As many of you know, the Iranians have taken 15 British warriors hostage. This should be no surprise since the Iranian president was involved in taking Americans hostage during the Carter presidency. In any event, the British were in Iraqi waters. The British, Americans, French, and Iraqis all attest to this as does a fisherman who witnessed the incident. The Iranians have seized these war fighters ILLEGALLY. Rosie O’Donnell was on her show, The Dog Kennel View and she implied that this was a Gulf of Tonkin type incident to allow us to attack Iran:
But interesting with the British sailors, there were 15 British sailors and Marines who apparently went into Iranian waters and they were seized by the Iranians. And I have one thing to say: Gulf of Tonkin, Google it. Okay. News Busters
For those who do not know, the Gulf of Tonkin incident was an incident where it was alleged that North Vietnamese had been aggressive to US warships and that incident, under the control of a Democrat, drew us into the Vietnam war. This is stupid because the Gulf of Tonkin issue involved items that might not have happened. President Johnson could not confirm that the North Vietnamese had been aggressive. In this incident we can clearly see that the Iranians have become the aggressor. They enteres Iraqi waters and abducted the British soldiers. Rosie, it might be hard for you to understand, but this is not make believe. They were captured and your utterance that they had gone into Iranian waters as if that were a fact shows that you have no concept of what is going on and will side with anyone before you will side with your country or our allies.
So folks, before you pay attention to this blow hard, read the news and look at the facts. The Gulf of Tonkin might have been contrived to get us into war but in this case, the Iranians really did show aggression. The British were where they belonged and the Iranians violated Iraqi territorial waters and took them hostage. We know from their history that the Iranians (especially their President) will invade a sovereign territory to abduct people. They invaded our embassy and took Americans hostage. That was an act of aggression and an act of war and if Jimmy Carter had had any balls he would have made dust out of them and we would not have these issues today.
Ever notice that every time we get stung by the bad guys we get stung by people who a Democrat placated? Carter gave us this mess and Clinton gave us 9/11. Leave it to Rosie to miss that with her anti American anti-Britain attitude. Maybe the terrorists will abduct her and cut her head off. Na, they don’t touch pork…
