That would indeed be correct- it might seem offensive, but the actions would be true. An example- she held out her approval UNTIL she got the money in hand- a whorish move if I ever have seen one. There is also the small (to liberals) fact that in the Senate, while you can and should in most cases advocate for your state, you should be concerned with how your actions reflect on and are affecting the United States as a whole, considering no matter whose state we are talking about, that state is only 1/50th of the whole, and it is the WHOLE that must thrive, not just one state. So at some point, you must say that while it might benefit my state, it would hurt the rest of the US, and therefore should not be done.
