No matter where you stand on the Terri Schiavo case you have to laugh at the stupidity of the lawyer who represents her husband. He was evidently upset that Governor Bush was seeking to take Schiavo into protective custody and this is what the jackass said:
“It saddens me greatly that we have to run to court to get court orders to protect Terri Schiavo from the abuse of the state of Florida,” he said. “The conduct of the executive branch of the state of Florida has been reprehensible in this case.”
Here is an idiot who fought to have a feeding tube removed which will ultimately lead to a painful death saying that he needs to get court orders to protect Terri from the abuse of the state of Florida.
My question is, who is trying to save Terri from the abuse from the husband and his ambulance chasing lawyer?
No matter where you stand on this one you have to wonder what this genius was smoking when he came up with that line. I guess trying to feed a starving person is abuse. Perhaps we can stop all the social welfare programs designed to feed the needy. We wouldn’t want to abuse them, now would we?
