John Murtha Should Shut Up

We all know there were civilians killed by US Marines and that the incident was not investigated for some time. However, what we do not know as of yet , is if the Marines were justified in what they did. They might have been and might not as well but we will not know until the investigation is over!

“I will not excuse murder, and this is what happened,” Murtha said. “This investigation should have been over two or three weeks afterward and it should have been made public and people should have been held responsible for it.”

John Murtha already has the Marines tried and convicted of murder. This pompous blowhard just can not keep his mouth shut. He is constantly bashing the troops and America. Former Marine or not, he is a cut and run moonbat who I think borders on being a coward. Be that as it may, he might have damaged any case against the Marines. The investigation is not completed and Murtha is running around saying they committed murder. If these Marines did something wrong they need to be published but it will be hard given that big mouth Murtha has shown a huge bias and commented on an open investigation.

Murtha is also saying that this incident was covered up. It might have been or the investigation should have been going on for a long time. The men are in the middle of a war. It is not like getting a few Congressmen together for a scotch, these guys are all over the place. Now, thanks to big mouth, no matter what the Marine Corps investigation reveals (as to whether they tried to cover it up) people will believe there was a cover up and then a cover up of the cover up. Everyone will remember big mouth saying there was a cover up and they will not want to hear the facts in the case.

This guy needs to retire or die so that some fresh blood can get in Congress.

Mr. Murtha’s Rush to Judgement by ILARIO PANTANO (WaPo):

Mr. Murtha’s position is particularly suspect when he is quoted by news services as saying that the strain of deployment “has caused them [the Marines] to crack in situations like this.” Not only is he certain of the Marines’ guilt but he claims to know the cause, which he conveniently attributes to a policy he opposes.
