I agree with most of the premise of your post. I do not agree with you pulling Edwards in as way of making sound like it fits into your blog. People are falling into hard times all over the country. There are many people and banks responsible for this. Edwards personally is not responsible.

While I agree there needs to be less government intrusion and more personal responsiblity, I do have some compassion for those who see no hope after losing it all. While in most cases it is living above one’s means, it isn’t always. Unfortunately, some mortgage companies were able to convince people to commit to very bad loans – the paperwork isn’t always a breeze to understand.
