Limbaugh Gets Penalty Flag In NFL Bid

Rush Limbaugh was asked by a group of investors if he would be interested in joining a group of people who want to buy the St. Louis Rams. Limbaugh became part of that group and the NFL and the liberals showed their true colors. The NFL decided that it did not need a divisive person on a team after people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton complained.

The MSM had over a dozen morons who attributed racist quotes to Limbaugh that he NEVER said. None of these morons could source the quotes back to Limbaugh and Limbaugh claims they were tracked back to a blogger who made them up out of whole cloth. None of this seems to matter as the MSM and the radical left (but I repeat myself) keep echoing the racist remarks and attributing them to Limbaugh. The true echo chamber exists on the left and they usually echo lies. None of the so called professional journalists bothered to check to see if the remarks were true and there is a reason for that, they want to destroy people with whom they disagree. They hate Limbaugh so they went after him.

It is true he made a comment concerning Donovan McNabb a few years ago but one would be hard pressed to show racism in the comment.

I bet the NFL would allow Sharpton to invest and he has been divisive and has incited riots that resulted in the deaths of people. His big mouth caused people to die. And, it is not the first time he lied about something. Who could forget the Brawley case? Both Sharpton and Jackson have spewed anti Semitic remarks and are divisive people but I imagine they could invest.

You see, if you are the right demographic you are not considered divisive, you can make all the racially insensitive comments you want and you are good to go. If you are not the right demographic they will make things up and lie to get you.

Big Hollywood reports on three people who own as much of a football team and have as much to do with it as Limbaugh would have with the Rams. Jennifer Lopez, Serena Williams and singer Fergie. Lopez sings songs using the N word which is racist when used by the wrong kind of person. Serena Williams had a profanity laced tirade in a tennis match where she threatened a judge and Fergie, an Obama supporter who performed at the White House Easter egg hunt. The song contained profanities and was not appropriate for little kids. Her group, The Black-Eyed Peas, also sang a song that called the CIA terrorists. None of this is divisive enough to keep them from being, dare I say it, minority owners in the NFL.

Then we get to the NFL itself. This is an organization that has criminals laced throughout. There is not a team in the league that has not had its share of criminal behavior that has resulted in the arrest of players. This is the league that allowed Michael Vick to return as if nothing had happened. Don’t get me wrong. I feel like Vick paid his dues by serving his jail time and if the league wanted him back then that is fine but the act of bringing him back was certainly divisive. It seems the league can forgive that kind of behavior but will exclude people who have been wrongly accused of wrong doing.

I suppose that some liberal out there could make the case that Limbaugh’s past abuse of prescription pain killers should exclude him from being an owner. The point could be made but we are talking about a league that has players who pop hot for drugs and where a lifetime suspension for drug use is not really a lifetime. That matters little to people who continue to mock Limbaugh for his prescription drug abuse while cheering Patrick Kennedy and any other liberal who has had trouble with drugs but checked into rehab. If you murder someone while under the influence you are held in higher esteem. The NFL had no problems with the late Bob Irsay (owner fo the Colts) and he was a raging alcoholic.

The NFL ownership group is more exclusive than the United States Senate and the owners are careful about who they let in their little club, unless, of course, the people are part of the correct demographics. Limbaugh wrote about all this in the Wall Street Journal where he discusses the politics of the matter.

Jackson and Sharpton are anti Semitic, race baiting poverty pimps who are too divisive to do much of anything. They are probably cheering and giving each other a reach around because of their ability to spread lies and race hustle once again. Their racism has left Limbaugh in the cold as the group decided to drop him from the list of potential buyers.

It is all good and Limbaugh will come through just fine. I hope he sues the people who repeated the quotes and makes a great deal of money off them. That would make me cheer as the MSM and race hustlers got taken down.

I will also cheer when Jackson and Sharpton kick the bucket. I don’t wish death on them but when they die I will throw a party celebrating the world being rid of these two worthless pieces of camel dung.

This whole event will likely give Limbaugh even more listeners. That is great because we need more and more people finally listening to someone who understands the evil of liberalism and who shows how anyone can make it in America if they work hard instead of becoming victims.

Just as a point of clarity, I don’t care one way or another if Limbaugh owns this or any other NFL team. I just think that he has been treated wrong in this issue and that Jackson or Sharpton would be screaming racism if the NFL excluded someone like, well either of them, because of their divisive nature. I also think that the widespread passing of the untrue quotes that were attributed to Limbaugh demonstrates what the MSM and liberals in general have become.

A group that is intent of getting what it wants and is not afraid to destroy anyone who gets in its way.

Fortunately, there are plenty of us Patriots who have no fear. Limbaugh is one such man and if he does it right he will sue them and take millions from them.

Now that would be truly sweet…

There are ties in this incident that go all the way to the White House.

  2. Montana says:

For so many years Limbaugh has spent his time on the radio mis-labeling or mis-characterizing others . Finally he had his judgment day.

    • Blake says:

I am quite sure it is the NFL’s loss here, Limbaugh can play with his money pretty much anywhere he wants- As I understand it, he was asked to join, it was not his first thought- but you know, he IS right- the NFL has become like a fight between the Crips and the Bloods- without the weapons. True is true.

  3. Darrel says:

Fivethirtyeight made this point on Thursday, that is, a couple of these comments attributed to Limbaugh are probably false.

Some would no doubt like to use this as an excuse to detract from the FACT that there is no shortage of authentic hate filled and race baiting comments from Limbaugh.

See 28 of them here, each carefully referenced.

Bigd: “If [Rush] does it right he will sue them and take millions from them.>>

That’s a good one. Poor Limbaugh, all that money and yet he is so full of hate and vitriol, no one wants to play with him. That’s not illegal by the way, that’s the glorious free market at work.

“…my personal favorite: the time Limbaugh invented a “racial component” to Iraq war vet Paul Hackett’s decision to withdraw from a Democratic primary campaign for U.S. Senate in Ohio. Yep, after Hackett’s departure from the race against then-Rep. Sherrod Brown, Rush said, “And don’t forget, Sherrod Brown is black. There’s a racial component here, too.” In fact, Brown is white.”

Limbaugh’s NFL Dream Slips Through His “Formerly Nicotine-Stained Fingers”.

    • Blake says:

I just love the hypocrisy oozing from you and all other liberals- J-Lo is a minority owner, and has a book out where she talks about “niggas, pimps an’ Hos- they alla same to me”- real cute- and the lyrics of the Blackeye Peas, is fairly rank, and Fergie even pees her pants, and SHE’S a minority owner in the Miami Dolphins.
So how deep can you dig to cover up this liberal manure pile D?

    • Darrel says:

“…there is nothing in the First Amendment that covers the right to own an NFL team. Owners have the right to protect their brand and Rush needs to deal with the fact that in 21st century America, he is a liability and not an asset.”

      Limbaugh whining:

“This is about the future of the United States of America and what kind of country we’re going to have…..This is the latest assault on people who believe in rugged individualism and liberty and freedom who threaten the whole notion of state control tyranny and central authority which is typified by the Obama administration and the Democrat Party.”

      [Zirin response]
“It boggles the mind. For someone who claims a belief in rugged individualism and rails against “victim politics” while he preaches personal responsibility, it was almost jarring to hear Rush whine about “tyranny” on the left when it was his compadres on the right who just said no.

To compare a crew of billionaires throwing Rush under to bus to McCarthy’s persecutions [as Pat Buchanan did], is about as offensive as Glenn Beck’s efforts earlier this week to compare Fox News to the Jews in the Holocaust.

Why the NFL Just Said No.

      • Blake says:

The NFL said no, because it like other sports enterprises, is exempt from anti trust legislation. As I have said before, Rush is a big boy, and will do just fine- it is but another in the liberal litany of hypocrisy that we can see in the media and out.

  4. Big Dog says:

I don’t see racism in his comments. He is not saying anything differently than Sharpton or Jackson but the colors are reversed.

Knowing Limbaugh he would donate any money he won in a suit to a charity.

Limbaugh is no racist and the point is, is anything he has said worse than the three who are owners.

Of course Darrel, you miss that point completely.

And 538 thinks that he probably did not say them? There is no proof he ever did.

  5. Adam says:

Watching Blake say things like “he IS right- the NFL has become like a fight between the Crips and the Bloods” just warms my heart. Blake is Rush’s base: Those who operate outside the bounds of logic and fact.

It’s even funnier to see a bunch of white folks saying “Well, THEY say the N-word and it’s OK!” as if it’s some shocking case of hypocrisy. It’s always clear when you folks discuss racism that you have absolutely no clue.

I wonder where Blake is now to say something like: “Well, if there is no proof Limbaugh DIDN’T say it then it is valid to say he DID!” I guess that logic-free leap only works when he’s targeting Obama or Kennedy with lies, not King Rush.

Media Matters doesn’t flat out say it’s racist. It’s certainly “racially insensitive” as they label it. Limbaugh probably isn’t racist in his heart. But he is indeed a hero to many on the Right: A fat, drug addicted hate monger who can’t keep wives and who will say anything to boost his ratings and whip conservative rubes into a frenzy. He’s been doing it for decades. This includes racially divisive statements on current affairs that have gotten him in hot water over and over and just boosted his ratings even more.

    • Blake says:

Yet again, I need to say to the liberals with selective memory- I DO NOT LISTEN TO RUSH I do not even know what station he’s on- nor do I listen to Hannity.
Now, the quote I saw regarding the Crips and Bloods I personally believe is closer to the mark than not.
It is true that a disproportionate number of Blacks get into sports because it is the easy way to wealth, if they have the talent- they do not have to be “educated” in some other career.
This is not to say they are not capable of that, they just opt for the easy path to money.
And for all you liberals who feel Rush or anyone else is “racially insensitive”, perhaps you should grow a thicker skin, as free speech includes the right to offend and be offended.
Deal with it you whiny babies.

  6. Big Dog says:

Well Adam, if you can’t see the hypocrisy in allowing some people who do ofeensive things to compete and others not to then you have a problem.

You called Limbaugh a fat, drug addicted hate monger. The hate mongering part is a matter of interpretation so let’s leave that one out. Fat? Why is it that when we attack people like Rosie as a fat [fill in the blank] you say it is uncalled for but it is OK to attack Limbaugh for his body size, as if that matters. Your hero Ted Kennedy was fat, did his weight have any beraing on the person he was?

Are you aware that Limbaugh has lost over 80 pounds?

As for drug addicted, Limbaugh went through successful rehab for an addiction to pain pills. Why do you continue to call him drug addicted?

But that does give me an idea. From now on we can describe Obama as the drug addicted resident. He used drugs, illegal ones at that. I don’t think he uses them now but should that matter? Under your guidelines he is drug addicted.

As far as I am concerned you are free to call Limbaugh or anyone else what you wish but i find it funny that you would do it considering how you defend against attacks on leftists who have had similar issues.

And yes, I know what racism is and what it is not. I also know that what Limbaugh has said is no better or worse than the things said by many NFL owners.

Limbaugh has a black man working for him (probably more but i don’t know how many employees he has) and he treats him very well. Good salary and top of the line insurance as well as items such as iPhones that he gives all his employees.

He is colorblind but people like you do not like it when he calls out the true racists like Sharpton and Jackson. You praise them and they are race hustlers.

    • Adam says:

Sorry. Obama, unlike Limbaugh, has no record of drug addiction (except maybe nicotine). Keep dreaming.

Limbaugh could shrink down to a 5 pound piece of elephant dung and he’d still get no sympathy from me. He’s made a healthy living tearing down folks in hateful and divisive ways while his own life was a train wreck of divorce and drug abuse and unhealthy living. If you want to celebrate and defend that man then go ahead.

I guess you’d probably give Rush a reach around by your own statements since you love to suggest that about so many other folks. I’m not sure what it is about you and Blake that makes you want to insert crude sexual suggestions into everything the way you do.

Oh, Limbaugh employs a black man? Well, bless his heart! That’s some variation of the joke of an excuse: “I don’t have black people! I have black friends!”

      • Big Dog says:

No onw asked you to have sympathy and I am sure he would not want it. Funny, Al Franken has spent a long time tearing down peoiple in hateful and divisive ways and you defend and worship him.

I do not defend Limbaugh, he is capable of doing that himself. I merely point out the hypocrisy of people like you who think that he should be denied for behavior that is no different than that of some of the current owners.

I pointed out his employee to indicate that it is unlikely that a racist would hire a guy and treat him well. I guess you would not understand because blacks like that are uncle Tom’s to bigots like you and the other libs. You guys are all about keeping them on the plantation.

Funny, you defended people like Garafalo and their crude sexual references.

You really are a hypocrite. I thought you libs were about diversity and tolerance. Right.

As far as blacks go, the people I know who have black friends do not consider them black friends. They are just friends because the color does not matter.

        Unless a lib is involved.

      • Big Dog says:

Obama has documented use of illegal drugs and the pattern described certainly meets the DSM IV criteria for abuse and he might meet the criteria for addiction based on his cocaine use. So he is at the least a drug abuser and at the worst a drug addict. Either way you cannot defend the substance of that argument.

Except your hatred for one and love for another clouds your vision of the entire thing.

      • Adam says:

Franken may not have the audience Limbaugh has but Franken is actually serving his country in the US Senate now working for what he believes in unlike Limbaugh who sits in his chair spewing hate over the airwaves and making millions off of it. If you can’t see the difference you’re a sad mess.

I don’t know much or care about Garafalo but I’d need both hands and my toes to count the number of times you’ve slipped sexually crude statements into an otherwise normal political discussion. So instead of deflecting to bring up people you hate, why can’t you explain why you have such a tendency?

DSM IV criteria for abuse? You’re lying now. Unless I’m wrong, these 4 parts are the criteria:

        1. Recurrent substance use resulting in a failure to fulfill major role obligations at work, school, or home (such as repeated absences or poor work performance related to substance use; substance-related absences, suspensions, or expulsions from school; or neglect of children or household).

        2. Recurrent substance use in situations in which it is physically hazardous (such as driving an automobile or operating a machine when impaired by substance use)

        3. Recurrent substance-related legal problems (such as arrests for substance related disorderly conduct)

        4. Continued substance use despite having persistent or recurrent social or interpersonal problems caused or exacerbated by the effects of the substance (for example, arguments with spouse about consequences of intoxication and physical fights).

Surely if Obama has met 1 or more of those criteria you can tell us which. Obama’s recreational use of drugs decades ago does not give you the basis to lie and call him an addict now. Limbaugh on the other hand…

        • Big Dog says:

Admitting that he was doing drugs on the beach with kids who had dropped out of school means he was not in school. Meets the criteria of number one.

        • Adam says:

Obama skipping school a couple of times to party and use drugs? Get real. The majority of college students then would qualify. You have no evidence to suggest Obama’s drug use caused him any harm in his life and in fact he says he quit because he wanted to avoid such a case. Stop lying.

I can’t help it if you feel bad for having to defend a fat pill popping hate monger who profits off divisiveness and raciam tension, but don’t tell lies and deflect.

        • Darrel says:

ADAM: “fat pill popping hate monger”>>

I don’t concern myself so much with the fat or the pills. My favorite part is the hypocrisy (which you left out).

“…too many whites are getting away with drug use. Too many whites are getting away with drug sales. Too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we’re not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too.” –Limbaugh, Rush Limbaugh TV show (10/5/95)

People like Limbaugh should go to jail, says Limbaugh

  7. Big Dog says:

I see, Franken did not have as big an audience and he is now in the Senate so that excuses the same behavior. All this excuses franken’s divisive behavior.

Limbaugh is guilty of your charge because he is successful where Franken could not be (in a particular field as opposed to life in general).

    • Adam says:

Again the comparison to Franken does not stand. You are comparing an accomplished comedian, author, radio host and a US Senator to a chickenhawk blowhard Limbaugh who has made millions off saying things to just piss people off.

      • Blake says:

Oh, now the tall tales? Stewie Smallie is a FAILED comedian, hack author ( if everyone has a tale to tell, he should have shut up after the first sentence), and you mean this Air America was a RADIO station? Really?
I thought it was a Soros charity for Skank Welfare. Well, Bless their little hearts.

      • Big Dog says:

So I am comapring an accomplished radio host like Franken to one who is not accomplished like Limbaugh? Limbaugh is a best selling author and has the number one show in America. He had more listeners in a day than Franken had all week and Franken was on the air stirring things up from the other side.

you see him as accomplished only because you agree with him.

Limbaugh has accomplished more than Franken could ever hope to. And serving in the Senate is no brand of accomplishment. I think Limbaugh could be elected to office but he made a very astute observation when asked, he said he did not want to take the pay cut.

Nothing wrong with wanting to do what you do and get paid well for it.

I understand Darrel Jr, nothing will be correct as presented. No problem but to say Franken is accomplished and Limbaugh is not is laughable even for a mush brained liberal.

      • Adam says:

Limbaugh has accomplished quite a few things actually. But all of his accomplishments deal with tearing folks down and making millions off of it. I’m sorry you think the amount of listeners and the amount of money he makes means Limbaugh somehow isn’t a blowhard chicken hawk hate monger but that simply isn’t true. When Limbaugh does anything useful for our country aside from spew lies over the air waves to bash and tear down liberals let me know and we can then debate a comparison between him and US Senator Franken.

      • Darrel says:

Bigd: “Limbaugh… has the number one show in America.”>>

He got his show on all of those stations by giving it away. His claims about numbers are a product of his ample behind.

Bigd: “you see [Franken] as accomplished only because you agree with him.”>>

I have already detailed Franken’s extensive accomplishments.

Bigd: “And serving in the Senate is no brand of accomplishment.”>>

Sorry, Senator trumps widely hated radio show big mouth.

Bigd: “I think Limbaugh could be elected to office”>>

Of course you do, because you are delusional. March of this year:

“Limbaugh’s favorable rating stands at just 19 percent, a full 43 points lower than President Obama’s.” Link

That’s in the Cheney range. He couldn’t get elected dog catcher during a pit bull outbreak.

Bigd: “he said he did not want to take the pay cut.”>>

He’s full of crap. He’s got enough money, and nobody wants to play with him anyway. He’s a coward and a blowhard with no balls who hides behind a time delay. He can run his mouth all day, no doubt, but he’s never been able to stand up to informed opposition (false beliefs never can). This is why he makes sure he doesn’t have to.

  8. Big Dog says:

This article sums it up nicely.

    The author is a Democrat.

I am not telling lies or deflecting and I am not defending Limbaugh. You seem obsessed with a drug abusing racist who is upset because his mnommy and daddy abandoned him.

Obama was a drug abuser. And yes, many kids are drug abusers even the ones who only binge drink.

  9. Adam says:

Saying Obama used drugs? True. Saying Obama fits the DSM IV criteria for abuse or that you have justification to call him a drug addict? Lies. Stop being a pathetic little dittohead and defending your master hate monger by spreading lies about Obama and deflecting.

    • Blake says:

How do you know that your Barry dude isn’t tooting a long line with Rahmpo and Michelle right now?
How would we know? There is no transparency, of corse, and that is by design.

      • Big Dog says:

They must be doing drugs. Only people on drugs would espouse the positions they take, could lie with a straight face and would be so paranoid to have an enemies list with Fox NEWS at the top.

It must be some good smack they are using…

  10. Adam says:

Right, you’re not defending Rush or deflecting at all. You’re just saying: “If you can call Rush who is a recovering drug addict a drug addict then I can call Obama who has never been addicted to drugs a drug addict and I can make up things about Obama to say he fits the criteria of an abuser and an addict. But I’m not deflecting! NEVER!”

  11. victoria says:

Adam, You see no hate on the part of the left only on the part of the right and you miss the point entirely and that is #1 Rush never made those racist remarks and #2 the last I knew anyone in this country who has the money can buy anything they want to.
Make no mistake about it if this was,Oh say, Olberman or ole tingly down his leg you would be singing an entirely different tune than you are here. The fact that you are rejoicing in this shows you entirely for what you are and Darrel too.

    • Adam says:

Once again you don’t even know me, Victoria, so don’t talk like you do. I can’t stand Olbermann and Tweety can sink into oblivion for all I care.

Sure, there is no record of Limbaugh saying those quotes people have said. But as Darrel has pointed out Limbaugh has an abundance of actual verified material proving he is racially insensitive. It’s like a guy who is caught stealing 5 bottles of pain pills and when accused of stealing a 6th and 7th folks like you rush to his defense and say “He did not still those 2 bottles of pills, therefore he is not a pill theif!” Get real. It’s a matter of public record and it’s come back to bite him in the butt.

Again though, if you feel the need to defend a blowhard pill popping hate monger who has had more wives than most people will have pets and earns millions to lie over the air and make divisive commentary…then go right ahead and do it. Shows a lot about you.

  12. victoria says:

Limbaugh has an abundance of actual verified material proving he is racially insensitive.

Back that one up.What public record.

      • Big Dog says:

These statements are only racially charged if you want them to be. They are not racist and they are pretty accurate.

Adam has it in for Limbaugh because Limbaugh is accurate almost all the time and it drives the liberals nuts when someone calls them on their scams.

Adam is amazing because he continues to bang on Rush for his past addiction but has excused people like the Kennedys and their drug problems. Teddy the boozer killed a woman and Adam overlooks that in his admiration. Adam worships the liberals in Hollywood who have had countless failed marriages and knocks Rush for his failed marriages which are really none of anyone’s business.

Patrick Kennedy went to rehab after he crashed while under the influence of alcohol and other drugs and he is a darling to people like Adam who will defend him when some mean divisive conservative says anything negative. It says a lot about people like Adam when they are so bent on an ideology that they spew hatred while condemning people who they claim do the same.

And I did not hear of Limbaugh whining about the issue. I heard him get upset with the false quotes. He should be upset.

Divisive comments? And who are Sharpton and Jackson to say anything? Adam excuses their anti Semitic remarks because he thinks they do good work. It is a shame but he is blinded by his ideology and from the kool aid he has been spoon fed by his liberal parents and teachers.

        • Adam says:

“These statements are only racially charged if you want them to be. They are not racist and they are pretty accurate.”

Just keep repeating that to yourself as you defend a man making a living off of dividing this country along whatever line he sees fit to get more listeners and bigger contracts with.

  13. Big Dog says:

What exactly, Adam, would you call useful to this country?

Are you saying that if someone does not serve in the Senate they are less in stature or have done less for this country? I and my fellow camrades in arms that have never served have accomplished a hell of a lot more for this country than Franken so don’t spew that crap.

Limbaugh is not in Congress but he has done plenty for this country.

You call the names and you spew the lies but you are not qualified to determine what is acceptable service to this country because you have yet to accomplish any yourself.

    • Adam says:

Serving in politics, being a police officer, being a firefighter, in your case the serving in the military…all these things are ways folks serve our country. Limbaugh? He blows hot air over a microphone spreading hate and watching the money flow in.

I don’t claim I’ve done anything great in my life but I do know I don’t earn a living by spreading big fat lies, or as you call it being “accurate almost all the time.”

      • Blake says:

Its only a matter of time before Stu Smalley goes all bonkers in the Senate chambers.
He is an example of just how little intelligence is needed as a threshold of being qualified to allegedly be elected to the Senate.
And as we can see, it’s a damn low threshold- my dog routinely does better.

  14. Big Dog says:

Yes, he meets the DSM IV criteria for abuse. He abused drugs and he fits one of the definitions. And you call out Victoria for not knowing you and you presume to know me.

I am no dittohead and do not listen to Rush. I am not opposed to listening to him but he is on when I am working so i do not listen.

I am not defending him. Once again you have the inability to see what the topic is. I pointed out how he was excluded based on the very same things done by other minority owners in teams. That is wrong but you are too blind to see that because you are wedded to your party and its destructive ideology.

No go, Rahm has new marching orders for his strom trooper Nazis. Get before you are punished.

    • Adam says:

No, he does not meet the DSM IV criteria for abuse. Stop lying.

Sorry, you’re not a dittohead just like you’re not a birther. My bad. You just agree with everything they believe in but it’s the title that’s got you down.

  15. Big Dog says:

I will believe what I want and you keep defending your drug abusing racist white hating resident who sat in a hate filled church for 20 years and became friends with a man who bombed this country. You can excuse all this and defend him but you then call someone else divisive.

Defend your racist drug abusing resident and have fun.

    • Adam says:

      “I will believe what I want…”

Short for: “I can’t back up my claim that Obama is a drug abuser or addict but I’m going to just keep insisting that he is because I can.”

      • Blake says:

Barry is a drug abuser, Adam- he says so in his book-
The guy not only inhaled, he snorted also- repeatedly- that is a drug abuser, period.
You want to make this like he was a vegan, but the two are not comparable- one is a lifestyle choice, the other is breaking the law’
And he is a racist- did you see how fast he jumped on the poor white police officer, just because his fellow White hating professor was black? How quickly he passed judgement on that man? The white policeman had to have acted “stupidly”, because he just “Knew” Skippy Gates.
        What BS!

  16. victoria says:

Just like conservatives are the only hateful ones, conservatives are the divisive ones. OK, so you hate Olby and Chris, put the name of a lefty advocate that you do like in there.

    • Adam says:

I never said conservatives are the only ones. Yet, find me one person who has as big of audience as Limbaugh and is paid as much as Limbaugh (two things you folks apparently love to brag about when it suits you) to talk over the airwaves and spew his divisive hateful garbage.

      • Blake says:

Well Gee- there is no one who is a liberal who people want to listen to – or we would know his/ her name.
But I think in terms of total audience, Rush is listened to more than Barry Soetoro, don’t you?
Why is that, Adam? If conservatives are a “fringe” group, or as Dar maintains are a shrinking demographic, just WHERE do you think Rush’s audience comes from?
A bunch of closet conservatives who haven’t “come out” to their liberal friends?
Who is his audience, and how come they’re so many of them?
Perhaps they really ARE the majority, and just haven’t quite woke up to the fact that liberals are stealing this country’s heart and soul.
        Think about that.

        • Adam says:

Limbaugh’s audience is around 20 million listeners. That means 94% of the US does not listen to Limbaugh. More people watch an episode of American Idol on average than listen to Rush Limbaugh. Think about that.

        • Darrel says:

ADM: “Limbaugh’s audience is around 20 million listeners.”>>

          It’s important to consider:

“…that eight-digit number is what’s known in radio as the “cume” (short for cumulative). It in no way reflects the actual audience size like the way television shows are measured minute by minute or half-hour by half-hour. Instead, the cume number represents a very large — and generous — umbrella covering the number of people who, in theory, tune into a program at any time during the week, even if it’s for just two minutes.

As a radio trade reporter confirmed to MSNBC last week, common industry shorthand to determine the actual size of a radio audience at any given moment is to cut the cume figure down by a factor of 10, which would mean Limbaugh’s 20 million becomes 2 million. Or, if you take the more modest cume number of 14 million, which some inside the industry have used to judge the talker’s audience, Limbaugh’s rating becomes 1.4 million, which is roughly the same size audience that Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann get each night on cable TV.”

  17. Big Dog says:

Yeah Adam, you call it what you want. Call me what you want, I don’t really care. You have no influence in my life and you are entitled to believe what you want and we can all sit back and watch how hateful you are even though you are supposedly tolerant.

Limbaugh is right most of the time and he is far more accurate than the idiots on the left who carry the water for the racist in the White House.

  18. Blake says:

Well, the term tolerant would mean, (if you WERE), that yo didn’t draw such hate- filled and racist conclusions about people like Rush, but apparently your smug, self- satisfied worldview can’t be bothered with actually doing the tolerating- only giving it lip service.
As bad as all these people bashing Beck- he has told the WH to correct him if he is wrong, and the best they can do has been to ask him to not call certain people “czars”- Really?
That is the best they can do? Then they need to shut up, because he must be right if that is the best they can do, right?

  19. Big Dog says:

I am not the liar here and my definition of tolerant is that if you tolerate it from one person or group you should tolerate it from another.

    Otherwise you are a bigot.

    Now we know…

  20. Big Dog says:

If any of the others had anything to say that others wanted to listen to then they would have a big audience and earn lots of money.

There is nothing wrong with earning money.

Obama has a big audience when he goes on TV to spread his lies and hatred. He uses surrogates sometimes but it is a big audience and a hateful message.

  21. Big Dog says:

I gave you evidence of the abuse. He told us he would go tot he beach with the drop outs who were not in school which means he was not in school. He skipped school to do drugs. He also used the drugs to deal with his identity issue which means he used them to avoid dealing with a psychosocial issue.

I said that he MIGHT meet the definition of dependence for cocaine, not that he did. Sorry you don’t like it that only one thing has to happen IAW the DSM IV but his reported behavior meets that definition.

    • Adam says:

It’s funny how when you tell a lie you end up lying so much more to defend it. For the record Obama has never stated he skipped school to do drugs. In his book he wrote:

I had discovered that it didn’t make any difference whether you smoked reefer in the white classmate’s sparkling new van, or in the dorm room of some brother you’d met down at the gym, or on the beach with a couple of Hawaiian kids who had dropped out of school and now spent most of their time looking for an excuse to brawl.

Notice the lack of context there for you to determine what the assumption you made about him skipping school? That’s because such a context does not exist. You’re just making this up as you go, as usual. Stop lying.

      • Big Dog says:

Stop your hero worship Adam. The abuse was there. I think an SAP would call it abuse. Used drugs to avoid the psychosocial probalems associated with being a half and half.

  22. Big Dog says:

Here is Adam in a nutshell:

Rush Limbaugh a divisive racist and a fat druggy too.

Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers, not divisive. Good people who bring us together and nurtured Obama along.

Anyone who disagrees is a racist.

    • Adam says:

Funny. I’ve never said anything like that. More lies.

      • Big Dog says:

I never said you said it, it is implied in your past comments on the issues. Stop lying for Obama and give up the kool aid.

        • Adam says:

Never before have I defended Bill Ayers as a good person. It’s funny that when confronted with your lies about Obama and your support for Limbaugh despite him being a waste of a human being you’ll just make up lies to attack me with.

    • victoria says:

      Excellent article:
      The two best lines–
“What a bleak example of the totalitarian mindset!”
“This kind of weapons-grade stupidity is one of the things America can no longer afford.”

  23. Adam says:

It’s strange how when conservatives are defending a liar like Rush Limbaugh they find it so easy to launch into a series of their own lies. I guess that’s the life of the dittohead…

    • Big Dog says:

      Prove that Rush Limbaugh lied.

      • Darrel says:

Bigd: “Prove that Rush Limbaugh lied.”>>

Oh, that’s easy. He does it all the time. For instance:

Speaking to reporters, Pelosi was asked if she thought there was “legitimate grassroots opposition” at recent town hall events. She responded:

PELOSI: “I think they’re Astroturf; you be the judge. They’re carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on health care.”

Her statement is true, see pictures here.

On the August 6 broadcast of his radio show, Rush Limbaugh stated of Pelosi, “She’s basically saying that we are Nazis. She is saying that the people who oppose this are Nazis, and I’m going to tell you what.” –ibid

On his August 14 show he upped the lie to:

“Pelosi said the town hall attendees were Nazis”

Quote, unquote, he said, Pelosi said, that the town hall attendees, were Nazis.

She didn’t say this. Limbaugh lied, and he knows he lied, and he doesn’t care. People listening to that show will think, incorrectly, that Pelosi said this. But she didn’t say this.

On his August 17 show he upped the lie to:

“Pelosi calls my audience, calls me, calls my friends Nazis”

But she didn’t. He lied again.

On his August 19 show he upped the lie to:

“Nancy Pelosi called us all Nazis”

But she didn’t do that. He lied again.

On his September 16 show he made reference to this again, saying: “…if they cannot win on substance that means they have to turn to scorched earth politics and policies and that includes calling half the country Nazis,…”

        Limbaugh transcripts

But no one called half the country Nazis.

Limbaugh is a consummate liar, through and through.

You don’t want to defend Limbaugh in the honesty department. You will get whooped even worse than usual. Best to say you don’t listen (like Blake does), and just do it in secret anyway.

In a way, he has been extremely influential in destroying any intellectual basis for conservatism. He’s made a farce and a mockery of it and the intellectuals have been fleeing for years because of clowns like him. This leaves, mostly clowns. He has been instrumental in it now being so filled with radical know nothing nincompoops that t will say anything, no matter how crazy, in defense of their horse manure. And these people are making the republican party unelectable. Ask far right wingers like Lindsey Graham.

Rush: “There are far more similarities between Nancy Pelosi and Adolf Hitler than between these people showing up at town halls to protest a Hitler-like policy”

Republican conservative NYT’s columnist David Brooks responds: “That is insane. What he’s saying is insane.”

        • Big Dog says:

Conservatives have been fleeing for years? Then why do more people identify with censervatism?

Why don’t you continue the information that the Democratic Leadership put out. After what you quoted came this:

In addition, the tea parties are “not really all about average citizens,” the document continues, saying neo-Nazis, militias, secessionists and racists are attending them. The tea parties are also not peaceful, since reporters in Cincinnati had to seek “police protection” during one of the events, it states. Weekly Standard and Roll Call

So a senior aide furthered Pelosi’s comment with the Nazi comment.

Also, where was nancy when Liberals were acrrying the swastickas?

        • Darrel says:

Bigd: “Conservatives have been fleeing for years?”>>

No, there are lots of those. What I actually said:

“the intellectuals have been fleeing for years”

Bigd: “information that the Democratic Leadership put out.”

Notice both of your sources (which say the same):

          a) do not site a source or a name of this “senior aide.”
          b) don’t put the “new-Nazis” part in quotes, the only part the put in quotes is the claim “not really all about average citizens,”

And regardless, is it true that neo-Nazis have attended these? That’s a safe bet.

But this is all quite aside from my very solid example of Rush lying, repeatedly, about Pelosi’s comment.

  24. Blake says:

As I have said, I do not listen to Limbaugh, but perhaps, since you seem so familiar with his work, Adam, perhaps you could point out a few of his lies, as well as all the “hate”- or is it perhaps he is espousing a POV you do not agree with?
Just disagreement does not a hater make, but ignorant belief in the party line pap does.
    As Adam amply demonstrates.

    • Adam says:

It’s funny that when presented with 20+ racially insensitive quotes by Limbaugh you and Big Dog ignore them, saying basically that they are accurate so it’s not racially insensitive. Right. DAR pointed out some lies and that was unconvincing to you as well. As Big Dog says, Limbaugh doesn’t lie, it’s just that he’s “accurate almost all the time.”

      • Blake says:

Find me a single person who is never wrong, and I will buy you dinner. Everyone is wrong some time or another, so “accurate almost all the time” might be an accurate statement.
Everything else is perspective- you have yours, and we have ours.
        Isn’t life wonderful?

      • Big Dog says:

Given the number of statements he makes I imagine he has a high percentage of correct items.

You call Limbaugh a waste of a human being. I feel that way about Obama, Pelosi, Reid and a number of other politicians from both parties. Sean Penn, Rosie, Barbara Streisand, Linda Ronstadt, Keith olberman. They are all wastes of human flesh.

        Each to his own.

  25. Big Dog says:

I think Limbaugh was discussing the use of illegal drugs not people who get addicted to legally prescribed pain medication. Regardless, he broke the law and he was tried and received probation and mandated treatment as well as monitoring.

Millions of people become addicted to prescription drugs each year in their attempt to relieve pain. Quite different from seeking out illegal narcotics and using them.

Patrick Kennedy received nothing for his drug related issue and he went to counseling and all was forgiven.

Let us not lose sight of the difference here between getting hooked on prescribed medication and the use of illegal drugs. Both are a problem but one is a consequence of using medication given by a doctor.

  26. Big Dog says:

Right Darrel. He has an unfavorable rating in whose poll? In some states that are very red he would win hands down.

But who would want to go to DC anyway? It is not about the money or the prestige. Limbaugh polls more favorably than Congress )so long as the poll does not ask liberals).

If you want a coward it is Franken. I imagine he will not try to hit anyone in the Senate but who knows what he might do if he is out in the public.

He would get the floor wiped with his a$$ in this part of town. Limbaugh is much more successful than Frankenberry.

    • Darrel says:

Bigd; “He [Rush] has an unfavorable rating in whose poll?”>>

The article I referenced provided the link
      to the CBS poll.

Bigd: “Limbaugh polls more favorably than Congress”

Nope. If you read down a little at the above link, you will see Congress at this very same time in March had an approval of 30%.

      That beats 19%.

If you take the most recent six polls at polling report they currently give Congress an average job approval rating of 24.8%.

      That beats 19% too.

Bigd: “Limbaugh is much more successful than Frankenberry.”>>

Some day if you get good arguments for your beliefs you will find that you don’t have to stoop to saying such things. You will just use the good arguments instead. That’s what I do.

“…polls by Gallup in February show that Limbaugh has less favorable ratings from the mainstream public than former President George W. Bush.”

Hey, you could always try running Bush again. Even he’s even more popular than Rush.

They might even let him buy a football team too.

      • Big Dog says:

You are referring to the linked poll that has 26%(R), 36%(D), and 36%(I)? There is a balanced poll. The weighted equals 23%(R), 38%(D), and 38%(I).

Funny, a McClatchy-Ipsos poll from the same time period find Limbaugh with a 30% favorable rating. That would equal the Congressional rating in your skewed poll.

        • Adam says:

Why do you always insist on playing ignorant with polling data? It is unfair to make unscientific statements about the result of a poll just because you disagree with the results.

What splits would you want for DEM/INDI/GOP before you would consider it “balanced” or not skewed? The party breakdowns you question are not only “balanced” as you say, but right on target.

Take a look at the latest average numbers for party ID for instance: 33.5% DEM, 36.7% INDI, 21.7% GOP. These levels have stayed pretty consistent all year and match the breakdown in the poll you question.

  27. Big Dog says:

Darrel is never wrong, just ask him.

Ask Obama toadies and they will tell you he is never wrong.

    • Darrel says:

Bigd: “Darrel is never wrong, just ask him.”>>

This charge has been made several times in this forum. Here is what I said September 23, the last time it was floated, by Blake:

“I have made many mistakes and admitted to them several times on this forum.

In fact, I made a mistake, and admitted to it, on my very first post.”

  28. Big Dog says:

He would probably buy us dinner. He is generous with his money. He has given more to charity than Obama and Biden combined.

I’d like ot have dinner with him. You can come Adam, It would be funny to see you wet your pants.

  29. Big Dog says:

That’s funny Adam, because the polls for the time frame in question show that the GOP is around 33% (the group under your chart) and the numbers vary widely for the year so I can’t agree with the consistent. Right now Rasmussen shows 37% D and 32% R so I guess you were off a bit.

Polls for the last year or so have been skewed heavily toward the Dems to give Barry better numbers.

The liberal press is in the tank for him. They all share the thrilled legs. Too bad they are infatuated with this worthless chunk of skin.

  30. Adam says:

    Which time frame?

The trend of polls this year has never shown the GOP above 27% and as low as 21%. You’re going to find polls that go higher and lower but the average is a bit more meaningful. Showing the trend cancels out some of the inconsistency between polling outlets and their polling methods.

Unless you want to prove me wrong, you have no evidence to point to in order to say polls are skewed toward the Dems.

    • Darrel says:

ADAM: “The trend of polls this year has never shown the GOP above 27% and as low as 21%.”>>

Bigd seems to be of the opinion that pollsters should call a Dem and then for balance immediately call a Repub to get their opinion. Like it should be 50/50. It’s ridiculous and shows an astonishing ignorance of polling science.

      And this just in, today:

Only 20% Identify As Republicans, Lowest Since 1983

Reporting on the new ABC/Washington Post poll has mostly focused on support for a public health care option. But the poll also shows that, while Republicans have succeeded in stonewalling Democratic initiatives in Congress, they have not managed to rebuild their party.

Only 20 percent of respondents identified themselves as Republicans — the lowest number since 1983.

      George Stephanopoulos adds:

Only 19% trust Republicans in Congress to make the right decisions for the country’s future — compared to 49% trust in Obama. In addition, President Obama outpaces his fellow Democrats on the Hill — by 15 points — in this measure, providing some ammunition to the perpetual White House argument to Democratic members that their political success is inextricably linked to the president’s. And unlike other recent polls, ABC-Post give Democrats a 51-39 edge in the generic Congressional ballot.”

“So there it stands: a naked, pigeon-chested old man, random strands of white hair on its boney shoulders; its swollen-knuckled hands clasped over its dead genitals, looking at once forlorn and menacing, shivering with self-loathing and xenophobia, raging pathetically at its timely and appropriate defeat at the hands of Reason.

Ladies and gentlemen: The Republican Party.”

  31. Big Dog says:

Funny, the cume is similar to how they measure the uninsured. If a person is uninsured for a day (like when changing jobs) that person is counted as uninsured for the entire year.

  32. Big Dog says:

And Maddow and Olberdouche are part of the big media conglomerate and have access to a lot of viewers. Beck outdraws them combined.

    • Darrel says:

      [Beck outdraws]

I think a lot of that is people stopping to gawk at the car accident.

“Eighty advertisers have reportedly dropped their ads from Glenn Beck’s Fox News program since he called President Obama a “racist” who has a “deep-seated hatred of white people.”

  33. Big Dog says:

No, I think the numbers called should be adjusted to reflect the balance of the registered voters though the reality is likely voters is a more accurate poll.

We will see next November how many Republicans there are.

    • Adam says:

I hope there are GOP gains in 2010. I don’t think your party can take another ego blow after the last 2 elections.

      • Big Dog says:

Not worried about the party. Worried about the country. We need to take it back and have it run by people who know what the Constitution is and know how to represent people.

        Regardless of party.

  34. Big Dog says:

Advertisers withdrew because Beck told the truth?

Let them go. The show is doing fine.

    • Adam says:

Right. There’s always ads to air tricking people like Sean Hannity into gold scams. Beck won’t miss those other advertisers at all…

      • Big Dog says:

Buying gold is not a scam, it is a smart investment to hedge against inflation.

However, knowing that there are gold commercials tells me you watch Beck. I guess you would so you could learn the history of the Marxists in government.

Beck is not hurting because Fox is not hurting. Many have stopped using the products of those who canceled.

They do not have to advertise but I think it no big deal. Interestingly, they advertise on Olberdouche’s show and he called Bush much worse than a racist, which is a true statement about Obama.

That’s how the whites will do ya…
