Didn’t Biden Quit Because Of This?

I remember some time ago (1988) Joe Biden, the dipstick Senator from Delaware, was in a Presidential race and he had to withdraw. The reason? It was discovered that he used the words of a British politician without attribute. Biden basically used the guy’s speech and did not tell anyone that he had done so. He stole someone else’s work. I know accidents happen but an accident is when you use a line from someone else without realizing it. A bunch of lines without attribution means Biden knew it or it is a good thing he did not make it to the White House because he would be too stupid to run the country. It looks like Hillary Clinton might have done the same thing while she was out pandering for her run at the White House and she can not claim that she heard it but could not remember where because it was her husband’s line:

Bill Clinton, Democratic National Convention (Jan. 20, 1993)
“There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America.”

Hillary Clinton, speech to a Hispanic organization (Apr 5, 2006)
“There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be fixed by what is right about America.”

She used this line, the same line her husband used, to pass herself off as some kind of genuine thinker. She basically stole Bill’s line and did not give him credit for it. He might have given her permission (it is probably implied anyway) or the law might make it permissible to use a spouse’s words. The fact is though, the people hearing the speech have a right to know where the words came from. By not disclosing that bit of information, Hillary gave everyone there the impression she came up with that. She presented them with a bill of goods.

This might not seem like a big deal to some and in the over all scheme it is not, but given the Clintons’ propensity for lying we need to keep an eye on her. This is from a description of the Biden incident:

…and the discovery of other quotations in Biden’s speeches pilfered from past Democratic politicians.

It would seem to me that Hillary has a quotation from a past Democratic politician, and she did not give attribution. I wonder if the Drive by Media will give her speeches as much scrutiny as they did Biden’s. Anyone want to wager on this one? I’ll take “they don’t.”
