reality. Of course, she is a lawyer, and a liberal one at that, so lying for the cause is probably inherent in her design. I do not mind the truth, in fact I prefer it. I wish that the moonbats would come up with something that has some substance. This whole Halliburton stuff is getting old as is the entire charade of concocted stories. I imagine if the left ever told the truth the would would open up and swallow them.

Oh, Susan the lawyer. Yep, she is a card carrying kerryite if I ever saw one. When she is on Fox News, she rants and raves and shows that liberal tolerance is neither liberal nor tolerant. She is a Bush hater and Chaney hater.

Susan is a great example of freedom of speech. Although I am sure she like her cronies would like to silence conservatives.

Great analogy and great blog, by the way.

    I agree – great post.

She always tries to talk over anyone who has an opposing view from hers, whenever I’ve seen her on TV. Her gravelly voice drives me nuts. It’s irritating. (probably that 5 pack/day habit).

The whole song and dance of the liberals is getting old. They spin so much it makes me dizzy. It’s hard for me to believe anyone still buys their stories – but I guess they do. It’s all about Get sound bites that can be played over and over and over again.
