Here’s Still Another Nutjob

Man oh man- they just crawl right out of the woodwork, don’t they? Yesterday, I wrote of “Czar” Holdren, who is in favor of involuntary sterilization by putting chemicals in the water we drink, among other dangerous behaviors, and today, our whacko du jour is named Cass Sunstein, yet another “friend” of Hussein- he seems to attract the truly demented, doesn’t he?

This guy feels that animals have rights every bit as solid as people, and can even bring suit in a court of law against their human owners. A Cow could sue a farmer for killing and slaughtering her calf, under the ideas this nutjob holds.

[R]epresentatives of animals should be able to bring private suits to ensure that anticruelty and related laws are actually enforced. Of course, any animals would be represented by human beings, just like any other litigant who lacks ordinary (human) competence; for example, the interests of children are protected by prosecutors, and also by trustees and guardians in private litigation brought on children’s behalf. … If getting rid of the idea that animals are property is helpful in reducing suffering, then we should get rid of the idea that animals are property.

Yea, right- how does Hussein seem to attract these people? He has a whole “Shadow Cabinet” of these insane people he calls “Czars” who do not need to check in with Congress to see if what they are doing is legal- heck they do not care, they are out to, as Hussein himself put it repeatedly, “fundamentally change America.” Oh yes, people just didn’t know what the “Change” would really be, because people heard his sing- song voice, but did not truly listen to the words.

Wikipedia, an online “Dictionary and encyclopedia” I do not particularly care for, nevertheless has some relevant information on Mr. Sunstein:

Sunstein has also written often in favor of animal rights. “Every reasonable person believes in animal rights,” he says.[19] He also says that human “willingness to subject animals to unjustified suffering will be seen … as a form of unconscionable barbarity… morally akin to slavery and the mass extermination of human beings,”[20] and that we might “conclude that certain practices cannot be defended and should not be allowed to continue, if, in practice, mere regulation will inevitably be insufficient—and if, in practice, mere regulation will ensure that the level of animal suffering will remain very high.”[21] Specifically he thinks that, “we ought to ban hunting.”[22] He also thinks that “we could even grant animals a right to bring suit”[23] and that it is possible that “that before long, Congress will grant standing to animals to protect their own rights and interests.”[24] This all stems from his claim that “animals, species as such, and perhaps even natural objects warrant respect for their own sake, and quite apart from their interactions with human beings.”[25]

This is just one of his wacky positions- he has others, such as his position on limiting free speech, and strictly regulating the internet, and in his position in the administration, he will be able to bend the laws  to favor his twisted ideas; indeed he already has, by helping to defeat the proposed law that would make it legal to carry a concealed weapon in all fifty states, if you are licensed to carry in your native state. Your right to carry should not end at the border to your state.  Sunstein believes it should, for starters.

In regulating the Internet, he wants to relax the libel laws with regard to bloggers, holding them to a higher standard than even newspapers, probably because newspapers are becoming irrelevant, and as a regulatory “Czar”, he might be able to do just that.

These are the people Hussein surrounds himself with. It began with Bill Ayers, and Jeremiah Wright. Now, all the rest of the roaches are crawling out of the woodwork, and we are slowly, horrifyingly seeing these bottom feeders congregate like maggots on a corpse. There is a problem with this-

The corpse is us, and we are still alive- for now.

And just think of the next level of progression in this whacko’s mind- perhaps carrots could sue, on the grounds that they were cruelly yanked out of the ground, or the grass, because of the mower used.
I mean, how far could this go? Is a weed- whacker a “deadly weapon”?

One of the scariest things (other than these czars) is that Obummer is just getting started, he has only been in office 6 months by the time his term has ended (has to be just one term please God) just how much damage can he and his henchman do to our beloved country?

Quite a bit, when you consider how hard it is to END a bureaucracy- there are some departments that should have phased out on WWII, so what he puts in place will be hard to root out, but you can be sure we will try, because what he is trying to do will “fundamentally change America”, ( his words, remember.)
