As many of you know, my stepmother died last Saturday. This week we spent time at the funeral home with family and friends to share our memories and console each other. Today was the funeral for MG and a great number of people braved the heat to pay their last respects to a truly wonderful woman.
I printed the responses to my original post and shared them with folks who came to pay their respects. They were completely in awe of the number of people from around the country, who I have never met in person, who would take the time to offer condolences. My friends, I too am in awe of the outpouring of sympathy.
I want to thank each of you who took the time to comment and to those who, though they might not have commented, offered prayers for our family. I also want to thank those who sent emails of support with words of comfort. I am truly blessed.
Again my friends, thank you for the compassion that you showed to me and my family.
