Make Them All Go Through Security

So I think that we should just require all members of Congress to go through the scanner. I don’t care how long they have been there or how quickly they are recognized we should just make the whole lot of them go through the screening process. McKinney says the process they use now is not adequate and I think face recognition is spotty at best so let’s just make them all go through the machines.
But she said Wednesday: “Face recognition is the issue …. The pin doesn’t have my name on it and it doesn’t have my picture on it, and so security should not be based on a pin … People are focused on my hairdo.”
“Something that perhaps the average American just doesn’t understand is that there is a heightened sense of a lack of appropriateness being there for members who are elected who happen to be of color,” McKinney said, “and until this issue is addressed by the American public in a very substantive way, it won’t be the last time.”
I think she is saying that since she is elected we need to bow down and kiss her butt. Well, the only thing inappropriate was her striking the police officer. I am more in agreement today with a retired officer who wanted to know why she was not thrown face first to the floor and handcuffed. I think I agree even more now. She should have been thrown to the floor, cuffed, and taken to jail. At least she would have had a proper venue to sing we shall overcome.
Tom Delay said that McKinney was actually the racist and everything is about race with her. I believe that to be the truth because ever since this happened she has been whining about being treated differently because she is black. Once again, that is a favorite way to excuse illegal behavior. Wouldn’t it be great if she were found guilty and had to go to jail?
