Feinstein Is A War Profiteer

Dianne Feinstein, the Senator from California, is a war profiteer. In a recent article that fact is exposed. Feinstein, who is married to a wealthy man, tells everyone she was misled into voting for the war. She is also one who, oddly enough, says we need to stay until the job is done. This is odd because the Democratic mantra is “get them out now” as sung by John Murtha.

It would appear that Feinstein might actually have voted for the war for other reasons and her desire to stay the course might actually be based upon that same reason. Her husband is a contractor who made millions off the very war she claims to have been misled in to.

The wishy-washy senator now claims Bush misled her prior to the invasion of Iraq. I don’t think she’s being honest with us, though. There may have been other reasons she helped sell Bush’s lies. According to the Center for Public Integrity, Feinstein’s husband Richard Blum has racked in millions of dollars from Perini, a civil infrastructure construction company, of which the billionaire investor wields a 75 percent voting share.

In April 2003, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers gave $500 million to Perini to provide services for Iraq’s Central Command. A month earlier in March 2003, Perini was awarded $25 million to design and construct a facility to support the Afghan National Army near Kabul. And in March 2004, Perini was awarded a hefty contract worth up to $500 million for “electrical power distribution and transmission” in southern Iraq. antiwar.com

We have heard all the lip service from the left about Halliburton with claims that Dick Cheney is making money for his old company (and by extension for himself through his stocks). Adam has indicated in past posts that Cheney and his Halliburton connections are the reason we are at war. Perhaps someone would like to explain how Feinstein’s hubby can make all this money off the war and the Senator can cast votes that benefit her family and this does not get any mention in the MSM. You can bet that every time Halliburton gets a contract it is front page news. Feinstein, on the other hand, is never taken to task over this obviously shady issue. Cheney has no ties to Halliburton (his stocks are irrevocably signed over to charity) but Feinstein directly benefits from her husbands business and he from her position.

The Feinsteins have decided to show us how wealthy they have become off war money by purchasing a $16.5 MILLION dollar mansion. You can see it here.

Doanne Feinstein is another do as I say, not as I do Democrat.
