Jimmy Carter Knows Something About Losing

Former one term President Jimmy Carter was on CNN’s Larry King Live show where he said that he did not want to see Joe Lieberman win the election. Carter, as you will recall, was a one term President who was trounced in a landslide by Ronald Reagan. Carter knows a thing or two about losing and he is using his expert knowledge in his assessment of Lieberman:

Lamont’s campaign got a boost Wednesday from former President Carter, who offered a blistering critique of Lieberman’s support for the Iraq war. “He was one of the originators of public statements that misled the American people into believing that the Iraqi war was justified,” the former Democratic president said on CNN’s “Larry King Live.”

“He’s joined in with the Republican spokespersons by saying that Democrats who disagree are really supporting terrorism,” Carter said. “So for all these reasons, I’ve lost my confidence in Joe Lieberman and don’t wish to see him re-elected.”

Jimmy Carter was such a bad president that the misery index, developed during his race against Ford, was the highest of all time during his years in office. There is an official reason it is called called the misery index but I think it is named that because everything this hapless boob did caused misery. He was terrible in foreign policy and his inaction allowed a guy like Ahmadinejad to be in power. You see, it was that very Iranian terrorist who was part of the group that took Americans hostage at the US Embassy in Iran. Carter was impotent and the laughing stock of the world. He also gave us misery at gas pumps by trying to regulate an industry that is best left to the law of supply and demand. Does anyone remember the odd/even days?

Carter has not figured out yet that people do not want to hear what he has to say. We did not want to hear what he had to say when we voted him out of office (my first time voting) and we certainly do not want to hear him now. Carter is a doddering old fool who is trying to convince himself that he has some sort of relevance in the world. He does not.

Carter is against any act of aggression. I doubt he would fight a criminal beating and raping his wife. He would try to understand the guy’s problems and see if he could help. That attitude allowed Jimmy Carter to rape America. He was so inept that all we could do is drop our drawers and grab our ankles.

I liken Jimmy Carter to a senile old uncle or the TV. We have it making noise in the background but don’t pay much attention to it. Amazingly, there are a few moonbats out there who give credence to what he says. They are either to young to remember what he caused us or they are too foolish to realize it. Either way, they are giving validity to a man whose ideas were rejected a long time ago when the misery index came into existence.
