It Will Take Less Time To Make Us Slaves

Barack Obama is out trying to whip his base into a frenzy so they will come out in November and vote. He is trying everything because he knows that he and his party are in real trouble. Obama is out lying about the Republican party and telling us that they want to go back to the policies of the last eight years, the ones that got us in trouble. This trouble has been brewing for longer than eight years and Democrats were in charge for most of the time the trouble brewed though both parties share the blame.

Regardless, Obama has already shown he will say anything to get what he wants. He has been caught saying different things at different times depending on who he is trying to appeal to. He is a con man, we are the mark and the sting is on the way.

Unless we can stop him by taking away his majority.

The funny thing is, Obama has to pump up his base after they came out in huge numbers (most of them being legal voters) in 2008. They are so displeased with him and what he has done that they are apathetic. They just do not care so Obama is out trying to get them to stay the course. He is telling his base that things take time so they need to be patient. He told them that it took time to end slavery and that the slaves patiently waited for it to end.

I fail to see a valid comparison here. The end of slavery came as a result of the Civil War, a war that was waged over state’s rights and which cost over 600,000 lives. The Obama Agenda is a war being waged over the rights of individuals and it has cost over 7 million jobs.

In the past 18 months Barack Obama has enslaved us to government. He has taken over auto companies, taken over health care, taken over the financial sector and he is trying to take over the very air we breathe by taxing the air we exhale.

The Obama base might not be happy that he has not done as much as he said and Massa Obama might like to tell them that ending slavery took a long time but the reality is it only took 18 months to make us all slaves.

If we do not stop this Socialist from fulfilling his agenda we will have even more trouble in this country.

It took 600,000 lives to end slavery the first time. How many will it take this time?

  1. Obama’s problem is Obama. The Democrats’ problem is Obama. Which seems fair, as America’s problem is Obama.

The GOP has, once again, successfully nationalized a midterm election. The older received wisdom held this to be impossible, as midterms are supposedly about local concerns above all. They were able to do so because of Barack Hussein Obama: the very first open social-fascist to be raised to the presidency of the United States.

Clearly, the Democrats can’t afford a nationalized election, which is why their spokesman Ryan Rudominer recently commented on the Republican Pledge to America as follows:

“I don’t think we have, like, you know, a 21-page sort of infomercial-type package like this….Look, you know, each race is going to have their own individualized message. So look, we’re not putting together a gimmicky package like this six weeks before the election. We’re talking about making each of these elections a choice.”

The Won has made the federal government his personal satrapy, with his thirty-odd “czars,” his relentless campaigning, his personal assaults on his adversaries, his self-mutilating comments on things he knows nothing about, his ubiquitous teleprompter — yes, even at those “backyard” appearances he’s beenmaking — and his inability to repress his desire to indulge himself and his family in luxury and leisure. Yes, friends, it’s “all about him…” which is a very satisfying thing for a conservative to say when contemplating November 2, and the prospects for 2012.

With Obama, it is ALL about him and his personal vision of what HE BELIEVES IS RIGHT FOR aMERICA, and nothing is going to make him alter that- it’s a Messianic thing, and he will go ahead with his beliefs regardless of what it does to the Democratic Party.
An intelligent man, like Bubba Clinton, knew to move to the center- but Bari holds us in such contempt, much like Cass Sunstein, who compared America to Homer Simpson, that it is impossible for him to alter his position- there is a reason why Emanuel has left the ship of state- rats desert a sinking ship, and that is what Bari’s administration is rapidly becoming.

Obama’s agenda cost 7 million jobs? How so?

“They are so displeased with him and what he has done that they are apathetic.”

You’re simply projecting now because you hate every thing he does. The enthusiasm gap for Democrats is only in part because of displeasure. Only 11% of Democrats polled recently by Fox were displeased with Obama’s job so far. It’s the independents that Obama has lost and not his base. The independents are a shifty bunch anyway. They swept Democrats in, they’ll sweep Democrats out this time.

I think those looking at the race are correct that the enthusiasm gap for the Dems has decreased and overall support for Democratic candidates has grown stronger lately but I doubt it will matter much. The Democrats have turned the tide in a few big races but they haven’t turned enough. It’s possible they could close strong and barely protect their majority but that seems unlikely given how little time there is left and how many people had already made up their mind weeks ago.

If the election were held today I believe the Republicans would run the house by 10+ seats and the Democrats would run the Senate by about 2. That could go one way or another in the next few weeks. It will be interesting to watch and I’m pretty excited about seeing how things turn out even though I know it will be tough for the Democrats that night.

Sadly, as Adam points out, a very large number of people in America honestly WANT socialism. They WANT government to take care of them. They WANT someone to tell them what to do, because to be free is hard. It is much easier to sit back and say things like, “Gee, I’m just doing my job” — because they like being paid for doing nothing while sucking other people who actually work and produce dry. Unfortunately, I think the majority of voting people honestly despise freedom.

No, they won’t SAY they hate freedom, but when you vote for government, you’re voting against freedom. When you support Obama, you’re supporting the opposite of freedom.
