That is a wise decision. There is no doubt that MJ or any other drug has bad effects on people (the mere act of sucking smoke into one’s lungs is unhealthy). Does it have good effects? Seems to work for people with chemo related problems. Have I ever used it, no. Am I against it? No, why not make it legal and tax it like everything else? It would give the police something else to arrest people for; DWH (Driving While High).

As for the headline, it is supposed to bring people in. Drudge is famous for it.

The body of the post though makes it clear (I think) that there were a bunch of things that led to this and the smoke was the final toke, I mean straw.

Marijuana is bad for you. But so are the legal drugs the government taxes. For that matter, so are fatty foods, sugar, and liberalism.

I agree with what you said in your comment. The headline, when taken out of its sarcastic context, is likely to lead readers to misconstrue your position.

This has got to be the stupidest rationale I’ve ever heard.

Marijuana had NOTHING to do with the murder. Her boss was riding her ass to the point of abuse and she simply snapped.

That would have happened whether pot was in the picture or not.
