Honoring Our Nation's Veterans

Soldier

On this day we honor the brave men and women who have served this country with honor and dignity. May God watch over them and keep them safe.

The men and women of the armed forces confront our enemies day in and day out to ensure the battle is fought on their turf and not ours. They also have to confront those in our country who protest them and their service. They keep their heads up and their minds focused on their mission and that mission is the defense of this nation.

When you pray, thank God we have men and women willing to sacrifice everything so that others, most of whom they have never met, can sleep in peace at night.

“Our obligations to our country never cease but with our lives.”
—John Adams, letter to Benjamin Rush, April 18, 1808

I add my thanks to all who wear the uniform and serve this great country today and all those who have served in the past.

Big Dog, thank you for your service when you were in the US Army and today as you help lead the fight for us to have the conservative country the Founding Fathers envisioned 200+ years ago.

  2. My sincere thanks to all who have served this great nation as members of the armed forces without whom this would not have not been possible.

Let us all show our appreciation to those who serve by doing our part. All veterans deserve our support for their service to country and needs that arise based on that service.

Let your elected reps know of your support for veterans. Urge them to honor the country’s obligation to them.

Sometimes we miss the mark on our responsibilities. Let this not be one of those times.
