New Orleans Library Needs Books

N. Mallory from The Naked Truth has posted an item that indicates the New Orleans Library needs books to replace those lost in the storm. New books will be used in the library and used books will be distributed to families in need or sold to help the library. I think this is an excellent idea. This will provide privately funded help rather than tax dollars, will provide people with a tax deduction, and will help people have access to books. To donate, please send books to:

Rica A. Trigs, Public Relations
New Orleans Public Library
219 Loyola Avenue
New Orleans, LA 70112

If you do not want to part with your books or don’t have any to donate you can still help. Go to Mallory’s site for more information.

If you enjoy what you read consider signing up to receive email notification of new posts. There are several options in the sidebar and I am sure you can find one that suits you. If you prefer, consider adding this site to your favorite feed reader. If you receive emails and wish to stop them follow the instructions included in the email.
