As an independant voter who will cast his vote for McCain in November, I have only one thing to say to Hagon and Leston – SCREW YOU!

Where do these s***heads get off questioning my patriotism and calling me a racist?! Skin color never factored into my decision. I’m not voting for Obama for many reasons:

opposed the surge;

is a limp-wristed weenie when it comes to fighting terrorists;

extreme views on abortion;

a stunning lack of major accomplishments throughout his entire career;

an inability to work with anyone across the aisle, so to speak;

playing a part in the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac mess;

hypocritical attitudes (such as whining about McCain having lobbyists in his campaign and how horrible that is, but flat-out ignoring the ones working for him);

having a massive ego (“I already answered eight questions today”);

outright lying (“McCain wants one hundred years of war in Iraq”);

horrific associations with slimebags like Wright and Ayers (which could have been forgiven if he outright denounced them right away instead of making excuses);

blatant flip-flopping (guns, abortion, an undivided Jerusalem, terrorism – pick an issue, any issue).

Shall I go on?

I’m not saying McCain is perfect and that he hasn’t made some blunders over the years, but he is by-and-large better than Obama (plus any of the other Democrats that sought the office in this campaign).

And, also, I’ve yet to hear McCain or any of his people question my patriotism and call me a racist.

Big Dog answered the question…90% of blacks will vote for Obama. Also the left needs to get it through their heads that the majority of us are voting FOR McCain and not AGAINST Obama.

Adam, blacks make up about 12-14 percent of the population but more than 90% of them will vote Obama. If more than 90% of whites voted McCain the shouts of racist Americans would be deafening.

But where is the poll asking how many blacks are voting for him just because he is black.

You will notice that the report indicates that while there are racial tensions among Republicans they did not indicate color was the reason they were not voting for him.

Looks like that diverse party still has racial hatred from its roots stuck in its DNA. With the Democrat's history of racism it will take a while to get it out of their systems.

Just out today is a poll saying “one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks …”

Even with exit polling I don’t know if we can quantify the amount of Obama supporters voting for Obama because of his race but it’s an interesting subject and a new ground to cover because until now there was no reason to measure how many folks were voting for the white guy because he was a white guy…

Adam, I don’t think anyone has said that some people won’t vote for Obama because he is black. There are racists and bigots in our society no matter where you live. I submit that they are a minority of the electorate. However, it’s the characterization of the issue from the left. You did it your self.

Just “a number” will vote for Obama because he is black but a “large number” will NOT vote for him because he is black? Be honest. The number of people voting for Obama based on his race is a much greater percentage than those who aren’t voting for him for the same reason. And “that’s just the way it is, you can’t get around it, you can’t find facts to suggest otherwise”. Anything else is just the left trying to shame or bully people into voting for Obama…or have a premptive excuse ready should he lose. I am tired of the left claiming they can read my mind or know what is in my heart just because I don’t support their candidate.

Obama promoted his book on Imus' show and then called for him to be fired. Will he do the same with Sandra Bernhard?

I agree with you that it depends upon the circumstances. However, people are defining anything negative as racist and that does nothing to help.
