Maybe Ron Paul Really Has Supporters

The news was out yesterday that Ron Paul raised 4.2 million dollars in one day. For a guy polling at 1% that is pretty good. I guess there must be something to this idea that he has an Internet grass roots thing going on. Perhaps these folks will be sleepers and show up on election day and make him a big winner.

It would be something if this guy won. I could just imagine the look on the faces of the front runners who have spent millions and are polling well ahead of Paul.

I also imagine that either the Ron Paul spammers are rich or he really does have a lot of support on the Internet polls.

Good luck to him, he will need it and congrats to his supporters. This is really amazing.

I assure you the Paul supporters are not “rich.” The wealthy are busy buying favors from the front runners. That’s the way politics works. Paul’s platform includes ending corporate welfare, and what rentseeking fatcat is going to shell out for Ron “I’ll do you no favors” Paul.

No, these are people who want exactly NOTHING from the federal government except to be left alone. They’re taxpayers, but not wealthy ones. The average donation size on November 5th was a hair above $100.

It will be something to see how much of those pledges actually make it to money. I’ve raised money through pledges before, quite a big % of the pledged money never seems to materialize.

Yeah they want to be left alone alright, in their home made bunkers surveilling the parameter, getting together to burn crosses and run the “Joooooos” out of the country.
A lot of Ron Pauls support comes from neo-Nazi’s and white supremacists, trooothers and other loony fringe types of society.
Here’s a little primer about his “support”.
    Neo-Nazi Support for Ron Paul
It’s well researched and shows who’s got the money.

To Lord Nazh: Those weren’t pledges. Those were actual donations given with credit cards. The money is already in the campaign’s account.

To Oldguy: Give us a break already. That story is so yesterday. The fact remains that the “fringe” supports Ron Paul, not the other way around. And there are thousands of RP supporters who have nothing to do with those fringes. Like me, a housewife and stay-at-home Mom.

Ron Paul does have a lot of support from the 9/11 truth people. They pretty much make me want to slam my fingers in a car door. Anybody who could suggest that the most watched event in American and perhaps world history was an inside job despite the thousands of witnesses, mountains of scientific evidence to the contrary of their theory, and the just plain idiocy of the whole thing, is no friend of mine.

Might I add that it is pretty much like denial of the holocaust…pretty damn ignorant.

Each to his own I guess. He strikes me as a candidate to partner up with Dennis the Midget. We can give them one of the barrier islands and tell them to go for it. Then take out the bridge and make the channel deeper.

I have to admit, I think Ron Paul is picking up momentum here in New Hampshire. In the latest poll here he came in fourth after having never shown up. The sense I get is that he may surprise some people in New Hampshire.

    BD,

Did you see the post on HillyBilly’s site about stolen credit cards being use for the donations on Paul’s big day. They were stolen and being used out of the country. Banks had to cancel over 500 cards so far and return the money to their customers. Paul’s group has given back $3,ooo so far.

How did you make out in the elections yesterday? I know a little town somewhere near this area called Mascot arrested the current mayor on Monday night because of some porn charges and the guy they elected that was running against him has already been convicted a few years ago of child porn??? The new mayor said the charges were old and over with now???? I think I would have to have asked for a whole new election given the options. But it seems like here they all have some kind of felonies and that’s how they qualify to run I guess. It’s mind boggling.
