We have become so terrified of raghead attacks that we willingly give up rights that ifthey were taken otherwise, we would revolt.
Benjamin Franklin, when asked what kind of government was formed, replied, ” A Republic- if you can keep it.”
He also made reference to the fact that those who would give up liberty in exchange for safety, deserved neither.
