Didn’t They Have A Black Spiderman?

Just in time for the coronation of Obama, Marvel comics has a hot issue that will be out on the 14th featuring Barack Obama. Past presidents have made appearances in the comic book but geeks seem to be having orgasms over this one.

Obama is prominently featured on the cover (only on some of them so get in line now) and the writers have a sinister plot that Spidey has to unravel in order to save the world from the messiah.

Yep, there are two Obama’s but Spidey has them play basketball to find out who the real one is. Why didn’t he look for the holes in his hands and feet or make him take off his shirt and display those oh so sleek Obama pecs?

Amazingly, Spiderman saves Obama (and therefore dooms the country) which is quite odd.

Didn’t the masses elect Obama to save them?

    My son loves Spidey. I may have to turn him onto Iron Man or maybe even Captain America.

    Why do I get the scary feeling this gonna rank up there with the Clone Saga on “One More Day” on the list of horrible Spider-Man stories.
