Louisiana Will Hold Evacuation Drill

Better late than never is an old phrase but certainly appropriate with regard to the New Orleans evacuation drill that will be held later this week with about 80 volunteers. Since you can not unring a bell it is of little use to rehash the fact that they had a plan they did not exercise and that noted about 100 thousand people would be abandoned. Perhaps Welfare Ray Nagin will use the buses he left to flood during hurricane Katrina. Perhaps he should use the buses they found to bring people from all over to vote in the Mayoral election.

Here is a tip for Welfare Ray and the people of New Orleans; pretend you are going to the polls and every poor person will get a ride.

Yep, when there is a reason, the problems will be overcome. Hope that the city below sea level, surrounded by water, has a good plan.
