Without their buy-in, and that of the pharmaceutical companies, the outcry against ObamaCare would be deafeningly loud. Capitol Hill would never withstand it. The process to watch closely at this point is the <i>sub rosa</i> tendering of compensatory positions -- advisory, judicial, bureaucratic -- to undecided and uneasy Democrat Congressvermin in exchange for "yes" votes on the Senate's medical care federalization bill. For every one the media reports on, there will be one or more that slip past; it's in the nature of the corruption business. We've already seen at least one; how many more will it take before the public storms the Hill with torches and pitchforks?
