Fetus Don’t Fail Me Now

Well, Skinny B is set to speak at Notre Dame University, a supposedly staunchly Catholic institution that allegedly supports the Right to Life movement, and should be anti- abortion.

Skinny B is pro- abortion, so pro- abortion that he is in favor of sucking a baby’s brains out in late term abortions and killing a baby in the womb. What a great guy, huh? Love to have him at a party, some light convo, a little fetus killing, everyone goes home happy, right?

There is a disconnect here, between the folks at the university, and the rest of the Catholic leadership, apparently. The students, and the university professors (who you would expect to be liberal) seem to want this person to speak at the commencement- well, that is one thing, but to give him an honorary degree from this prestigious University is another thing entirely, as it appears that the University is honoring, or at least condoning his stance on abortion, which runs counter to that of the Catholic church.

This is wrong- while my convictions are pro life, I realize that Roe v Wade is law, and I can’t change that myself. I also realize that this is a law that is better when used VERY sparingly, and Barama seems to believe that we should have a Big Box Store that caters to abortions, to hear him talk about this. He has been evasive as to just when he believes life begins, and I believe that is so there will not be a certain date where abortions could not be performed. Take that to the extreme, you could feasibly abort as a baby is being born, according to his ambiguity. The man will not take a position here- “That question is above my pay grade.” Really, or do you not have the cojones to actually stake out a moral position and defend it?

I can understand Notre Dame allowing him to speak- after all he is (shudder) the president- but the honorary degree is too much. First, you have to believe that the man has some honor, and I do not. Barama is a man of convenience, and his ideals shift according to his audience. If that sounds like I am calling him a liar and a con man, you would be hearing right.

He makes and breaks promises faster than the speed of Nancy Pelosi’s medications. When in Chicago, as a State legislator, he voted for a bill that would, in effect, kill babies in the womb, well after there would be a discernible heartbeat- something that I would think anyone with any sense of humanity would shy away from, but not him. One might be excused from thinking that Barama has stock in some fetus- sucking, stem cell producing start- up company, and needs some raw material. His positions seem to reflect something like this scenario. Perhaps his share is being kept in Al Gore’s “Lockbox” for after he gets out of office.

The bottom line here is that Barama should speak at Notre Dame, but he should not get the honorary degree, because that would demean the University’s stated position. The students seem to want to hear this faker, but that’s their privilege.

Winston Churchill once said, ” If you are 20, and not liberal, you have no heart- if you are 40, and are not conservative, you have no brain.”

I’ll let that quote sink in.

“Roe v Wade is law” but laws can be changed. It was changed to enact “Roe v Wade” and the fact is killing babies is…killing babies. Exactly what part of killing babies don’t liberals understand?

God &%$# Obama’s wife is a “Big Box store.”

  2. Randy says:

I need to correct you on a couple of points. Barack Obama voted against a redundant abortion bill. He never voted for any legislation allowing for any sort of different interpretation of current abortion law here in Illinois.

Also, Winston Churchill never said what you say he said. It was contrary to his very own political history. The quote you mistakenly attributed to him was uttered by one of those Frenchmen that conservatives seem to loathe so much.

    • Blake says:

Perhaps the quote was attributed to the wrong person, but the quote itself expresses my sentiments precisely. I find it strange, and not a little disingenuous that liberals often think that tripping someone up on a source seems to make them superior, when they can’t refute the common sense part of the discussion, the meat, as it were.

      • Adam says:

Right. You’ve got your “common sense” to tell you when you’re right. Who needs facts, sources, and accuracy, right Blake? What a joke…

        • In on it not says:

Actually, a fact is a fact, and sources don’t change facts. Most people grow out of childish fantasy at some point, and other never do.

You don’t have to accept common sense. That it is called “common” is a mistake, for it is rare. Some people even call common sense “a joke.”
One can live an entire life in la-la land and it will be no more wasted a life than it would be if you sourced every lunatic phylosophy embraceable by the common fool.

        • Blake says:

Adam- It’s OK if you do not recognize common sense- they do not have much of that in San Fran, as I understand it. Lawyers need facts- they are running a trial- I am just discussing a subject- Skinny B- and his stance on abortion, which I find to be objectionable.
It seems libs use the technique of ridicule when they run out of logic, right Adam?

        • Adam says:

Notice how Blake just admitted he doesn’t have facts to back up what he says. He thinks he doesn’t need them because he’s only discussing a subject. Right, fine.

        • Blake says:

Adam, you really get tiresome- why not go back to meathead, where yo can give each other an affirming hug, and revel in your vile character assassination. It will make you feel better, I am sure, and give meat someone to talk to.

  3. Big Dog says:

    Randy,
True the quote is OFTEN attributed to Churchill.

The kind of French who uttered it was a man from a couple of centuries ago. More likely he was the kind we would have liked. The kind today are nothing like those of the past.

You can say Obama voted against A (as in one) redundant bill but he voted more than once and he voted in favor of unfettered abortion.

He believes in letting those who survive an abortion lie on a table and die and he believes that abortion should be allowed at any point of the pregnancy.

    Those are his beliefs.

  4. In on it not says:

To be a good liberal you have to believe that criminals should be free and babies deserve death.

  5. a mother says:

In on it not was reading my mind. How can liberals say that someone who can commit a heinous crime spend their lives (and our tax dollars) in prison, but a baby who was created by two people (who knew the consequences before they took off their clothes) has no rights at all?

    • Darrel says:

The Catholic church is the personification of life? Wow. (somebody doesn’t know their church history…)

Hey, I do hope all of you guys were just as upset when Bush, who just loves the death penalty, spoke here.

Anyone know the pope’s position on the death penalty?

Oh yes, same as his position on abortion.

      What convenient, breathtaking, hypocrisy.

      D.

  8. Blake says:

So, so hypocritical these liberals are. On the one hand, they are all for sucking a baby out of the womb, killing it when it has a discernible heartbeat, and its only crime was that it was “an inconvenient baby”, while foaming at the mouth for killing someone who committed heinous crimes, like raping children or murder. The rank hypocrisy just stuns me- and they say I have no common sense?
    Where is their logic?
